Amazing experience with Richard! I came in for an acrylic fill, and he did a fantastic job cleaning up my cuticles and making sure every detail was perfect. He was incredibly attentive, helped me choose the perfect color, and even added beautiful jewelry accents for an upcoming wedding. DO NOT COME HERE State board should be checking this place cause they have unlicensed workers that don't know what they're doing! And when you ask them for 'builder gel removal' , they literally RIP OFF the gel product on your natural nails instead of using an efile like they should've! If the lady was licensed, she would've known the safest gel removal is use an efile to drill the top layer of gel and do a soak off, not rip off the gel from the natural nails. Smh. Great service and overall experience! My tech was fabulous (shout out, Ella!). The only reason I am giving 4 stars is because the jump from a basic pedicure up to the next one in price (just to add a salt scrub) was pretty significant. If I wanted to add a scrub, it was $30 more and had to include a bunch of other items too. Not only did it cost a lot more, due to all of the items added, it was a ton more time. We went early (11AM) and were the only customers so I cannot speak to how it is on a busy day. Regardless, they did a great job! Very friendly, accommodating, and good prices. I rarely leave reviews but this was one of the worst manicures I've ever had. The women doing my nails was so rough I almost couldn't believe it. I came in with Gel X on and she was intermittently drilling and then using a tool to pull it back. Finally I asked about the soak off after realizing we weren't ever getting to that part. Once that was requested it seemed as though she was annoyed and starting working quickly and was impatient while soaking them off. She kept drilling to try and speed it up. Once at the point of polish my nails were still rough...and don't get me started on the shaping. I also left with gel residue still on my skin including pieces of fuzz from the cotton. Update: after my initial review, I received a text from the owner with his apologies and an offer to refund my money. He was very prompt and courteous and I told him I'd rather just give the place another try, in lieu of a refund. I booked a fill and a pedicure. My appt today went much better than last time. I was helped at my scheduled time and my nail tech Linda was fantastic. She was thorough and friendly and did a gorgeous job on my nails. Here's why there's only 1 star. When I went up to pay, I fully expected to cover the pedicure but the fill was to make right the burned cuticles and painful service that happened previously. Hence the whole reason I came back. Alas, no. The owner charged me for both services and gave me a whopping 15% discount only after I said something. I am truly at a loss for words with this business practice. I've been to 6-7 nail salons in Indianapolis since moving here. I've gone to ones in broad ripple, Lawrence, fishers, etc and I have always been disappointed in the services. It got to the point where I was using Press ons instead because they looked better then what the salons did and obviously cheaper. I wanted to get French tips and was skeptical but saw the reviews for this salon and decided to try it. Walking in, I was attended to right away by a gentleman that was very professional and kind. He had me seen right away and I noticed they had someone at front desk at all times and beautiful relaxing music. I usually have to wait a certain amount of time even with an appointment at any other salon and I didn't have to wait for appointment here. As soon as I sat down for my full set, the man from the front desk asked me if I wanted anything to drink. They had a list of a verity of free options rangin from water, to tea to pop and more. I got the lemon honey tea and it was absolutely delicious. I know they had a list for wine also but I didn't see if they had prices or not. Liz did an amazing job at my French tip full set, she worked fast and was very precise. I was so impressed! She took me to do my pedicure and the water was already ready to go. They used new sterile equipment that was packaged individually for my pedi. The water temperature was perfect from the start. I love when my sets match and was very happy with my results. I will definitely be coming back here to work with Liz. I liked how the employees and nail techs were very professional and kind. I didn't hear any chatter amongst them (which usually doesn't bother me unless I can't understand what they're saying) I didn't realize how much of a difference it made in my comfortability during my time there. Most salons are filled with chatter and it becomes white noise and seeing the difference had me enjoy this experience even more. I went to PUR to get acrylics for the first time and they have me hooked. My first visit was on a slower day, so my friends and I (3) were able to walk-in, and even sit next to each other. We went before Christmas, and the manager gave us nice BBW candles despite it being our first time! I just went back recently for an fill in and color change. This time was much busier, but I still had an enjoyable visit! I was not able to sit near my friends, but they got my nails done quickly so it all worked out! The