The place was just OK. However, it was not a very recommendable destination. It has the whole fast food thing going for it with all the product merchandising and branding found in the store. The place is apparently a Dubai-based quick serve restaurant that has recently been slowly expanding its overseas presence. I would not count its signature product, the fried chicken, as one of the best ones available in the market. The skin is not one of the crunchiest or most flavorful. The white meat is not one of the most juiciest. I did appreciate that they have tandoori fries available as one of the sides. It is just regular french fries sprinkled with tandoori powder. Their crunchy meal pack available for $14.99 is a good go-to to be able to sample most of what they have to offer. The meal platter includes a chicken sandwich, a chicken piece, 2 sides, and a drink. Despite no single menu item standing out in terms of taste, it was still relatively good value price-wise.

This fried chicken restaurant is at their second location in the GTA with a grand opening on 2022-09-30. The chain started about 20 years ago in Dubai and has spread to many countries. During grand opening day, the first 100 got one drumstick and one biscuit. There are contests and prizes Their chicken is tender and delicious. There is no free WiFi but you can use the free WiFi from Ikkousha next door. There will be free WiFi very soon. There restaurant is wheelchair accessible. There are separate male/female washrooms in the basement (hence not wheelchair accessible). There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2022-112

    Chicken sandwich and fries!

I was pretty stoked when I walked by a brand new (I haven't been back in Toronto since 2019, so new to me) fast food place dedicated to chicken so of course I stopped what I was doing and headed on in. This place looks like a fast food place, but it was pretty nice and the menu hanging up was showing all the sides, nuggets, strips, and sandwiches a chicken lover could possibly want. I knew I was in the mood for a chicken sandwich so I went with the longer style sandwich with two pieces of chicken in it, almost kind of resembled the original chicken sandwich from Burger King with a side of French fries on the side. The staff was quick and the food was out in under three minutes while I grabbed a table. I gotta mention the French fries first as they were top notch to say the least. The fries were on the softer side but had great flavour to them. The chicken sandwich itself wasn't going to win any city awards but I sure did enjoy it for what it was. I would honestly rather eat a chicken sandwich from this place rather than McDonalds or Wendy's, but I would still probably go with Popeyes if it was an option. The sandwich was solid enough and I would definitely roll through again to try the fried chicken and some more sandwiches. Overall, I was a fan of this place and thought both the food and presentation was really good. This place was solid for a fast food alternative and gained a fan in me. Like chicken in Toronto? Give these guys a try!

Honestly . . . Skip it. The place is dirty. The staff could care less. She was on the phone the entire time she took my order and had zero clue what she was talking about. They advertise chicken that looks good. I asked for it and what came out were frozen Chicken nuggets you can get at the grocery store. The fries were legit just sitting out in the open and they served them to me. They were not the least bit warm. Barley ate any. The only redeeming thing was the chicken sandwich, the chicken was real and juicy and that was about it. The sauce was over powering. The bread was oddly grey. Beyond that this was a terrible experience and I truly think you would enjoy McDonalds more than this place.

Got the: - 3 Pcs Fried Chicken Spicy ($8.99) - Tandoori Fries Regular ($2.99) Overall, chicken was pretty decent - it was fresh and crispy. The tandoori fries are regular fries with some tandoori like seasoning powder sprinkled over it. The "Spicy" chicken is quite spicy. There are also daily specials for $5. I ordered online for pickup and the order did take a while - would recommend to order ahead if possible.

Well, this location is super busy so my advice avoid waiting in line and order in advance via their website. I was in line and I decided to order in line. It is a bit slow but definitely better than waiting in line. The quality of their food is consistent with their other branches and I gotta say that I loved every bite of it! Their fries are amazing. All in all I think it's the best place Downtown Toronto.

There are benches outside and counters where you can stand and eat, giving it a casual, quick-stop kind of vibe. It's also part market, so you can browse a selection of goodies while you're there. I tried the Antico Parma sandwich and it was delicious--definitely a spot I'd go out of my way for again. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area.

