Great food selection Ideal for brunch Great customer service and a beautiful setup for dining.
Tried this new brunch place at square one. Very crowded but loads of tables. Environment was very pleasant! Food was delicious and just as expected. Portion was decent and the price was typical to other brunch spots.
Pur & Simple is the best brunch place - even the simple items are done so well and it's just a classic breakfast place. i got the Cortez omelette , it was so savoury and delicious. I loved that it came with an avocado, it was the perfect touch. I loved the crunchy home fries on the side, always so crunchy and crispy !
We were out and about in the Heartland to do some shopping and we figured we'd grab some brunch before popping into any stores. We initially stopped into Pur & Simple and were told that there would be a half hour wait, despite an obvious abundance of free tables both inside and out. After wandering around in search of another appropriate eatery, we decided to come back and were told that the wait was now about five minutes. Weird. We got a table inside that was right next to a door that the servers used to go outside, so people were constantly coming and going right behind me. It was a little annoying. Anyway, after perusing the menu for a few minutes, I eventually decided to try one of their skillets, the Rizo ("Chorizo, red & green peppers, tomatoes, avocado, scallions, 3 cheese blend and spicy Hollandaise sauce"). (Oh, I should also mention that my water glass had a bit of a lip stain on the outside of it. I was too thirsty to try and complain, so I just wiped it off with my finger and drank from the other side.) The food took about twenty minutes to arrive and when it did, it wasn't exactly hot. It had clearly been sitting around for a while before our server brought it. I'm sure some heat would've improved it, but there were other problems too. I'll first state that I did eat all of it and I basically enjoyed it, but it did seem like it could've been improved. I liked the heat level of that spicy hollandaise, but the dish just ate way too rich. It needed something to cut through all those heavy elements. The sausage was very soggy, too. The dish ultimately felt like it had been thrown together by a bored cook. I didn't get the sense that any care or love had been involved in the preparation of my meal. I can't see myself ever returning but the place is busy enough that I guess that's for the best.

My companion had the French Toast, which blew me away with its presentation and made me envious of their order. Her dish was garnished with bananas, chocolate chips, whip cream and chocolate syrup! I ordered the breakfast poutine, which consisted of any style egg (I chose scrambled) and a Hollandaise sauce atop a mix of breakfast meats, cheese curds and potato wedges. Both dishes did not disappoint, and we were in unanimous agreement to visit any one of their locations again!
I've been a fan of Pur & Simple at this location in Heartland Town Centre, since they opened. They open early at 7am, which is great for people needing flexible early options. Their menu has changed a little since the grand opening. I miss their J&B Wrap! But their menu is still quite large and there's something for everyone. Prices have also gone up in the past year. So it's no longer an affordable regular place to dine on a frequent basis. Service is good, but would appreciate it if all staff stay masked for health. My last visit, only one staff member was masked. Note: it gets VERY busy on weekends. It's just the nature of brunch service! Please be patient if you choose to go during their peak hours. Service will naturally be slower and queues at the door. Please be kind!

I am used to brioche being in a rectangular shape, but this one came in the shape of a hamburger bun. It was a bit smaller than I expected, and the bun was not as fluffy as typical brioche. I really enjoyed the fine herb mayonnaise dressing on the sandwich, though. SERVICE | It was really busy because we came at peak hours. The service was kind of slow and kind of inattentive at times. I'm sure that as they stay open for longer, there will be a better system in place that can optimize customer enjoyment :) AMBIENCE | It is very cute inside! I like the neon signs and the clean, white deco. It's a perfect brunch-y vibe. VERDICT | Good new brunch spot in Mississauga, worth a visit if you're from the area!
I went for brunch with family and had a lovely meal in this cute restaurant. The decor is so fresh and clean. The seating is comfortable. I would say the quality of the food is much higher than most breakfast restaurants. I ordered the big three which was excellent. My aunt had the Canadian breakfast and my sister had the simple breakfast. Everything was very tasty. The eggs were perfect. One thing I was impressed with was that they use higher quality meats than most breakfast places. The bacon was a nice thick cute. The ham was not too salty and the sausage was very good quality as well. I was also impressed with the selection of breads which included bagel. The pancakes were good but not fluffy. But the French toast was amazing. The servers work very well as a team. Our server was very sweet and attentive. Coffee cups and water glasses were refilled. We were taken care of very well. I will definitely go again.

