Now, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the long wait. My order took over two hours to make. The line was long and each customer ordered multiple dinners, so I was more than understanding about the wait. But, I am sure you can imagine that I had extremely high expectations expectations for the food. Well, the food was most definitely worth the wait! The wings were HUGE, but cooked perfectly. The side were also delicious. The soulful-rito was a tastefully clever twist on soul food. What made the food even better was the awesome customer service that it was served with. This restaurant is known for their waffles, obviously lol. Their menu features over 15 different waffle flavors. I ordered the cinnamon sugar waffle and my friend ordered the bacon egg and cheese waffle. I enjoyed my waffle. It was fluffy and not overly sweet. My only distaste was that some melted butter would complete the palette. My friend did not enjoy his order. He said that the waffle became soggy from the cheese and the grease from the bacon. The waffle is a bit doughier than the traditional Belgian waffle cousin but it had a really nice crunch on the edges. I'm a huge fan of texture so this was right up my alley.
