Raymund is a fantastic groomer, and has taken care of my two poms for over 2 years now. Raymund is extremely hard working and does so himself so I'm very glad anytime I ask him to take in my guys he makes time for them. Both of my dogs can be a handful when I'm not around particularly one of them is very touchy about his hair that's constantly getting tangled, and Raymund has always returned them to me hair ball free!

I've had many dogs and tried several different groomers in the city. Raymond is at the top of his game, and by far the best you'll find. He's wonderful with my little Shih-Tzu, and she loves him to death. She fusses whenever I try and brush her hair, but let's him do it with no problem. He listens to his clients needs and follows through with awesome haircuts. He gets booked up quick, so I make my appointment weeks in advance. Look no further than Pups and Tubs because you won't be disappointed.

We take both of our furbabies, Moo and Groot, here. Raymond is unbelievably wonderful. Moo started with Raymond at just 6 months old and Raymond made sure to take his time with Moo's grooming. Puppies are really sensitive to grooming procedures and Raymond made sure to give him breaks in between so that he felt comfortable through the entire process. I consider a visit to Raymond has an excuse for the pups to get socialized and hang out with the other dogs there for grooming appointments. You know what's amazing is that Moo is always VERY excited to see Raymond. His tail is always wagging as soon as we get to the shop. Raymond treats Moo like he's his own dog and always sends me progress photos to let me know how the appointment is going. Groot is our second baby, he's 4 months old now. Raymond started him off with a mini groom just to get him used to the routine. It's really unbelievable how great he is with our pups. By the way, Raymond is not only our go-to groomer but he also is the go-to groomer for two of my coworkers, who have two precious babies of various sizes. One last comment, Raymond is a very real, caring groomer. He will let you know if you should be doing daily grooming for your dog (brushing, detangling, cleaning ears, etc.). He genuinely cares about the health of your dog and wants your dog to be a happy creature. Again, I'm going to repeat... his job is to care for your dog. If he gives you feedback about how to better take care of your dog through daily techniques, take his advice. After all, this business is his career (aka he is a professional groomer).

Hank's quarantine hair was getting out of control, so I decided to begin my search for local groomers. I came across Pups and Tubs and reached out to Raymond to book an appointment. Raymond was very professional, made the process easy, gave helpful advice since Hank is my first rescue puppy, and above all made Hank look and feel great. I highly recommend Raymond and look forward to the next appt (Hank does too)!

Ollie after being groomed by Raymund--he always comes home with a cute bandanna!

I consulted these reviews when deciding to take my little Havanese, Ollie, to Raymund for grooming. My experience has been as wonderful as the others noted here. What him apart from the others is the very thorough job he does--I was impressed that during my dog's first appointment, Raymund called me to tell me about a few things that, if left unchecked/not groomed properly, could present some issues. (He's aware of this not only given his experience in dog grooming, but also from his prior experience as a vet tech.) The fact that he made the call and his attention to detail sold me, along with the fact that he is so good to his clients (both human and canine). I highly recommend him!

We've been taking our Goldens to Raymond for years. He takes great care of them and provides full service grooming needs. He is super thorough to make sure we are educated and have happy groomed fur babies!!

Raymond is the best! I have been searching for a groomer that loves my little 14lb, 12 year old, blind poodle as much as I do. Trini, my baby, is given the best attention during her visits to Pups and Tubs. It's so easy to book an appointment, Raymond responds quickly and gives frequent updates with pictures. I feel safe going to Pups and Tubs, clients are given specific drop off and pick up times, clients are required to wear mask and drop off in the front.

Raymond is simply the best!! It was so hard to find a groomer in Atlanta that groomed Cavaliers properly and he really knew his stuff. He treated little Lady like a queen and gave her an amazing trim and even did an anal gland extraction. When I came to pick her up she was chilling on the couch with a new friend, a large bone and little bows in her hair. He truly outdid himself and he definitely has some new loyal customers. He gave such great advice on caring for her in between sessions.

If you are looking for dog groomer in Atlanta, Raymund is the one!!!! I've been bringing mochi(German shepherd) to see him about 8 months already. He understands the breed and know how to handle her. I tried to bath her once when we were in quarantine time and it was a mess. It's well worth every penny and Mochi always happy when I go pick her up after finishing bathing!!

We take our two 55 lb golden retrievers to Raymond and he does an AMAZING job. I searched high and low for a groomer for golden retrievers in Atlanta because I had heard horror stories of groomers shaving goldens, which is terrible for their coat. When I found Raymond, I was so relieved to hear his grooming style on goldens - a good trim while keeping the natural wave in their coat. Our pups smell and look beautiful every time they leave Raymond's shop!

Oh my goodness one of the best, if not THE best, groomer I've been able to find for my pooches. I'm so picky and particular and it helps when your fur babies actually like their groomer. My boys love Raymond so much and he's so good with them. His work goes beyond grooming but he lets me know if he notices any skin changes or potential issues too. Just amazing services. I always recommend Pups and Tubs!

