This place is really just a takeout, with a front area with a table or two if you really want to…read morestay. I was promised freshly made food, and I received it. Despite a few menu alterations on their part, I got some interesting food. The place is listed as Pakastani, so I ordered things that seemed distinctively regional. My paneer chili delivered a delicious Indo-Chinese spice note and enough chili to clear my sinuses. The amount of actual paneer was not huge, but neither was the price, so I ended up just eating it all at once (unusual for me to finish an entire entree of that heavy stuff). The way they do a samosa chaat is a little bit drier and tangier than most, which does feel more like the style one gets in Pakistani places. It was satisfying, though the styrofoam container struggled to hold the liquid a bit. Of the numerous Indian restaurants in the area, I doubt this one will blow away all the others, but it was distinctive, fresh, and convenient. They gave me a loyalty card, and I'll probably come back.

Both main dishes had limited depth of flavor without the craveable layers of Indian spices that culinary dreams are made of. Both tasted freshly made and not stewed for hours, which would have provided the depth. Service/owner was perfectly nice. And the prices were half of the nearby competitors. Give Lahore a try! May be perfectly fine for most, especially as an introductory Indian food experience. Where's the heat?

When the food arrived it was still surprisingly hot and fresh. Everything was delicious even the garlic naan. My only issue is it wasn't packaged for transport so it can be a bit messy to open but to be clear that won't stop me come coming back. I've not tried anything else so I can't speak on the other dishes but I like consistency and everything I've eaten here it's been consistently good so no complaints. 10/10

And I think this really works in its favor. It provides for a unique atmosphere and customer experience. I don't mind getting my own utensils and and refills at all. I tend to end up here for lunch and I love their thali meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions and are large. The variety, quality and quantity is really hard to been for the price. They also have a surprisingly good selection of Indian beers. Now, there isn't a ton of seating and it can get busy around lunch time. Keep this in mind when planning a visit. If you're looking for a good spot to grab some Indian food I'd absolutely suggest swinging by Namaste. I plan to return.

Great Indian food! Stopped here for lunch and had never been before. Service was fast and friendly…read moreand ordering was easy. The food was very good but the spice levels were a little off. We ordered a chicken biryani at 2/5 that was a perfect spicy but my lamb tikka masala was very mild (ordered a 4/5). My only other complaint is the chicken which seemed to be chicken breast instead of thighs. While it was still good, using thighs would have been much more tender. Overall great place, average dish is $15-17 and enough for 1 adult. I'll be back to try some more dishes!

I recently ordered takeout from Hyderabad House and was pleased with the experience…read more What I ordered: I got their gobi manchurian to start things off. It came is spice levels: baby mild, mild, medium, spicy, very spicy. I got the mild because I do like my gobi manchurian to have some spice. That said, their mild is more like a heavily medium from what I'm accustomed to. I enjoyed it but just a note--if you like things to have only a slight kick, I'd go for the baby mild. For my main, I got their malai kofta. It closer to a light medium when ordering it mild but again, no problem with that. For the dish itself I found dumplings to be a bit too mushy and the overall flavor was a bit lacking for me. For my bread, I got the garlic naan. It was excellent! Covered in chopped garlic and glistening with butter--it was indulgent and delicious. Everything was perfectly packaged (no leaking!) and came piping hot! And, the servings were robust so I have fully half leftover for another dinner. Get to it!
