This place is seriously a hidden gem! I was born and raised in the Bay Area and had access to all the different types of food from all cultures I could ever want. Fast forward and now I live in a place where there aren't many options. We stopped at this gas station on the way to Oregon to use the restroom and I saw the small Punjabi Dhaba in the corner. I picked up a couple samosas and they were divine! So much that on our way back from Oregon five days later we made sure to stop here for lunch. The second time we got two chicken wraps and four samosas. The food is delicious, has the perfect spice, and their chutneys are very flavorful. Located inside the travel fuel center. It's legit. Food is good. Pretty extensive menu. There are seats inside and outside. Carried out two times. The portion and quality for price are very good. Tiny little spot in Yreka, window located in truck stop. Since we live in OR and drive to CA often, this was an unexpected delight on our drive and really gave us another option to burger joints and fast food. We had the chicken tikka masala and the Dahl. It was great! We will be back! What would make it much better tho is if the tables were cleaned so that sitting down to eat a quick meal was more pleasant. This is definitely a hidden gem! I do DoorDash and have gotten multiple orders from here, they all smell absolutely delectable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Absolutely delicious. We stopped for truck stop takeout and ended up ordering FOR HERE. Tandoori chicken might be a whole chicken... seriously... my husband ate his full and still had enough for three more meals. I ordered the chicken tikka and YES! Absolutely perfectly spiced. It's carry out, so realized when we got home, oops, they didn't put the naan in for two orders. The assorted fried veggies were burnt. The chicken biryani was good but probably four bite size pieces of pollo in there...all in all, won't go back. I have come here a few times and food was good enough to come back however my last visit was pretty bad. I got there 10:30am and was informed that they could not make me mutter paneer because it was not yet 11 o'clock. I was informed I need to order breakfast food just made me excited. I asked for a dosa. I was informed that they don't make that breakfast dish the man working suggested I get a roadie I've never had one before and asked if it was gluten free and he said yes it was so I agreed to order it when it came 20 min later I was surprised to get a flat bread made of wheat.... not gluten feee at all . My husband and I have come here for years and we recently had a horrible experience. We ordered the Matar Paneer, Butter Chicken, and some extra garlic Naan. He went to pick it up, noticed the Matar Paneer was missing but we in fact paid around 35ish for everything so he went back in and they REFUSED to do anything about it. We hadn't even left the parking lot. I am astounded, it was more than an easy thing to fix what we already paid for. I have always recommended this place and no longer will I do so. Excellent Indian food at the truck stop food court. I ordered the tandoori chicken tikka masala and OMG it's so good. Took a little time to get my order because all the truckers call their order in before they stop so they were busy. So worth the wait.
