This place is absolutely darling. The owners take such good care of this space and put a lot into it to make it feel magical and unique. I didn't feel like I was eating at a food truck, it felt so cozy! Also, me and my boyfriend got all of this and a coke for only $30! Food was great and honestly was pretty fast. Was soo excited to try this place out as I had seen so many videos of people saying it was soo good. I was very disappointed they had more masa then filling, they were also flavorless. I'm not sure if they only make them look good for the food influencers because mine didn't stretch out with the cheese at all. I'll give them the hype for their agua de frutas. read more

The reason for 2 stars is because the pupusas are super thin. There is probably a tablespoon of filling in the pupusa. For $5.50 they should be a little thicker. The flavor is good but I definitely feel robbed for what I paid. $19 for a combo plate and super thin pupusas is robbery. Adjust your prices to reflect what you're selling. read more

Pupuseria Garcia- Modesto, Ca The Wifee and I were passing through Modesto and was in the mood for Salvadoran pupusas. I found this spot through a Google search. We ordered pork and cheese pupusas, rebueltas pupusas, cheese pupusas, platanos crema frijol and yuca con chicharron. Everything we ordered was delicious, perfect amount of salt, flavorful and fresh. The ladies definitely make authentic Salvadoran style food, the curtido, salsa roja complemented everything. The only thing they did not have was Salvadoran tamales, but they did say they will be making some soon and they would let us know so that we can get our dozen. Definitely a hidden gem in the town of Modesto and I will definitely be returning. The surrounding area can be a little rougher for some people and the roads are very busy. Delicious! Small parking lot, if full park on the street. They have about 5 tables for people to sit at under an awning so it is very cute and shady. The lady at the window was very nice and speaks English as well as Spanish. Small menu, mostly pupusas, tacos and plates I had pupusas (of course) I had 1 spinach and 1 zucchini. Comes with curtido and salsa. They were so delicious. My husband ordered a plate with casamiento and platanos. And of course pupusas. We also had an ensalada de fruta $35 in total and food came out pretty quick for pupusas Great service and great food. read more

My wife, daughter and I ordered the revuelta, queso con frijol, queso con loroco, and queso con hongo pupusas and they were all bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of masa and filling. Ooh, that's good! Way more flavor than your standard pupusa. The tacos were really good, the casamiento was full of flavor, and the huarache was excellent, but the pupusas really stole the show. Drizzled with hot sauce, some slaw, and a little crema, I had a hard time putting them down. I am not a huge fan of zucchini, but the calabazas pupusa was probably my favorite by a slim margin - the flavor just mixes perfectly. The espinaca was my second favorite. All of them were absolutely gourmet delicious, though. These are nice sized pupusas, too. I could have probably stopped at two for dinner and not been hungry again until tomorrow morning. read more

My husband and I LOVE this place! Clean, well lit and the pupusas are AMAZING...especially the pork/cheese. My Norwegian husband is in love with the red salsa...the hotter the better in his opinion. Excellent! First time I have had Salvadoran Pupusas. They are really good. They make several different kinds and we have had the Adams, pork and chicken. One pupusa makes a good breakfast but we usually buy several and heat the up in the microwave The black beans are a perfect inside to any of their dishes. The street tacos were genuine with the asada being my favorite ut my work from really liked the chicken. They are located on Paradise road so the shaded doesn't Ning patio is pretty loud with train noise. read more