employees have only been nice and accomodating, despite whatever craziness may be going on in the salon. I usually go to nail salons near my home but I was going to Costco and wanted to be closer to that area and PUR had some killer reviews so we checked it out. I cannot speak highly enough of this salon! Gone are the days of tacky decor and stuffy spaces, PUR was clean, well kept and spa like in its design. We went for pedicures and while I usually go for the cheapest option, classic pedi is $40, my guest was paying and picked the candle deluxe one for us ($75). Now, that's a lot for a pedi but it was soooo deluxe, a great way to splurge! They have a candle lit next to you during the beginning of the pedicure and then our the hot wax on your legs at the end to moisturize and rejuvenate. Loved it. Had a great gel manicure at Pur nail spa! They lure you in with a glass of champagne and great customer service (only reason I'm giving 2 stars)! Unfortunately the manicure doesn't hold up so well. On my second day of my vacation my nails have already chipped! Only 4 days after I got them done!!! Gel is supposed to last for at least a week and a half if not two weeks! So disappointed with the quality of of this manicure!! Don't waste your money here because you'll either be back a few days later to get them fixed or be in Hawaii with nails that look terrible after your spent $40 on them. Seriously bummed and won't be back! UPDATE: I have changed my review to 5 stars because they refunded me! They offered to either redo them or refund me but since my toes (which I did at home) lasted longer, I figured I'd just take the refund. This is the best nail salon I have found in Indianapolis. The salon is so clean, and I feel very safe here. The workers are friendly, fast, and do a great job - my nails have never looked better! I have made an appointment every time I come in, but it really is not necessary. I never wait and usually show up before my appointment time anyways. I was also offered free wine and drinks and was checked on during my appointment to see if I ever wanted a beverage. Prices aren't high or anything outrageous. Full service nail salon acrylics, tips, manicures, and several different pedicures to choose from I recommend the ultimate all the standard procedures of soak trim exfoliate hot stones and paraffine. They also do a candle wax treatment that is one of the best I've ever had, temperature appropriate candlewax massage and then melted with the hot stones for a second massage. I was charged $60 for a gel manicure with chrome. Half way on all my nails the chrome is barely on, the nail polish is flooding my cuticles, they "massaged" my hand for 5 seconds and sent me on my way. Not to mention they used dirty cuticle clippers and the same file and buffer they use on all their clients, unsanitary. If I am paying $60 for a gel manicure I expect it to be done well and leave the salon happy. I'm embarrassed of how my nails look and now I have to spend the rest of my evening trying to remove the gel and repaint them myself. Waste of money and time. read more

Today was my third time here and my previous 2 visits for pedicures went fine, but after today I won't be returning. I came in to get dip powder on my nails and chose a pale, blush pink color from the color wheels (PF126 to be exact). Everything was going fine until the tech starting dipping my nails in the powder and they were coming out a super bright bubblegum pink. Knowing that the dip color is tough to see in powder form I waited it out, but when he was putting the final coats on I could see it was nowhere near the color I chose. I asked to see the color wheel again and held up my nails to the color I chose and it was WAY off, and the tech and owner both saw it. They apologized and gave a reasoning that the sample colors fade in the sun since they're close to the window and they offered me a 10% discount, taking only $6 off the price. Super disappointed to have to pay almost $60 for a color I didn't choose. If the color wheels fade that significantly, don't put them by the windows - that's misrepresenting your product. Waste of time and money. I should have taken a pic of the color I chose but it's PF126, if you're in the salon you can compare to the color I actually got shown in the pics. Be careful choosing dip colors because you may get something completely different, apparently. UPDATE: I was called by the salon and offered a refund or to come in and have my nails re-done. But I started noticing that I would have a lot of add-ons and pricing one time I got charged five dollars for a change of shape in my nails from square to oval. My sister and I came in for my birthday and we got two full sets of acrylic w/ gel, as well as two pedicures. My experience was great, while my sister's experience was awful. We started with our pedicures and we were offered a list of free alcoholic drinks, if we wanted to have anything while we were getting our nails done. There was an option of different flavored mimosas, wine, champagne, as well as water and they are all complementary with any service (as long as you were 21 or older, although they didn't ask to check IDs to verify our ages). There were services that were added onto our pedicure by our technicians that were not requested by