Visited during my recent Toronto trip - and my relatives live close to this place so gave it a try. Lucked out and it wasn't very busy, so was seated right away. Place seemed pretty clean and well lit - seat wasn't very comfortable though. Service was very quick, and server was very friendly, and made sure you were aware of all there offerings. However, in terms of the food - it was just okay at best, nothing to write home about for the traditional breakfast - sausage tasted a bit undercooked - potatoes were lacking flavour - Vanilla Latte - coffee was way too mild , so tasted more like drinking Vanilla oat milk - needed to get another coffee elsewhere soon after. I really wanted to love this place. After missing out on trying it last year due to the crowd, we were determined to stick it out this time despite how packed it was. The system seemed organized enough - they took our name and phone number at reception, promising to text when our table was ready. So we waited... and waited... and waited some more. Standing right beside the reception desk for over an HOUR, we watched group after group get called in, including larger parties of 4+. Something felt off when another couple who had just arrived got seated immediately. When I finally asked what was happening, the truth came out: they had entered my number incorrectly and supposedly "tried to call" us. Instead of, you know, looking up and calling my name to the people standing THREE FEET AWAY from the desk, they just silently removed us from the waitlist! The worst part wasn't even the mistake - it was how the older Indian female staff at reception handled it afterward. No real apology, just defensive excuses and raised voices when I expressed my frustration. She claimed she had called my name (she absolutely did not) and basically shrugged off the fact that we'd wasted an hour of our evening. By that point, even though we'd already ordered, I couldn't bring myself to stay. All I wanted was a simple "I'm sorry this happened" and maybe some effort to make it right. Place was packed when we came Sunday around 10AM. The food was good as we tried a variety of stuff but the bad would be service. Not that it was bad but I don't think our waters were refilled and the check took about 5 mins to come. Decor would be what one would expect from a brunch spot. We came here for a weekend brunch, and had a mixed experience. Our server seems very scattered, and we had to ask multiple times for items and wait for long periods of time. I had a weird interaction with a server at this restaurant. It was okay, food was okay, the room was nice. It seemed new and clean. The service itself was adequate perhaps even good. After I had paid, the server more or less demanded that my child give her a five star rating. It kinda ruined the experience and gave us "the ick". I didn't raise any objection because frankly if mattered a lot more to the server than us. I came here for the first time for brunch with a friend, I decided to get the caramel cappuccino and the bacon avocado toast that came with two poached eggs, cheese and home fries on the side. The caramel cappuccino was really tasty and made well. the bacon avocado toast was pretty good. I noticed that the avocado was actually a guacamole that tasted like it was from a packet. and that the poached eggs were quite small. overall, it was a pretty good experience and I would definitely consider coming back here another time for brunch because their selection is quite good. read more

I checked out this brunch spot with a friend. The location is convenient as right near Vaughan mills. Inside is aesthetically really nice and the wait time was only 10-15mins which was not bad at all. Our server and the table runners were really nice and they made sure to check on us often. My friend ordered an omelette with fruit and I got a latte and I got the 'Canadian' where it gives you an option to have half a waffle or pancake on the side. I enjoy the brunch here! The aesthetic itself is pretty and it has a nice calm vibe. We went on a Sunday morning around 9-10am (after restrictions were lifted) and it was extremely busy! We were seated and we had to flag someone down to order as they were so busy. The waitress was in a rush and seemed very stressed. We finally ordered and honestly we waited a very very long time before we got our meals. The food itself was pretty good! Presented beautifully as always. They have great drinks too! We got the avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached eggs. This was delicious we also ordered the rainbow chocolate chip pancakes for the kids. They enjoyed it too! This was one of the worst experiences I've had at a brunch place bar non. It was not even worth taking pictures of the food. The service was absolute atrocious from beginning to end. I know it is a busy time. But we had a server who was constantly in a rush disappearing and we had to practically shout orders to finish a total order before she ran away. The food that ended up arriving the Angus and kimchi Benedict was not up to par. Perhaps what was most disappointing was the potatoes that were soggy and soft. Also if you want to charge 2.50 for sprinkling cheese on top of potatoes you should tell people that there is a cost and not just present it as an option . The berries and smoothies were not fresh. And the sausage for the kids meal is salt supreme. The worst of the whole thing was they tried to rush us out of the restaurant after less than an hour there. And while tables that have been sitting there way longer than hours and finished eating were not told the same. This place is not worth your time or money. Food: Norwegian Benedict - They have a choice of spicy or regular hollandaise sauce. I opted for spicy and it had a subtle kick to it which was nice. Eggs were poached well with a gooey centre. It came with a good amount of salmon and other toppings. The home fries were nice and crispy. Carole's Cinna-Cakes - I loved these. I was worried it would feel too bread-y or cake-y which was not the case. It had a slightly chewier texture and had the Cinnabon flavour without being overly sweet. The sweetness level was perfect and we didn't think syrup was necessary. Overall: I will definitely be coming back. I had a hard time picking something because everything looked so good! I wanted to try the skillet or cinna-bacon but went with the safe options instead. I thought the price was reasonable compared to other breakfast places. The place is relatively new so it was clean with beautiful decor. The food was okay and overpriced. I had the Canadian and my French Toast was not cooked through--mushy center, so I just carved and ate the edges. I would have liked my bacon on the crispier side but it was half cooked and the over-medium eggs came in over-easy. I went to Stacked in Stoney Creek a couple of days later and they exceeded beyond my expectation! Came in around 11 on a Sunday so it was packed. surprisingly, it was a mere 5-6 minutes of waiting before a table for two was open. I ordered the Chicken in Waffles, my company ordered the Gourmet. The Chicken in waffles is four crisp quarters of a waffle, with a small, yet chunky piece of fried chicken. That stuff is out of this world. The Gourmet is a heavily topped half waffle, two eggs, bacon, and delicious potatoes. I also ordered an orange juice for 6 dollars which was juicy, fresh, real. This food in itself is a 5 star, 5.5 if I could. What makes it a four is the extra charges they encourage you to add without telling you. First off the waiter asked us if it was our first time, so she knew we would have no clue. Second, none of this is stated on the menu. Maybe in a very small font nobody could notice. So what are the charges? Cheese and toast. To order rye toast instead of normal, it's a dollar. They offer multiple times to add cheese on your potatoes not mentioning its 3.50, so we both got it. 4.50 extra each makes 9 dollars extra which we will have to pay taxes and tip for. Terrible.
