My daughter and husband don't really like Thai food, but both of them are always willing to go to Nathalee's with me. They are super accommodating to allergies and the vegetarian diet. The staff is friendly and hard working. The peanut sauce is delicious so I always get the fresh rolls while our older kid gets egg rolls. We all love the Thai basil rice and the yellow curry is solid. read more

I didn't take any pictures, but I would refer to the food as cafeteria food or maybe cruise ship buffet. The food was very bland. They are definitely cooking for a certain crowd ( tourist ) My 86 year old mother in law loved it....service was excellent and all the servers were very nice! If you are a Thai food connoisseur this isn't the place for you. read more

The service was perfect! Friendly and attentive. The meal came quick and piping hot. I tried the Natalee noodles because it's named after the restaurant, so it must be a signature dish. Basically, it's their version of Pad Thai. It was really good and fresh. The peanut sauce had a strong coconut flavor, much stronger than I'm used to, but it was delicious. It was also really sweet which I'm not used to as well but again, delicious. If you like a good, sweet Pad Thai, this is the place to go! read more

Excellent all around! We were visiting for business and received a referral to this restaurant. The dining room was very well kept. The decor was nice and everything was very clean. We were greeted and seated right away. The seating was nice as well. We love spring rolls and ordered them. They came out very fast. They were so good! They also serve many sauces on the plate as well as 4 more on the table. My husband ordered the Pad Thai, I ordered the orange chicken, and our daughter ordered the chicken chow mein. I'm not over exaggerating when I tell you that the orange chicken was so delicious with a lightly breaded and fried crispy outside. Their ingredients are top notch. All of our dishes had very large helpings. There was enough on each of our plates left over for another meal. The service was also impeccable and our drinks never were empty. The food also came right out and I think we may have been in and out in 30 minutes, fed, and on our way back to the hotel. My husband and I agree this might be one of the best Thai places we have ever been to. This wonderful food, and the helpings are priced great for a dinner out. We are willing to pay more for better ingredients. Visit this place if you're passing through. It seems like the locals already know it's a gem. read more

My brother, my nephew and I just finished a whitewater kayaking and camping trip along the Klamath River. On our way back to civilization we stopped by Natalee Thai based on other reviews and our love of Thai Food. Natalee's was exceptional!! Food, service, atmosphere and hospitality were the best. Paige, our server, was super nice and projected genuine positive vibes. Overall one of the best Thai restaurants I've ever been to. And to find this in Yreka, truly a golden nugget fitting to the gold rush heritage!!! read more

Their new location is much nicer and the food seems even better too. I went in for a to go order and had my food in less than 20 minutes. I ordered crab fried rice and it is real crab in it and very delicious. Also had the duck curry which was amazing. Chicken satay also great and Pad See Mao which was a perfect balance of flavor and not too sweet or greasy. On another visit eating in the restaurant we tried spicy duck which was our absolute favorite. Also had the wonton soup once and the vegetable soup another time. The decor in the new location is fun and it feels like you're visiting another world when you're inside. For fast friendly dining right off the freeway you really can't do better anywhere between the grapevine and the Oregon border. read more

Very good spot. Stayed in the hotel next to the restaurant. I had heard the food was good so I ordered take out. When I picked up my order my first impression was that this place is cherry clean. Simple decor but very tasteful. I was immediately impressed. Upon returning to my room I enjoyed all freshly prepared dishes and every dish did not disappoint. If you're staying in Yreka or just passing through.... Try this place. It's not cheap but it sure was good!!! Definitely dining here again on my next trip to see the grand babies!!! read more

My favorite restaurant in Yreka. Kinda expensive but so, so good. I love taking my daughters here. I particularly recommend their mango curry and the shrimp fresh rolls are especially good when its hot and you want something refreshing. It's excellent every time I've had it! Delicious. I just polished off an order of "egg rolls" (called spring rolls in the Bay Area) and green curry with chicken. Very tasty. I ordered medium spicy and got what I'd consider 2 out of 10 on the spicy scale. read more

A delightful surprise. We were looking for food while road-tripping, and wandered into this place because even bad Thai food is usually okay. Our food arrived startlingly fast (a good thing, as we were trying to make as much mileage as we could in one day), and was absolutely delicious - the basil stir fry with ground pork was perfectly cooked (vegetables crisp but not hard, seasoning complex and medium-spicy as I requested). As a respite from convenience store coffee and drive-through cuisine, it couldn't hav been nicer read more