I got 3 sandwiches for me and my family (4 people including me). What we ordered: Mona Lisa: 8/10 For both of the sandwiches the bread was very fresh and delicious! They make them fresh for each order and you can taste the quality. The flavours in the Mona Lisa worked really well together, I loved the truffle cream and burrata. Torino: 7/10 This sandwich was also good, but the I felt like it was lacking something, especially compared to the mona lisa. The spicy eggplant just tasted like plain pickled eggplant and wasn't that spicy. I feel like both sandwiches were a bit salty due to the prosciutto, and were missing some sweet or acidic element. I added some balsamic glaze and hot honey at home which was great! The portion sizes are HUGE, the 4 of us were quite full after splitting the 3.

This small little bake shop had a menu hanging up, but I completely ignored it thanks to the baked goods right behind the counter that I was too busy staring at. I knew right away that I was going to order a Chocolate Croissant because, well, I always order a Chocolate Croissant if one is available. After making my first choice, this strange little baked good caught my eye, and it turned out to be something called a Cruffin.......a Cruffin you say? What is a cruffin? WELL, let me tell you. The cruffin is basically like a muffin, but like, with cheese and pepperoni on it so obviously I hate to order that sexy little bad boy right away. This thing wasn't big, but it was very dense and basically tasted like pizza crust which was absolutely delicious. After eating the cruffin, the Chocolate Croissant seemed way less cool but I ate it anyway. It tasted good and the chocolate was actually spread across the whole thing so they get an even bigger thumbs up for doing it right. Overall, COBS Bread was the spot! I had no idea this was a chain, but who cares, this place was great. I really liked the Cruffin I got and the croissant was really good as well. I will absolutely be revisiting COBS Bread when I come back to Canada and devouring a few more cruffins while I'm at it!

You can really feel the care and personality behind the space, which added so much to the overall visit. We tried a variety of items, but the Pizza Caesar Wrap was easily the standout and our favourite thing we ate. Crispy, cheesy, messy in the best way, and packed with flavour. Even better, $3 from every wrap goes toward supporting Daily Bread Food Bank through their $30,000 fundraising campaign, which made ordering it feel even more worthwhile. We also really enjoyed the Spicy Ham & Cheese, which had the perfect balance of spicy, creamy, salty, and savoury flavours. The Gourmet French Hot Dog was another highlight with its sweet and savoury flavour combination wrapped in a buttery, flaky croissant. The Four Seasons sandwiches were a fun concept inspired by the Blue Jays, and while the Chef's Choice wasn't our personal favourite, some people at our table enjoyed it more than we did. For dessert, all of the cookies were freshly baked in-house and surprisingly good for a grab-and-go style spot. The double chocolate chip was rich and soft, and the white chocolate cranberry and macadamia cookies were both solid classics. The iced matcha latte with oat milk paired especially well with them, and the iced vanilla latte was smooth and easy to drink. The space itself is bright and open with big windows that bring in lots of natural light during the day. Seating is cozy, but the layout still feels spacious and comfortable overall. Overall, a playful comfort food spot that offers catering with genuinely friendly service, creative menu items, and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to come back.

I agree that the price for a sandwich plus side salad is quite pricey ($13 including tax) but I like the fact that everything tastes fresh and light, and you have alot of options to customize your sandwich in a healthy way. I ordered the rosemary focaccia with chicken breast, arugula, avocado and chipotle spread plus their usual sprinkle of salt, pepper and squeeze of lime. It's like a gourmet sandwich - the bread was thick, soft with hints of rosemary and yummy. The salad was mostly arugula with carrots- this was very lightly seasoned but at least I won't be hit with itis going back to work! Definitely would come again, although not regularly since it's kinda pricey.

I'm going to continue with my overtime take out review series with Sandwich Box. You would think making a sandwich is probably not the most complicated task out there, but this place seems to get it all wrong. My order consisted of an egg salad sandwich on whole grain bread with a side salad. When I received it, I only got the sandwich and the restaurant failed to tell me the salad was no longer included in the combo (yet the price remained the same). That's great that the online menu was not updated to include items no longer available, a simple update would address all these problems knowmsayin? Now on to the actual sandwich, the bread was thick. I mean so thick it looked like there was about a half an inch of eggs inside of two encyclopedias worth of bread. The eggs themselves, totally flavorless and bland. Kinda hard to mess up an egg salad sandwich right? Even Tim Horton's can get that right! To make things short and sweet, I'll be looking over this option the next time I'm working late or considering a sandwich in the downtown area.
