This place is old school. Take out only. I'm still exploring the menu, but so far, the Egg Foo Young has been my favorite.

Been going here for 37 years get the almond chicken with the all white meat upcharge get the almond gravy on yhe side get chicken wings and pork fried rice or beef fried rice for a perfect meal. Though a bummer that dinning in remains closed and the egg rolls aren't what they used to be, this remains the best Chinese restaurant South Carolina and the CSRA had to offer, let alone Aiken County! Combination plate portions are by far the best value. Not only are they enough to have leftovers for the majority of people, but the lunch portions are the same size as the dinner portion. On top of that, they remain under $10 despite how much inflation has increased the other restaurants. Personally, the quality of the food is better than its competition. The fried rice is a bit on the greasier side, but still good and the protein are plenty saucy. And if you don't think so, you can ask for extra sauce (beware!). This restaurant has been in my life for at least 25 years. Since I was a little girl my family has always gotten takeout from this restaurant. It is the best Chinese food I've ever eaten. Not only is it family owned and ran, but the hospitality is unbeatable. The service is always quick and easy. Orders are always hot, correct and delicious. When I say I want Chinese food, this is the place I want! Dining room is no longer open, but I understand that, it's not in the best area. But the front door & walkway are always clean & free of debris. I am so glad our local MingMing's is still open & in business. read more

We literally had to try three times to eat here. First try we arrived ~30m before closing and were told they weren't taking any more orders. Second time we tried to call ahead and got no answer after many tries. We tried one more time tonight given lots of local recommendations. Everyone raves about this and we had tried several times before our visit to order by telephone without success. This time we rang early so we could get through. I ordered the sweet and sour pork and my wife ordered the almond chicken. Basically the sweet and sour chicken was one sticky syrup glob of batter stuck together. Chicken was tough also once I pulled it all apart. It was the worst Chinese I have had in a long time. I was very surprised that it was as nasty as it was. I suspect non Chinese people run this restaurant as it was bad. I then started to look at the reviews for this place as I couldn't believe it was as bad as it was considering how many people go here and rave about it. After looking at it there was quite a few bad reviews. Perhaps this place has new owners. Don't normally say this but I won't be going back or giving it another try. read more

Ming Ming's use to be pretty good afew years ago but these last few years have been really disappointing. the last several times we've been there has been really sub par. I think tonight was the last time im going there. we had a big order and the wait was 44min. No big deal but the issue is that after getting my order everything was cold and tasted old. on top of that they have jacked up the prices and the quality of the food doesn't justify the price. we spent 90$ and everything was just not good, definitely not worth the Money. On top of that the price of wings has doubled down there and once again the quality of the wings dont match the price. we had 3 19C orders and half the chicken was so hard we couldn't eat it. It has been 20 years since we ordered from here. I decided to try them again after all that time. I ordered 2 Sesame chicken plates, one General TOS's chicken plate and sweet and sour chicken plate, order of shrimp toast, and a order of cream cheese wantons. The total came up to $54.86. Got home and the food was so nasty we couldn't eat it. It's not fit for a dog to eat. Trashed it all and called dominos pizza. Never going there again. Save your time and money! read more

Ming Ming's food is such a relief! It's so hard to find good, enjoyable Chinese food and this place is a godsend. It is a little hole in the wall and I found out about it from word of mouth. I wish I lived closer. They offer ample portions for reasonable prices. What more could you ask for? Delicious food! General Tso is always my go to. I love that they offer options other than egg rolls for their combo plates (even though the egg rolls are yum!). I'll either get chicken wings or chow mein and they're all so nice your entire time there. It's such a welcoming environment. Go enjoy yourself some good food. read more

I'm writing this just after sampling some of the food from this place and before the food poisoning kicks in, so this is probably a generous one star. My wife and I drive by on our way to Augusta a couple times a week, so have been curious about this hole in the wall. That curiosity should have been left unsatisfied, however. We ordered takeout -- General Tso's, Sweet and Sour Chicken, egg rolls, and cheese wantons. They didn't have hot and sour soup, and I'm not sure if I should judge them for that or appreciate that that's one staple they couldn't ruin. The cheese wantons were fresh, but the positives end there. The General was bright orange and seemed to have been splashed with cayenne hot sauce rather than anything else. No ginger, no soy, no complexity. It was also old, the chicken mushy and the breading falling off. The sweet and sour was also old, the sauce on top long since congealed to an inedible mass. The egg rolls were wrapped with thick dough, the wrappers old and mushy and also clearly cooked in dirty oil, they were so dark with paltry cabbage filling. Not only was none of it appetizing, we couldn't even vouch for its safety to give our kids a shot at it. We nibbled for this review and then ordered from a better place in Aiken to try to forget this place. read more

This is a restaurant you want to go to to get takeout. The food is amazing but the ambience is about the same as an abandoned McDonald's. There's really nothing bad on the menu that I've ever had. We love Ming Ming!! This is the best Chinese food around. The almond chicken is the best. They fry a whole chicken breast and slice it up. It is out of this world. You cannot go wrong with the almond chicken. Everything is delicious. We had many of their dishes and they are all delicious. The chicken wings are superb. The soups are hot and yummy. I have been frequenting this restaurant for many years, the wait staff is friendly and down to earth, they remember individual customers and keep a rapport with my family. The food is very consistent, not the best, but unique from other chinese restaurants in the area. The service is fast, even when the place seems busy. Straight out nasty. It's a hole in the wall place I get it, but wow. My mother had chicken and broccoli and it wasn't horrible, but nothing to write home about. My almond chicken was horrid. It tasted like very old grease and was way over cooked covered in a congealed sauce. I ate my rice as it was good, but that's it. I had one bite of the chicken wing and that was it. I'm not a picky eater and never send anything back I just don't eat it. I've had some bad Chinese before, but nothing this bad ever. Avoid it!!!! read more
