the man that works just needs to stop doing nails. i was charged $70 for a sloppy, uneven and rushed french tip full set. he gave me dip without me asking and then charged me for it just because he was too lazy to paint a base coat on. all of my nails are different shapes and sizes, my hands are COVERED with gunk even after two times washing my hands, and he didn't even put cuticle oil on at the end. if you are going to go here , only let Tiffany do your nails. read more

I went in for a regular mani and pedi, got an upgraded pedi with a sugar scrub, mask and callus removal, it was $82 for both. No matter which pedi you get, callus removal is $7, and hair removal is $5 per toe, which I understood; but when I asked to just buff my nails instead of having them polished, the person in charge said that it would be an additional $5. My friend and I were in here to get a gel manicure and have her acrylic nails removed, and we had a terrible experience. Looking at the other Yelp reviews and I'm not sure if this was an anomaly, because other reviews seem good. However, the service was terrible. They had us move stations three times while our hands were soaking, which was awkward and frustrating. The stylist that did my manicure was very rude and aggressive. It felt like she was in a rush and was just trying to get it over with. The nails were not a smooth paint job and quality of work lacked. The entire process was very unorganized and my nails were more expensive than my usual place, where I get far better quality. I don't recommend this place and will not be going back. read more

I had scheduled three appointments over the phone. This itself was a tough task. When I arrived for my appointment it seemed as though no one was aware of my scheduled appointments. I visited oasis nail salon on 9-9-2021 to have my underarms waxed. During the session I noticed that the lady was double dipping my wax stick. She used the same entire stick the entire time. I 1st asked if she was new... and she said no. Then I asked why is she using the same stick and putting it back in the wax over and OVER again. She said she throws out the entire bowl of wax after each person. THAT'S A LIE AND SHE KNOWS IT AS WELL AS I DO. To think she is using the same wax on vaginal areas, underarms and your face and sharing germs is disgusting. This is not ok. How on earth are you guys still in business is my question. I'm certified to wax and usually do my own and my immediate family. I have NEVER double dipped waxing myself or my own family... so to think you guys do it after waxing God knows how many different people come through there is just down right NASTY! read more

After getting fired from my job, I wanted to get my nails done and have some time to myself. The woman who did my nails was a super sweet woman and I loved her presence and her kindness did not go unappreciated. But on a technical level I feel a bit dissatisfied. For context for my review, I asked for a full set of acrylics with This specific design using two colors i picked out (Lime for the white, Darker green for the pink) and for my shape I asked for short almond nails. I went in with hopes of getting my nails to all look the same shape-wise so I didn't feel embarrassed by the awkward growth. Here was my experience: Pros: -My nails look like what I asked for and don't look rushed or sloppy -Overall the shape is exactly what I asked for and is the perfect length -The process was quick and I wasn't treated rude or unkindly Cons: -For a full set with a two color design, which before my tip was added was $66 in total, I was not given any treatment for my nails. No cuticle care, no massage, didn't even get the chance to wash the nail dust off of my hands before I left. I was given a quick oil brush treatment around my cuticles before I got up. That was it. I was hoping to relax and while my nails turned out fine, the overall experience was dull -My thumb nails are two different shapes. the right nail is sharper than the left. I didn't notice until the appointment was done or I would have asked for that to be fixed. But it didn't seem to be noticed by her or she didn't care -My nails are warped and not smooth. Some of my nails are well done, there is a smooth curve and they look great. But for a few of them, they are lumpy and warped to create waves in the nail. It's on both my pointer fingers, my left thumb, and my right pinky. It looks rushed and not well done. Overall, the staff was pleasant, the environment felt clean and safe, but the actual nail work was not satisfactory for the price. I am happy my design looks cute but I will most likely be looking for a different salon for my next fill. read more

I wish I would've taken a photo of my nails but I got them redone immediately. I came in for a gel manicure on my natural nails. I had been growing them out because I wanted an almond shape. Before even asking me, he started cutting length off to create the shape I wanted and after I asked him not to cut the rest of my nails he told me that it would be difficult (for him) to do the shape I was asking for. By the time he finished, all of my nails looked different with different shapes and sizes. He asked if the shape was ok, and I kept telling him that they were not the same. One was so crooked that it was extremely noticeable and he told me it was because I have a crooked finger. Sir, what? When he was done, he asked if I liked my nails and I was honest with him. Most places say that's included and after rubbing lotion in for 10 seconds, they are onto the next thing, but it seemed like he spent at least a couple of minutes on each leg. He was also very personable and I enjoyed it. I had a couple rough spots remaining after, but that could be my fault since I am so ticklish and he was probably trying to rush through that bit since I was convulsing like I was getting some kind of shock therapy. He did not trim or clean up any of my hang nails. One of my nails went on crooked. When I pointed it out to him, he says I have to look at it from the top. It is crooked whatever view I look at it! The service was also sub-par. I tipped 15% despite the poor service, but he didn't even say thank you but acted like it was not good enough. My mother has been raving about this place for a while, and after I complained about the overpriced manicure I received from another salon, but yet didn't want to go back to the sweet ladies at the not-so-clean salon, she recommended that I give Oasis a try. They were just what I needed! I walked in to a warm greeting and was escorted over to the wall of the gel selections to choose from. I chose my color and then was introduced to Amber who promptly began my manicure. It's clean, inviting, reasonably priced, and they're good at what they do. Amber gave me a beautiful gel manicure and topped it off with a hand massage with a sweet scented oil that she polished on my hand with a brush - nice touch! read more

Avoid! I tried Oasis for the first time and the last time. A manicure and pedicure sounds like an amazing way to feel pampered and relaxed for a couple hours at the end of a busy weekend. If that is the experience you are looking for, avoid this place! We were assisted immediately and ushered to our pedicure stations, walk ins are welcomed here. Sat down, ready to turn the massage chair on, soak my feet in the hot water, and relax away while my feet get pampered. Sounds amazing right? Wrong! The water was luke warm at best, both mine and my boyfriend's massage chairs were anything short of even a slight vibrate. The ladies doing our pedicures looked anything but pleased to be there; no smiles, no chit chat, and certainly no interest in what they were doing. Our pedicures lasted no longer than 15 minutes [no people I am not exaggerating!] The lady didn't even take all of of my existing polish off before rushing to get through my next paint color. The wait between my manicure and pedicure was over double the time we had already spent at the salon. No need to go into details about the manicure, just check out the picture! Very clean and professional Salon. One of the best designed nail salons on the interior I've been too on the north side. So many are very cluttered and can be unprofessional. That's not the case here. Love the pedicure massage chairs! Let's be honest, that's the best part and I base so much about my experience on the pedicure chair! I came in a Friday afternoon and they were super busy but has plenty of staff on hand to handle appointment and walking. I was a walking and only waited about 15 min. I do suggest making an appointment in advance. Good color selection but they had some trouble matching gel nail color with a regular Polish for the toes. However they did suggest gel on the toes for an exact match, I just didn't want gel on my toes and it is still extra. Loved the pedicure and worth the extra $5 fof the leg scrub and additional massage. They also do eyebrow waxing for an extra $15. It's pricier than I have paid in the past but they didn't a good just shaping and did additional clean up after the way. Very little pain. Overall very impressed. With all the appointments and walk ins they had while I was there they did a great job managing riverine and didn't do a rush job with any of my services. They were more than happy to add on additions during my services. Will be back for sure! read more
