Yes, there is a proper bar where a bartender will pour you a drink but again you line up and if it's busy you'll be waiting. There is a large refrigerator case of plastic take away and brown box grab and go small bites and wraps,etc but it feels somewhat like a 7-Eleven. It does not look super appetizing but I do concede that there are more take away options than upstairs which have no take out containers. I guess this is designed for non business class flyers who don't get or want the onboard food selection? It is new and the contemporary decor is a welcome change from the somewhat tired appearance of the main lounge, but it is a small cafe with a limited number of tables and seating (some at the bar). She did not leave a great first impression for this cafe prior to entering - thank goodness the cafe made up for it with it's comfort, variety and concept. When in Canada…read more.. While at the Toronto Airport I spotted Tim Hortons and there was always a line there the several times I walked by. Unlike the other eateries around the terminal I was in, Tim Hortons provided an affordable option, from more savory meals, which I was surprised to learn they had, to its famous donuts. I ordered just a sour cream old fashioned donut as a dessert/snack and I enjoyed it. The texture of the donut was moist, and at first I didn't know what to expect with the sour cream flavor; but I liked it. It had hints of a sour taste, but worked well with the glaze on the donut. For the best selection of donuts you have to get here early. I visited during the evening and they were out of most donuts and pastries. However, it's nice to know after visiting this location that they serve savory meals like chicken sandwiches with fries, in addition to what they're known for...just in case I get a long layover in Toronto again.
