Wow. What a great spot! 1.5K reviews at 4.9 doesn't lie. We chose this spot out of all the other spots that show up on social media. But was not wowed by any of them and decided to go to Ravine. And so glad we did! We arrived at 10:30. No wait. But by the time it was noon. There was a crowd at the door. So come early. No reservations!! Everything from the time we walked in to the meal to the crowded waiting at the door near noon says this is a hidden gem. We talked to the owner and found out it's only a year old. What a hidden gem. No social media presence because the food speaks for itself. We had the crispy chicken Benny and the cannoli pancakes. AMAZING. Absolutely delicious. And we also were recommend the strawberry hot chocolate as well. Omg. So good. The blend is perfect and not too sweet. I highly recommend this. Service was great too. Food arrived in a timely manner. Highly recommend this spot.

The manager served us, and he was an absolute delight! He was cheery, full of excitement and positivity. While taking our order, he started up simple conversations, asked about our day, and made food recommendations. He provided such great service!! To make things better, the food was amazing, healthy, and tasty. Definitely would recommend because of the taste and atmosphere :)

We were in the area on a Sunday and spent a few hours at Ravine Cafe. It's definitely more of a dine-in spot than a cafe, but the owner mentioned there are no laptop restrictions, so we got some work done after eating. I liked the variety of seating options, from long tables, to booths, to lounge areas. There was a steady flow of customers, but it was never too busy. I was mainly drawn to their latte flight. For $15, you get 4 smaller-sized latte drinks. I think the flavours change periodically, but my set included lavender, rose, peppermint, and caramel. For me, they were all pretty good except for the lavender - this one didn't have much taste, and there were tiny lavender pieces in the drink that often got included in a sip. My partner got a mocha, which was surprisingly only $2.75. We also ordered the Island Chicken Sandwich and Avocado Toast for brunch. Portion sizes and taste were good. I wish mine wasn't whole wheat, but that is more personal preference. I would definitely recommend Ravine Cafe to those in the area.

I found this place on Google and I thought it was just a cafe I did not realize that it was a full service diner inside. They have plenty of seating and group seating as well so good for all different size groups. I only tried their lattes because I was looking for a coffee I wasn't hungry. I tried the seasons flight it's four mini lattes and each of them is designed to pair or represent a season. The four flavors were the rose, maple, peppermint, lavender. I did find out later that each mini latte had a shot of espresso so for the first time ever I have four shots of espresso I was definitely up for a very long time. I liked the decor it was corky it had lots of different colors it wasn't the same trendy black and white or neutral colors that has been very common lately. The rose latte I would give a 9.5/10 the Rose was subtle and I was not expecting to like it and the more I drank it it grew on me it wasn't too sweet but it also wasn't bitter and every time I took a sip the aroma of the Rose hit me which added to the experience If the maple latte I would give an 8/10 I was actually slightly disappointed I thought this would have been my favorite it wasn't bad it just wasn't wow I didn't really taste the Maple in the actual latte just what was sprinkled on top and I did find it to be slightly better I could taste the espresso quite strongly. Which for some people might be a good thing The peppermint 10/10 I was pleasantly surprised I actually didn't think I was going to like it and I drank that so quickly so fast it had a hint of peppermint so the mint wasn't too harsh and it just paired very well it felt warm it felt cozy very easy drinking The lavender 7/10 this was my least favorite it was slightly bitter but I just feel the lavender flavor is not my cup of tea I was not feeling it it's not sweet at all so if you like a harsh latte I don't even know if that's the right word then go for it I definitely will be coming back to try the food because I did over here people saying that they enjoyed what they ordered

I am so glad I found Ravine Cafe, very spacious and relaxing with cute colourful chairs. Omg I am loving the lychee mimosa, it's so unique and refreshing. The most creative is the sample the seasons: flight of 4 mini lattes and the four represents the four seasons, Rose latte, maple latte, peppermint latte, lavender latter. The maple latte represents fall, brings me the nice and cozy feeling. The peppermint latte prepares me for Christmas. The lavender was delicious and smooth too. We order the ravine egg benedict, the egg Benny was piping hot. The salmon frittata is a good change from regular brunch items. Very nice and friendly service. Nice and relaxing brunch spot!

The food was delicious. Service was great. Will certainly come back. The pistachio latte was out of this world. Ambulance was so cute. It is a vibe.

Brand new spot on Keele serving breakfast and lunch. Tastefully decorated with a very warm ambiance and vibe. Have a feeling this will be a regular spot for me and the family on weekends for brunch. I had a delicious latte with vanilla that was perfection in a cup. For lunch I had the Ravine Sandwich which was amazing - porchette, salami, buffalo mozzarella, fig spread on a baguette. Cannot recommend it more - spicy, salty with a hint of sweet. Generous portions! So good! Service was great. The owners came over to chat for a bit and made me feel like part of the family. Well done. I wish you all the best in the amazing new venture

Amazing breakfast! Their mini latte tasting samples are just awesome! ( and I don't drink latte usually)

It's a small spot but does have a decent amount of seating. Very casual in style, where you order and pay at the counter before seating yourself, and food is not served to the table so they call out your order for pick up. Menu is easy to follow: you pick a vessel and a protein, as well as your choice of toppings and sauces. You can also choose sides and drinks as well. They also have daily deals. My go-to is the HOLY SHRIMP as a SALAD bowl. I top it with cheese, caramelized onions, crispy onions, cucumber, southeast salsa, and sweet pickled cabbage. Their avocado cream is a must-have sauce and this time, I requested a little bit of their roasted peanut sauce as well. The shrimp will definitely have you saying "HOLY!" because they're so crunchy and flavorful. Not to mention, a really good size! One serving is about 5-6 large pieces of shrimp. The K.F.C. was the first protein I tried and is my second go-to choice. Service is always friendly and in general, the entire process is just so easy and convenient. I've also never had to wait long for my food, which I appreciate!