What better way to start black Friday with a good brunch! I am so excited that our &simple Opened near us! I love the gourmet meal that I tried and it's a good portion as well. Just a tip,it would be nice that you and your friends can share a meal coz the portions is huge lol ..it's good for the price! The ambiance is just very nice and inviting! Definitely worth the try!! I highly recommend this restaurant! Very clean looking and nice customer service. I'll be coming back next time for sure!
Food is solid and I would say a safe place to go if you wanted brunch. Nothing that stands out or warrants a line, which is something you'll always find with this place. We found the place to be very unorganized and overall felt frustrated to be waiting when there are countless open tables inside and on the patio... It's also irritating when you wait 30+ mins for a table and you end up taking the one that's been open the entire time... I was very close to rating this place a 3/5 for these reasons, but didn't want to penalize the food and our friendly server.

Enjoyed a quiet weekday brunch here with my hubby a couple of months ago. The food was tasty and presented nicely. Our server was sweet but I got the feeling they were understaffed as it took some time for our order to be taken and the bill to be dropped off. Would come back here again! read more

It opened this year in the Heartland shopping area so there's definitely plenty of parking. I love the interior design. It feels like a vegan restaurant feel. The server was friendly. We went on a weekday which we didn't have to line up. We both loved our brunch. I wish I had more of their amazing potatoes. To substitute a side to fruits did cost $3.50 extra. The price is decently priced, most all under $20. The manager had to come over to fix our gift certificate/card as the extra $10 was not added. Good thing I asked about it!! Verdict: this Squirrel will definitely be hopping back for more brunch. =) read more
Very nice and quiet little breakfast place not to far from the airport. It's far enough away to avoid the crowds though. I started with an iced vanilla latte. It was a very nice drink! It also came out really cool and layered looking. I got the cinna-bacon sandwich for my main. The sandwich was amazing all be it a little hard to eat. The potato's served with the meal where also super delicious! The only issue was the service was a little bit slow. Overall a very nice experience! read more

We actually just got back from having breakfast this morning at Pur & Simple. Since it's a weekday, there was lots of seating available. I read reviews saying they're busy on the weekends so I'm glad we were able to experience breakfast without waiting. Lots of parking available. COVID precautions are in place as there is enough space to socially distance, and tables are separated by dividers. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the red velvet pancakes to share, Norwegian eggs Benedict, and the Chicago eggs Benedict. Everything tasted good. We had to bring the pancakes home because the portion is huge. It's a bit more expensive than other breakfast places as our bill came out to around $70 including tax and tip. We'll be back again with friends for brunch! read more

Dropped off my wife to get a table at 1030am. Was told that our table will be ready in 30 minutes so I parked and used the level 2 charger at 1031am. Went inside to wait with my wife. The restaurant is small and cramped with no waiting area so it was hard to find a place to even stand. Guess what, after standing for 30 minutes, the busboy rudely told us that we cannot stand where we have been standing for the last 30 minutes. Since there is no other place to stand, we did what a reasonable person would do and left the restaurant. At 1110am, 40 minutes later or 10 minutes more than the 30 minutes wait that was quoted, my wife finally got a text message saying that our table is ready. By that time, we have already been seated and served at Congee Queen across the road. No food is worth waiting 40 minutes standing time and getting told by the rude busboy that we can no longer stand and wait where we have been waiting for 30 minutes. I rarely leave a 1 star Review, but others need to know what to expect from this restaurant and their rude busboy. Not recommended. read more

Pür & Simple is one of the popular brunch place in GTA. You won't feel disappointed for choosing the Angus Benedict. Serving with a lot of beef and onions with egg benedict. It's a perfect match! Rizo Skillets's potatoes are deep fried and very crispy. Eating with sunny side egg and chorizo, you won't taste very heavy and oily! Only one things are reminder. Coffee isn't included tho. read more

