I found Stacy's Dog Grooming on Google Reviews, but wanted to post my feedback here as well. I brought my recently adopted 10 year old female terrier in for a much needed trim. I gave the staff very minimal guidance because I really didn't know what would be best. The staff were receptive and completely understanding. I felt like I was in great hands to be honest. What I thought would be an all day wait turned out to be only a couple of hours, if that! My dog was trimmed, shampooed, and had her nails clipped. It was a VERY easy experience! Will be coming back on the regular now. It's cash or check only which was a little bit of an inconvenience. Only because I had to dig out my check book and dust it off. read more

What an absolute communication nightmare!! I've been trying to get my dog in for grooming since October. No luck. It's February. The reason why is because I was just told that he is "temperamental " and they have to perform "extra work" on him. Fine. No problem. I took my Miniature Schnauzer pup here since he has all of his vaccines. Maybe about 6 months old. We had several visits and never were told there were any problems or issues with his behavior. Around the 4-5 visit we got a random call telling us to come get our dog because he was being aggressive with the groomer and clawing at her. I explained to the woman that we had never experienced issues with our dog. She said it was noted that he was muzzled and was previously aggressive- This was not made known to me or my husband. They also told us to come get him and left him half groomed and banned him all of a sudden. I wish they would have told me that there were grooming issues with my puppy so we could have been corrective and preventative. Maybe he could of got better per visit. read more

Service is not like it use to be! Half groomed dogs and an increase in price plus a tip is not good business. Had I known they looked this bad when my daughter picked them up I would NOT have had her tip so well! We've decided to purchase grooming tools after this last grooming last Monday and clean up our dogs ourselves. This is not the first time we picked them up and they looked half groomed. After coivd my groomer who usually grooms my 2 small dogs stopped grooming . Both my small dogs needed grooming bad! I contacted Stacy's after hearing amazing things about them, when I called they gave me a price of 55 for each. I brought both my dogs in. When I picked them up they charged me 65 each. One of my dogs they couldn't cut his nails because he was just not having it. ( never had an issue at the other groomers) my second dog had a few little cuts behide his ears, or so I thought. As the days went on he started to lick his tail. I looked at the at the spot and there was a cut. We tried my different things to keep him from licking. In a weeks time the tail starts to loose hair and started to bleed. It was so bad there was blood everywhere. I took my 3 year dog to the vet, I was told his tail would need to be surgically cut. He also notice a small cut in his pad. I came home and called Stacy. She only said she was there with my dog and nothing happen, no apology or anything. She also told me I shouldn't have let my dogs get this bad. I told her there was nothing I could do as the groomers where closed for the past 3 months. I send her a photo of the tail. She gave me her cell I sent the photo. Her response was oh that's just happy tail and she would call the vet they don't need to remove it. I brought this up to my vet he said this is not happy tail. My poor dog has had to have 2 Surgeries. Stacy never even offered to help with the medical bills. read more

When I went to pick them up they charged me $65 per dog, but didn't explain why it was more than I was quoted on the phone. Also, they did not grind my dogs' nails for this price. Don't bring your dog here if they have even a little anxiety unless you want to pay for full service and only get a bath out of it. They couldn't fully groom our dogs because they supposedly bit them even though they had a muzzle on? Lauren was FANTASTIC! Stacy's is very clean, open, and uses great products. Our dogs have very high anxiety and Lauren was patient and kind to them. She was very accommodating and got us an early appointment, so are dogs wouldn't stress out with other dogs. Lauren takes her time to ensure the dogs receive everything they need and was never rushing to get done. I also get scared of groomers treating my dogs poorly and she treats them like her own. We've taken our 2 dogs (Yorkies) to Stacy's grooming for sometime. I use to be very happy with their service. But as of late 2020 the service that we received has been horrible. Our dogs have been trimmed and cut in some areas and super long in other areas. Not to mention the price increase (which I understand) $65 plus tip per dog, but the service is worse than it's even been ((2/7/22). I told my daughter I was going to call and complain, but her point was well taken. Why complain, what will they do about it?! We decided to order a grooming table and tools and cleaned up both of our little guys. Now we are the sole groomers of two handsome yorkies for a much cheaper price and better service! Thank you Stacy's Grooming for such disappointing service. You're now saving us a lot more money. One of our yorkie's has some anxiety and I must tell you with two of us helping out cleaning him up from a horrible $65 plus tip job on 2/7/22 grooming looks pretty damn handsome now. Megan did a great job bathing our dog who came back smelling and looking like the well kept pooch she is. I was very impressed with how short and smooth she was able to Dremel her nails. I especially liked that the 'holding' kennels are in the front which makes the whole experience easier on those anxiety prone pups! read more

I made a 12:00 appointment at Stacy's Dog Grooming in Shorewood with Megan to have my dog groomed and when I dropped her off at noon they said she will be done by 2:30. I advised them not to use a dremel on her nails as she does not do well with the dremel. I arrived at 2:15 to pick up my dog and she was in the cage shaking and at that time I could tell she was not groomed. They advised me that they could not groom her because she was too upset. In the two and a half hours my dog was there they never reached out to me to let me know that they could not groom her and kept her shaking in the cage until I arrived. Now mind you I have a 6 year 4.5 lb Yorkie and she has been going to a groomer since she has been born. I decided to try this groomer since it is much closer to my home but when I read the reviews online I should've know that they were most from friends and family. They used the dremel on my dog first after they were told not too They also claimed the washed her see attached photos . They have been going to Stacys for a long time, and I have never been disappointed. Excellent grooming, as they are groomed in the open(not in the back) so you can always see your babies!