2026 Birthday Series -- Stop #4: Jersey Mikes…read more I'm kicking off a series reviewing all the places I visited to redeem my birthday goodies in July 2026. Along with an overall rating, each spot gets scored on redeemability (how easy it is to claim) and actual value. Jersey Mike's Redeemability: 5/5 (requires sign-up up for the news letter) Actual value: 10/5 (A WHOLE SET OF ONE REGULAR SIZE FREE SUB (ANY) and a drink!) WOW! Aside from the fact that Jersey Mike gives out the BEST BIRTHDAY FREEBIES out of all the cafes and restaurants (with absolutely no convoluted process to redeem - the staff were extremely nice and friendly), the sub itself was freaking amazing. I got the big kahuna - the beef was freshly grilled with LOTS OF white American cheese that melts all over, and the delicious grilled vegetables on top. I swear to god, this was perhaps just as good as the Philly steak sandwich I had in Philly if not better (as a birthday present). The store was as also super clean albeit extremely popular, with freshly cut meat and cheese served in an efficient speed. Tho I got a free combo, I also saw that the sandwiches were very reasonably priced - the quality and the price were unbeatable and I'll def come back often. I'd say jersey Mike's is my FAV sub restaurant now, far surpass subway but also firehouse sub which I often found overpriced. Highly, highly recommended.

Next time I think I'll opt out of the Mike's Way, since I didn't love my sandwich doused in vinegar - it also made it pretty soggy pretty quickly. However, the sandwich taste itself was amazing and so fresh! I can't wait to go back to customize another sandwich to my liking!

Two Tuesday nights ago, I had just watched a concert film at Cineplex Cinemas Vaughan. I was heading to my car and needed to grab some dinner. I saw this Jersey Mike's Subs, which was new to me. It made sense to grab a sub and eat it at home. There was lots of parking in this area. I kept my car parked near Cineplex and walked over to this eatery. Once I was inside the store, there were a couple of customers before me. My usual order is the number 9, which is the turkey club sub. I tend to get the regular, which is the medium size out of the three that you can get. I got a friendly woman who was preparing two subs before mine. She asked what I'd like. I said the number 9. I was a bit rusty, as I haven't had anything from Jersey Mike's for a good year. I forgot to say that i wanted my number 9 on rosemary parmesan bread. This woman didn't ask me about the bread and defaulted to making my sub with white bread. It was okay. However, I would have liked to have been prompted. This woman prepared my sub with one of the two subs that the couple in front of me had ordered. It was weird. Wouldn't you want to work on the two subs that the couple had ordered together, and then separate mine? My sub and one of theirs weren't even the same. The male from the couple had to say something at the end when it was time for him to pay. It looked like she was going to charge him with one sub, when he was clearly paying for two. Weird. The woman got back to making my sub. She asked if I wanted it Mike's way, which meant onions, lettuce, tomatoes, red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, and salt. My usual is Mike's way minus the onions. I said that. Mike's way minus the onions. The woman asked me to repeat it. I did. Her colleague behind her turned around to look at me. I looked right back at her. Are you staring at me because you are quietly judging me on my omitting onions on my sub? I don't see anything wrong with it. Why rudely turn around? You aren't working on my sub. Your colleague is. I remember saying the same thing at the Markham location. I got the you-don't-like-onions comment. Nope, that's not true. I love onion rings and French onion soup. I love thinly sliced raw onions. Don't give me thick-cut raw onions. It's the raw burn that I don't enjoy. I found the staring to be rude. In the past, I'd be uncomfortable. I will not be made to feel bad. I will stare you down until you look away, which is exactly what I did to make the rude woman stop. I've ordered this sub without onions at the Kitchener location countless times. No one has every looked at me funny. I miss that level of customer service and respect. At the checkout, you can enter your phone number associated with your Jersey Mike's rewards account to earn points. I have enough points for a free sub. I didn't use them for this order. I paid with a credit card. I tapped and was good. I grabbed my sub and left. I put my sub in my insulated bag. It wasn't a hot sub. Just habit. I'm glad that I did. When I got home, for the first time in my life, a Jersey Mike's sub leaked red wine vinegar and soaked the paper bag. My insulated bag kept my car and me clean. Luckily, I only had to wash out the bag. Still, I shouldn't have had to. My sub was good. It needed my usual rosemary parmesan bread. It was also more soggy than usual. The applewood smoked bacon was excellent, as were the roast beef, turkey, swiss cheese, and mayo. It's hard to say whether this place was heavy-handed with the red wine vinegar or olive oil. I also don't know if it was a wrapping issue. I do know that I had a wet sub bag. It's a three-star review. Let me find another new Jersey Mike's in the greater Toronto area and see if I get more rudeness asking to have the onions omitted in my sub. (399)