Riley (a dog who hates water and would tremble at a home bath or other groomer) LOVES Raymond!! So thankful we found him :)

Bringing your dog to Pups and Tubs is not only a treat for them, but one of the best people in town to trust your fur child with! Our Riley - a mostly Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (dog that sheds all year round / never loses their undercoat) - HATES water, home baths, groomers, etc. and has anxiety around loud noises and water (poor pup trembles :( ). After trying to care for her at home (that was NOT happening thanks to all that hair!), and trying some other local groomers, we were super blessed to find Pups and Tubs / Raymond. She went from fearing the groomer to LOVING her time at Pups and Tubs!! She fully trusts Raymond and loves her times with the other, very well cared for, doggies. My husband and I are so thankful we found Pups and Tubs - we trust Raymond with what we consider our first born child :) If it tells you our commitment, we know this level of service and care for animals is rare so we happily drive from the Westside through midtown traffic every 6 weeks for Riley's visits - he is so worth it!!!

Happy Luma after her cut (happy me, too)
    Emily H.

I am very happy with Luma's, my golden retriever, hair cut. Raymond did an excellent job. The last cut we had on her ended up in a full-body shave leaving a fluffy squirrel tail (I won't name the place that did that to her....but it's a midtown joint that no longer has a good groomer). Raymond gave me tips for when we bathe her and how to treat her coat between grooms. That was a first for me. Raymond's place is great, too. He has an open space for the dogs to relax between and after their cuts. Luma was very happy being in the open space rather than in a crate. We will definitely be going back to him. Very pleased.

To keep my furby fresh and clean between visits I've decided to go to the self-service dog wash now owned and managed by Fur Side. Automated scheduling was easy as pie. Showed up for my appointment and Mary greeted me at the door in PPE. Raised tubs with sprayer mean you don't have to bend over to bath your pooch. There are plastic aprons to keep you dry as possible. The shampoo and conditioner is great and complimentary, along with ear wash. Although I bought my own brushes, there are brushes available for use. Bring your own towels now. It's a safety thing. All in all a great bath away from home. I'll end with this. My Beauregard was freaking out with the sound and feel of the high powered dryer. He dang near killed himself trying to get away from it and I was going to have to leave with a wet poodle. Mary showed absolute mercy and stepped in to help me. I'm not experienced in bathing Beauregard myself so I was not what he wanted or expected. Mary advised and showed me the best way to dry my pooch and make the experience enjoyable for both of us. She gave of her time and herself and we are eternally thankful. P.S. I already had a full service groom scheduled for a future date. This will be Beauregard's first visit to Fur Side.. I'm even happier about this now.

There must have been some technology clitch and I never got the SMS saying my dog was ready. They finally called me to pick her up. Instead of believing me when I told them I hadnt gotten their texts (although I showed them my phone) they proceeded to charge me the penalty of a dollar for every minute past the grace period. I am not complaining about paying the penalty (I am fully aware it exists and understand why businesses need these policies). I am furious that they are unwilling to recognize there was a glitch and decided to not rely on my word, not trust the phone when I showed them I hadnt gotten their texts and disregards our history, and waive the penalty. An appt that usually costs around 80 plus tax and tip, today costs $194 without including tip!!!!!!! Here go the details if you are interested. When I dropped my dog off I was told I would be notified 30 min before she was ready and that it should take approximately 1 and a half hours to cut her hair. In the past I had shown up at the time I had been told when I dropped her off (although I hadnt gotten the text) and she hadnt been ready. Therefore I began to rely on the texts before going to pickup. Usually this was fine except for one occasion. I was told she would be ready around 4:30. Then I was texted that it was taking longer. We went back and forth and I finally decided to go and stand there at 7:30 pm and insisted on getting my dog. She was still wet. Although I never got an apology or a discount for the poor service, given the long relationship, I took my dog in today. Today I didnt het their texts. There must have been some sort of glitch. Given I wasnt responding to the texts they said they had sent me they finally called me 2.5 hours passed the time they told me she should be ready. I told them I hadnt gotten the text and they proceeded to tell me I should have shown up at the time they had given me upon drop off. Upon arrival I showed them I hadnt gotten their text. Then they told me I should have picked her up at the time I was given and shouldnt have waited for the text. I told them about my experiences in the past when I had shown up at the approximate times I was told, and the time I waited 4 hours and still got a wet dog. Anyways, my dog is fine, and has a great hair cut as always. When I get into the car, their texts started coming through. They told me they had charged my credit card 194 dollars. I was surprised that although I had shown them that I hadnt gottern their texts, they still charged me their penalty. No regard for hour history, and no recognizition of their previous mistakes that I had not complained about. They continue to fight with me over text. See pictures.
