I came here from a referral from a friend. I had tried this place bc website pricing was good, service seemed good, and the quality looked good. when I got there at my appointmen, there was one person there doing a pe. i wasnt helped til 20 minutes later by a lady. while she was doing my nails, she was on her phone, watching something on it the whole time doing them. my nails are not straigh, look bubbl, and just look like a nonexperienced person did them. when I went to pay, it was $15 more than what the website said. every time I have gotten my nails done it has taken at least an hour. it only took her less than 30 minute. Excellent pedicure by Kim, wished I could say the same for the guy that did my manicure, took about 5 minutes, zero filing, clear polish, walked out with a hang nail, not cleaned, no lotion, BUT full price for manicure and removal of dip! This was our first experience at Spa Nails 2. Despite the low ratings, I heard from a friend they were reasonable, clean, and experienced. My daughter and I went for pedicures today. We we pleasantly surprised that the wait wasn't too long. Our nail technicians were professional and didn't make us feel rushed. I love that the massage portion wasn't timed or rushed. Their prices were great too. Regarding safety: everyone is required to wear a mask and for nails they have the plexiglass partitions. They sanitized the pedicure chairs after each person as well as the foot wells. We both walked out with fresh toes and feeling relaxed! I should've looked at (and listened) to the yelp reviews.. I will likely not return to this salon. I am new to the area and was looking for a pedicure. On their website, I saw their pricing for a deluxe pedicure was $38. The location was close and they had availability so I said "why not?" Here's why not: -Their pricing and advertising is incorrect on their website. I was charged $41 for a deluxe pedicure. -The deluxe pedicure includes "hot stone massage on legs to relax and ease muscles". There were no hot stones whatsoever. -I had a cut on my toe and the pedicurist was extremely loud and asked twice if I was messing with it. (?) Why should this be announced to the whole salon and it shouldn't matter? -The nail polish was applied so thick and chipped within a week All in all, I recommend not going to the salon. There are way more nail salons in the area that I'm sure would do a better job read more

It did take about 45 minutes to be seen for a pedicure, but I wasn't mad because I wasn't in a rush. I didn't love waiting but I don't think it's fair to be mad at the store by putting your own time constraints on them without an appointment. They were also very appreciative and thanked me several times for waiting. I did the tropical pedicure and both of the ladies provided a very thorough experience. The facility is very clean. Never again!!! I had a $5 off coupon in the mail so I gave this place a shot (despite the poor reviews). A normal pedicure is $31 which I thought was high but whatever. I sat with a nice man but he didn't understand a word I said -- which normally would be fine but stay with me. I sat under the dryer for 25 minutes and walked to my car to see that the big toes were messed up. I walked back in and he fixed them by just adding more polish (it was caked on at this point) because he nor anyone else understood me. I go here regularly for manicures, and they also do such a great job!! Today, I went in for a dip manicure. Scheduled an appointment with Kim, I walked in and she started on my nails right away, I didn't have to wait which can happen at other salons. Kim does such a good job on my nails. She takes her time and pays attention to detail! While I was getting my nails done I realized they also do eyebrow waxing, so I had Kim do my eyebrows, too! I went early in the morning, close to after they had opened. I was the only person in there for about 30 minutes. I did the Hot Stone pedicure. The man doing my pedicure was very distracted and not paying attention to his work. He used the "grater" on the heel on my foot and wasn't paying attention and went to hard and I ended up having cuts on my heel that are still in pain to this day. It's been almost a week since I had gotten this done. Then, I also got a basic manicure and he was also rushing through this process. He didn't bother to trim down my nails and barely painted my whole nail. It seemed that all employees were rushing around, even though there wasn't a wait. Other employees that weren't working were playing on their phone with volume out loud or playing computer games also with the sound out loud. Not a professional place and made it very hard to relax. This is a no-nonsense nail shop and as such, it's one of the more affordable places for manis/pedis in Carmel. Personally, I don't need a glass of wine, aromatherapy, posh location or upscale decor and I'd rather not pay for it. The nail techs at Spa & Nails II do a great job. They may not speak English that well, but they are friendly and work hard. There is a plethora of colors available in regular polish, gel or dip powder, including my favorite brand, OPI. Other reviewers have complained about wait times, but I have never had a problem. I treat myself to nail services so I'm not in a hurry. If you're pressed for time, make an appointment or go during non-peak hours, like 10am on a Wednesday. Spa & Nails II is the place to go for quality affordable service. read more

I really don't know why people have such negative reviews of this place?? I came in and got a spot within 2 minutes. The guy who did my pedicure was attentive and very thorough! The nails looked great ... I guess I'll see if they hold up but as far as service this place gets an A. The inside is small but clean and well set up. I like how they put the pedi massage chairs at an offset angle so your not staring at the person across from you (that always weirds me out). They let our feet soak for 20 minutes in luke warm (quickly becoming cold water) before we decided to leave. The salon was dirty and they were very unprofessional when it came to any sort of answer if we were going to ever get service, yet alone service at the same time AS PROMISED when we made an appointment. Nope. Never coming here again. I had started a new job recently and needed to get some acrylic nails off. I had some errands to run over that way anyway, so I just walked in. First of all- the place is clean, but it seems chaotic in the front. Second-the treatment. Oh my gosh this was awful. Instead if buzzing the gel polish off my nails and soaking off the acrylic, this tech instead barely touched my nails with a Dremel, and just had me dunk my entire hands into a bowl of acetone. No wrapping my nails in foil to avoid skin drying out, that went out the window. After a total of six rounds of finger dunking and dremmeling (horrifying on my skin), he finally got the acrylic off. However, instead of stopping at the nail, he went into my nail bed with said dremmel, even though I would repeatedly pull away and say "ow". He quite seriously went through my actual nail! When I asked him to just file them instead of cut them (to spare my fingertips) he just ran a file lightly. The edges were still jagged, and they weren't anywhere close to even. He then had the idea to ask if I wanted a French manicure. As if a French would have made my nails look better. To add insult to this, asking about the french were the only words he spoke to me. The rest of the time, he would motion at me or grunt. No words. Just gutteral noises. This was two weeks ago, and my nails are still recovering. They keep splitting thanks to how then they were sanded down to, and some haven't even had a chance to grow out because of how short I had to file them when I got home to try and make them even. Never. Ever. EVER. AGAIN. read more
