We hired DJ Kirk for our wedding reception and were on the dance floor for the entire time ! He did a great job mixing both Indian and Western music into a playlist for us. The songs just kept coming and the entire party was having a blast for 4-5 hours. We had provided a list of songs that we wanted to have played, and he got the vibe from that list and included a great collection of artists - old and new. I sent over a list of the music for my ceremony, then a list for cocktail hour, special dances, and then reception music. Everything transitioned perfectly. Despite many requests from my guests, he stuck to our music list, I had asked him to do so, my husband and I were very pleased. We also had a very cultural wedding and he did a great job mixing our reception music with up to date songs along with some punjabi music and also some island reggae! These guys did an amazing job! My brother had, what you would call a fusion wedding. We are Indian, bride's family American, and Punjabi Virsa did an amazing job at mixing up the music so both sides enjoyed. They played everything we requested, and the dance floor was never empty. In 2010, we hired DJ Kirk for one of my wedding functions. He exceeded my expectations. His best quality, in my opinion, is his intuition. He was quick to pick up on the type of music that got us hyped up and had us on the dance floor all night long. We hired him again for my sister's wedding last year and once again he quickly tuned in on what type of music the crowd preferred. I noticed that there weren't too many people running to him with requests because he was already playing the music we all enjoyed. I was first interested in DJ Kirk because I loved reading his story about how he became interested in his work, and my husband and I wanted to choose local vendors who were truly passionate about the work that they did. I filled out an e-mail form on his website, and he got back to me the same day. After talking about what we wanted, he sent me a quote and a contract. He was very polite and kind about answering our questions and addressing our concerns. We were having an outdoor ceremony, and indoor reception, and he provided music for the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, and during the reception. In addition, we ordered a gobo light from him with our names on it for the reception hall, and used his photo booth services for about three hours during the reception. Between the times that we put the deposit down to secure his services, to the last hour of the reception, DJ Kirk made sure everything ran smoothly. He checked in with us, well in advance, about which template and designs we wanted for our gobo light and photo booth backdrop. I provided him a list of songs that I wanted for the bridal party processional, when I walked down the aisle, and the recessional, and he got it all perfectly; we spoke in person a few days before the wedding making sure things were squared away. In addition, he connected with my officiant before the ceremony to ensure that he had a microphone for the ceremony. During the reception, Kirk also provided a microphone stand for my friend who was singing the song for our first dance and playing acoustic guitar. Furthermore, it made me so happy to hear the songs I requested (often not heard at Indian receptions) by jazz greats Louis Armstrong. Ella Fitzgerald, and Frank Sinatra being played along with more contemporary artists during the dinner hour. DJ Kirk did an amazing job mixing Indian music with the Top 40 hits, while throwing in a few slow songs to please the crowd. I hope to hire him again for future events! read more

I contacted this DJ for my sisters wedding and he was exceptional to say the least. At first I was skeptical since I had never worked with this group or heard of them but decided to give it a go since he was giving a reasonable price. His music selection was perfect for every moment and he was very easy and enjoyable to work with. We had quite a few requirements for the DJ and he met those requirements without any hesitation.
