Just picked up my pitbull/beagle Moxie. She looks so good. I've never taken her to the groomers before and I figured she would be scared when I came to pick her up but she was so happy. Her coat is so soft and smells great. Her ears are spotless and nails are perfect. For it being so cheap I didn't know of what to expect, I am most definitely satisfied with the work they did there. And to top it off I got 10% off my next appointment since I scheduled right then and there. I highly recommend this facility. read more

Giving a 1 star since a 0 is not an option. Called yesterday asking about pricing for nail trims for my 2 dogs. When told that it is $10 per dog (which is pretty steep compared to what I'm used to) I asked why they charge so much. The girl laughed and said she thought that was pretty reasonable. I said $10 was pretty high considering it only takes about 30 seconds to do a nail trim. She quickly changed her tone and snapped back at me with "Well you don't have to come then". I didn't even respond and just hung up the phone. If this business doesn't even care if they have any business, then why should I? I think I'll stick with The Dog Wash in Minooka from now on. At least those ladies are actually nice and professional. read more

My first two experiences here a long time ago were pleasant. I thought that'd be the standard, but I guess it was the exception. Normally I hate speaking negatively after only one bad experience, but not when it comes to my dog. Today, I took him in and asked if I can get a trim. I didn't even see who the woman is this time cause she was huffing and yelling at me from around the corner that they didn't have time for me. The situation (being busy) is all well and good. The tone and reaction, not a chance. All in all for the best I guess. Groomers with no ability to manage stress = one freaked out dog. Wouldn't want them handling my dog while that stressed out anyways. read more

This place is NEVER open when they say they are. They do not answer phones whatsoever. They are not physically present when they say they are. They are rude. Especially one woman in particular. I have gotten my dogs into the car and driven them over 3 times now and it's closed......It's a shame that this all happened, because I will never be coming back and I will be telling EVERYONE I know NOT to go there for their dogs. Mature adults are honest about their hours of operation and are actually present when they say they will be. Horribly disappointed. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

I have been bringing my Rhodesian Ridgeback mix named Sam to Puppy Cuts for over two years and I am very pleased with the service.

I've been taking my dog here for awhile and my dog before that and have not had a problem until now. When I picked her up she wasn't her usual happy self. I didn't give it to much thought but later that evening I looked at her close and in the corner of her eye was a gash and a flap of skin I was so upset and my dog was clearly in pain. Owner who is the groomer did a excellent job of concealing this when I picked her up. She said nothing to me. That is really upsetting. Just tell me the truth you would have had a better chance of me returning. you cut my dog why would you not tell me! I will never return and I will tell everybody. read more

Zero Stars after the customer service I had today! I went in to get my dogs nails cut as I always do, wasn't greeted with a hi hello or anything. Was told I can't do nails I'm too busy right now I'm the only one here. When I responded with really? Her response was "go somewhere else, I really don't care." I was so floored at the ignorance I left and I won't be back. Wondering if she's ever heard of customer service, maybe start out with a hi, how are you, thanks for coming in but I'm swamped, can we reschedule this for another time. Not go somewhere else, I really don't care. So I went to another local place in town where I was treated like a customer. I'll never step foot in puppy cuts again! read more

Unfortunately, I will have to only give two stars. The times that my dog was groomed within the last year, she looked amazing and the workers were extremely nice! However, one day I showed up for an appointment I made a month in advance and no one showed up to open. Finally 2 hours later someone came in and said "there was a family emergency". Understandable. However, a phone call should've been made to all appointments that day letting them know of the problem. I stopped going after that experience only for the fact that I worked from home the day I was stood up and refuse to take my time away from work if I am going to be stood up again. My family continued going there and since then have also been stood up roughly 4 times now within the last 6 months without any notice or warning. A free groom or bath was not offered as a solution either. It's sad that I have to now find a new place due to the fact that you cannot rely on anyone showing up to open the salon. Hopefully, this issue will be fixed so no one in the future has to deal with the unprofessional conduct. read more

My wife has been taking our dog here for years approx.. 8 years however, today was the last time. I would really like to give this place minis 5 stars. Regularly like clockwork every 6 weeks, a standing appointment. Well they take appointments and our appointment was for 10AM. Well it hit 3PM in the afternoon and still know word so I called to find out what the problem was and was told still half hour which means 5 1/2 hours. I asked how long does it take to get done with what our dog gets done and they couldn't or wouldn't give me an answer. I said we had a 10AM appointment but they told me appointments don't mean anything. Taking our dog to a groomer is stressful enough with out having to be there 5 1/2 hours. They didn't care about what I had asked they simply said another 1/2 hour and hung up on me. The person that runs this place does NOT care one bit about the customers, I wonder what kind of care she is giving our dog. I will NEVER go back to this place or ever recommend this place ever, even though it is convenient. I really don't see how she stays in business. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE service. Absolutely no regard for customers. read more