A nice and modern brunch place in Heartland with lots of options! Came with a friend for her birthday and I got the chicken caesar wrap with french fries. Service was good and the food came out pretty quickly despite it being super busy when we came in on a Friday morning. The food was filling, but nothing spectacular. Usually I feel super greasy after eating at typical breakfast places but the wrap was surpringly light and I left feeling satisfied. A bit on the pricey side but would still recommend checking out. read more
I would say this a decent spot of breakfast & brunch. My table & I ordered the following: 1. Triple Berry Pancakes: 3/5 - the pancakes were tough and dry. The berries were good. But would not recommend. 2. Fried Chicken Benny: 4/5 - I enjoyed the hash, fried chicken could have been a bit more juicy. Aside from that, it was a good dish. 3. Pancakes (regular) on the side: 2/5 - the pancakes were tough and dry. I would not recommend. Overall, I would come here again and probably order something else! Customer service was top notch. I was here for a midweek breakfast. The food was well-prepared and delicious, and the servers were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. I came here to catch up with a friend over brunch. We arrived around 10 a.m. and waited for a while, which was tolerable. Fridays are particularly busy, especially after 10 a.m. This wonderful, accommodating waitress served us. My friend ordered the 'angus egg benedict,' while I ordered the 'oh la la crepe.' We had a fantastic time there and thoroughly loved our food. If you're ever looking for an aesthetic place to eat breakfast/brunch or lunch in mississauga and/or especially around heartland area, you must come to this place! It's enjoyable to eat with friends, families, and more. This was my first visit to this location, and I'm instantly a fan. I'm really looking forward to returning back! read more

Over an hour wait around 3pm on a Saturday.. yet the tables weren't even filled. I feel like it could have been better managed, with quicker turn arounds. Food tasted pretty good, it did take a bit for it to come out. We also got a pitcher of sangria, delicious and fruity. read more

Another great find during our travels. This place seems trendy, a nice breakfast place. We ordered eggs with potatoes and fruit salad. The eggs were cooked perfectly as instructed. Fruits were fresh and delicious. Staff was friendly and efficient - an overall great breakfast experience. read more
Been here three times in 3 weeks! Its that good. The menu was so creative and definitely is different from other breakfast places with quite a variety of options. The skillets are our favourites here (specifically Little Italy and Ray's Extravaganza). But we've also had the Steak Eggs Benedict, Bacon Shroomy Crepe, Great One, Breakfast Brioche and The Canadian. They were all A1! The steak eggs benedict was just okay for me. But the P&S potatoes definitely are a fave!! read more

Definitely a great brunch spot, so many options to choose from and portions are decent! Came here for brunch with my boyfriend just before dine in restrictions and there was a bit of a wait to get seated. Decided to get the "xplosion" which includes 2 eggs with bacon and French toast with bananas, strawberries and Nutella. Highly recommend this option if you want a mix of sweet and savoury. My boyfriend got the "smooth like butter" waffle which was smothered in toppings and lots of bananas. We both enjoyed our brunch meals and service here was great too! read more
Loved the flat white and the eggs Benedict. The Santa Fe eggs Benedict comes with beans , onion, tomato, avacado on the English muffins and the standard porched eggs. They have option for the simple hollandaise or spicy. I chose the spicy one but it's basically sirarcha on the sauce so not very different. Avacado toast was equally good. Orange juice is truly freshly squeezed juice. Pancakes - we took just basic pancake and must say they are not the fluffy, since have had better ones, but they were good enough. Also the pancakes were served with caramel and syrup is extra charges - a little odd, usually syrup is just given. Service was outstanding and our server was very friendly and answering most of the questions I had since the menu is a little twisted from the usual brunch place in a way. At the reception they do ask for identification and vaccination proof , they do accept digital proof and ID. This place is worth a try and they do have nice seating arrangement inside and patio. read more

Apologies in advance because I demolished the food before I could take a photo. Felt like brunch today so I picked up the Cina-bacon handheld with turkey bacon and a strawberry and banana smoothie; opted for oat milk - definitely should have asked for oj on the side or out completely. Not a bad taste but not a usual combo. This meal was great from first bite to last. The potatoes, which were included in the meal, were done to perfection : crunchy seasoned outside with soft inside( how breakfast potatoes should be done). The atmosphere of the Mississauga location was pretty busy, cool vibe. Service at the host stand was good and timely. No complaints on a pick up order basis. Enjoyed for it being my first time. read more
I really had high hopes for this restaurant but it was mediocre. The Santa Fe dish I ordered was great (highly recommended) and the french toast tasted bland, plus the fruits were sour. The service was also a bit slow but since I went on the weekend, I understood that it was going to be busy. read more
Went here for brunch on a weekday & was so happy with everything! The space is super bright & cute inside, the coffee was hot & the food so tasty (esp the potatoes!). Really happy that we finally have a nice brunch spot in the area that I would want to come back to quickly. Their menu has a LOT of variety & everything sounds good, so look ahead if you're the indecisive type. read more