I eat here all the time and usually love it but this time I specified I wanted lots of Thai flavor in whatever I ordered. Waitress went and talked with the chef recommending the Natalie noodles. It's super bland and very very sugary. No offer was made for refund or replacement just brought me some hot sauce. I'm giving them four stars anyway because it's usually a great place to eat. Just don't order those Natalie noodles unless sugar is what you're looking for. read more

Maybe this is the best Thai restaurant in Yreka since choices are limited here. Drove into this town for dinner on our way home. It's like there is nothing here. It's cold outside and believe this would be the best option since none of us wants burger. Ordered the spring roll which had cream cheese in it and yes that was hot and delicious. I got the red curry chicken. Well I told the server to make it mild and her response was we can't make it mild it can be less spicy. Not sure what's the difference so thinking it's the same, I went ahead. I have to say the red curry was super spicy for me. . It burned. This is a genuine Thai place with Thai people in the kitchen and Thai music in the background. The food is a bit pricy compared to Thai restaurants elsewhere but again less competitor in the area. Also please not the restaurant is quite cold. It is big with lots of seats and it's not that busy. I don't think I will return. read more

After many hours of driving I was excited for a Thai dinner. We ordered the Pad See ew, Stir Fried Garlic with Tofu, and a side of vegetables. The food was fine - but extremely bland. When I eat Thai food, the LAST thing I expect is bland. The Pad See ew was made with noodles a little wider than fettucini, not the extra wide (which isn't a big deal), but it was a little soupy (it should be on the dry side) and there was no char flavor from frying the noodles and dark soy sauce .... and this is a key flavor for Pad See ew. Generally, it just tasted like noodles with a little watery sauce. The Stir Fried Garlic and tofu was just stir fried veggies and tofu over rice with a watered down soy flavor. The side of veggies was simply steamed veggies; the lady said she would put some salt and pepper and soy sauce on them for me, but I didn't taste anything and there was no brown color of soy sauce. In general, the veggies in our meals were fresh and good and the quantity was fine ..... just overall lacking flavor and very disappointing if you're looking for Thai. read more

The first dish, the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, was a mixed experience. The sticky rice was soft and delicious, just like homemade. However, the pork belly didn't seem very fresh. It had an unpleasant smell, almost like the meat was starting to spoil. Next were the drunken noodles. The flat noodles were rubbery and tasted like they had been left out too long and had dried out. The zucchini was bitter, and the only part of the dish that tasted good was the carrot. The last dish was the fish with tomato sauce and jasmine rice. The jasmine rice had a slight brown tint instead of the bright white color you would expect from freshly cooked rice. It looked and smelled like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for far too long. On a positive note, the fish itself was the best part of the entire meal. It was flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, the outstanding customer service wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing food quality. Based on this experience, I probably won't be returning.

We just happen to stay the night in Yreka. I have good taste for Thai for about three weeks so we went in the places Prairie charming, but people are great and I ordered papaya salad and I ordered it Laos style it was delicious one of the best I've had in a long time my wife had a fried rice and she loved it and generally, she doesn't really like a lot of fried rice but she totally enjoyed this one. I also had the fried basil and ground pork. I recommend we always get the spice containers. I ordered mine at a three. I could've ordered it before or more. Love this place. We had a wonderful experience at Natalee Thai in Yreka! The food was absolutely delicious--full of fresh flavors and perfectly prepared. You can really tell care goes into every dish. I've had a fairly broad selection of the food served here and I have enjoyed almost everything very much. The orange chicken is outstanding. Take-out may be the best bet as the ambiance really kind of sucks. We ordered the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, drunken noodles, and the fish with tomato sauce served with jasmine rice. The first dish, the crispy pork belly with sticky rice, was a mixed experience. The sticky rice was soft and delicious, just like homemade. However, the pork belly didn't seem very fresh. It had an unpleasant smell, almost like the meat was starting to spoil. Next were the drunken noodles. The flat noodles were rubbery and tasted like they had been left out too long and had dried out. The zucchini was bitter, and the only part of the dish that tasted good was the carrot. The last dish was the fish with tomato sauce and jasmine rice. The jasmine rice had a slight brown tint instead of the bright white color you would expect from freshly cooked rice. It looked and smelled like it had been sitting in the rice cooker for far too long. On a positive note, the fish itself was the best part of the entire meal. It was flavorful and enjoyable. Overall, the outstanding customer service wasn't enough to make up for the disappointing food quality. Based on this experience, I probably won't be returning.