us that cost extra money that we did not approve. My feet looked great by the end of it, so I didn't mind. But not everyone has financial flexibility to give their technician the freedom to charge whatever they want. My sister and I came in for my birthday, and we got to sit next to each other for pedicures, which was great. For our manicures, though, we were separated and were nowhere close to each other. I had Tracey and I requested a short square shape with a pink glittery nail polish, there were a couple things that I had to ask my technician to fix regarding the shape, but she was polite about it and she did a great job. My sister's manicure, was not a great experience. She had requested a coffin shaped nail that resembled nothing of a coffin shape at all. She requested a shimmery, red nail polish, and the nail polish was all over her hands and fingers by the time we left the shop. My sister didn't love the way that the shape looked and she had asked the technician to fix it, but she said that it would cost extra money to fix it. She was aggressive with her hands and rude when my sister asked her to fix things that were not to her liking. My sister paid $140 and mine was $130. It was over what the quote was for the services that we requested when we arrived, but I was happy with how my nails came out, so I didn't mind too much. My sister did not have the extra money to spend so she was obviously frustrated. 2 days later, my sister had 3 nails that were fractured. I called to see if these could be fixed free of charge and I was told it was no problem. We went in a few days later and they had the same lady that did my sister's nails the first time, fix them. Again she was rude and aggressive with my sister's hands. The lady was obviously irritated and was only halfway paying attention. My sister asked her to fix the nail shape and she told my sister that it would cost $20 to fix the shape. We were not going to pay her more money when she was the one that messed up the shape initially. All the tech did to fix the fractures was apply a new layer of polish. She started applying polish and the UV light, and she dropped the light right on top of my sisters hand and messed up the polish on 3 nails and told my sister to pay attention. I was sitting right next to my sister and the tech was not paying attention when she moved the light. I'll be back for Tracey, but not that other lady read more

PUR Nail Salon and their management are the worst I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I made an appointment a few days in advance for a mani-pedi, but letting you know now that scheduling it won't matter because they won't put it down anyways. None of the nail technicians know the schedule and they take anyone that comes in whether it's a planned appointment or not. You would think this is a good thing, but not when you have an appointment and they take too many walk-in's and you end up waiting up to an hour anyways. Seriously, why can't they stop taking so many people when they're not able to get to appointments?! There is a lack of communication and organization with the whole team and they can't manage it. Now we already have a bad start, let's see how the service actually goes. I enjoyed the pedicure. The massage and scrub was very therapeutic and they did a good job applying the nail polish to my toes. Next issue, the manicure that I thought I would have right after was not communicated with the staff. I was left waiting for another 20 minutes because they didn't know that I came for both when I told them when I first came through the door that's what I was there for; a mani-pedi. When they finally got to me, they didn't ask me what color I wanted for my hands, they assumed I wanted the same color as my toes and went ahead with that. I finished up and paid, and I was glad to be out of there after several hours. 2 days later, a toe infection starts. As soon as I left the nail salon, it felt like something was digging into the skin on the side of the nail bed then pus and blood started to ooze out. Many epsom salt foot soaks later and application of neosporin, it didn't appear it was healing. I went to a doctor and was given a 10-day antibiotic treatment. I contacted PUR Nail Salon to inform them of what happened and to refund me for the services. This is where the sh!t show starts, they will NOT take accountability for their mistake. They will BLAME YOU for the infection they caused. They will tell you that your own toenails caused its own infection from being "ingrown". How can you have "ingrown" toenails when they were freshly cut, buffed, and shaped by their nail tech 2 DAYS AGO?? Your toe nails can't possibly grow that fast to cause that! They are playing dumb or they're ignorant about it, doesn't matter. In the end, they were never going to take accountability and they were never going to refund me. If you check out another Yelp review, another person here has experienced a toe infection the same way I did! There's also a picture in that review so you will know exactly how your toes will look after getting your nails done here. They are money-hungry, unprofessional, disorganized, and gaslight/deflect their mistakes, never again. Save yourself from this nightmare and find a different nail salon or DIY at home. read more
