Employees at this location are extremely incompetent. I ordered a New Yorker a perfect egg sandwich, soft boiled eggs, avocado, a Greek salad, turkey, bacon, baked sweet potatoes and a smoked salmon on the side, all that showed up to my door on Uber Eats was turkey, bacon, sweet potato, and a yogurt bowl. They screwed up my Uber eats driver because they stapled to the bag, over that the bag was only half full, with the receipt. I highly suggest placing your order online for quick pickup or else you will be waiting a bit for your order. I was feeling for lunch so opted for their spicy salmon wrap and was nowhere near disappointed. Super flavorful and satiating. I also opted for their green goddess smoothie for the commute, which was just right in consistency and sweetness. My only gripe was that it's a bit pricey but admit that their presentation, decor and quality meets it. If you're into esthetics this place is visually pleasing, a snazzy spot for brunch or lunch with your friends. Now that I know the wait time is a bit I'll be sure to order online, or better yet, get tapped into their rewards membership and score free food for points. I had high hopes for Pure Vida, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming and a little disappointing . First, their online ordering system was a mess. You had to create an account, but even after setting up a password, it wouldn't work--even after I reset it. To make matters worse, there's no way to directly contact anyone at the restaurant. When I called, I was stuck with an automated system that just directed me online (which wasn't working) or to a chat box on their website. It's an impersonal and frustrating way to handle customer service, and there should definitely be a way to contact the restaurant directly. Since we couldn't place an order online, we had to go inside and wait in a long line, then wait even longer for our food. My husband's breakfast burrito was just okay--nothing special--and the mint chocolate protein smoothie he got was honestly one of the worst smoothies he's ever had. I tried it too, and neither of us could stomach it. However, my tuna sandwich was pretty good! I do wish it had more sprouts for that extra crunch, and the bread was a bit tough, which ended up cutting the roof of my mouth. The dessert and espresso I had were the highlights of the meal, and I really appreciated the ambiance--it's a beautifully designed space. I really come here for 2 main things--their salmon salad and Omer's Post Workout Recovery smoothie. They are both consistent and so delicious. I don't even live in Miami anymore, but when I do come to Miami, I ensure that I have enough time to come by for my favorites. The only reason I give this 4 out of 5 stars is that if you do not pre order, it can take forever. Now, walking in to the place, there is a very strong yet pleasant scent (you can even buy it if you want!). There are plenty of menus available for you in case there's a long line and/or arent sure of what you want to eat. When you get to the counter, they ask if you have the app, which I did not, but it was nice because they also ensured I did not have any food allergies. I ordered and got my drink in ~8 min. And truly, the drink is consistent and delicious each time. The staff here is very hit or miss with friendliness. I felt the food runners to be nicer than the cashier, but not saying that anyone is mean. There is an option to eat inside and even some tables outside, but keep in mind you'd be eating next to cars that are short term parked. If you love your experience, there is also some merch you can pick up! All in all, this place is great and if you need something that is guaranteed delicious for lunch, this is the place. read more

The falafel plate, for example, comes with very few vegetables, and after paying $21, I often have to add extra veggies myself just to make the salad feel substantial. The service also needs improvement. Today, my breakfast was served, but I waited 20 minutes for coffee. The table next to me finished their entire meal before receiving theirs. I eventually had to get up and let them know I was ready to leave. While the food quality itself is excellent, the service at the Aventura location is poor. Ordering can also be frustratingly slow--sometimes taking up to 10 minutes--because staff spend too much time walking indecisive customers through the menu, while those who are ready to order are left waiting. At this point, the only way I order from Pura Vida is for pickup, and even then, two out of three times the salad portions are noticeably small. But the service is friendly.  I have an impression that the Pura Vida concept is made for office workers who want to eat healthy. The coffee is delicious, better than in Starbucks, but their cappuccino is rather a latte. Asked for dressing on the side and ot took 20 minutes to vone back (the Kale Ceasar is literally kale, parm shavings and croutons). I have no idea why it took SO long. 2. It was really expensive (ex. Although I've given Pura vida a great review in the past, I just received possibly one of the worst orders I've gotten. Ever. My delivery order took an hour and a half to arrive. The spicy tuna bowl had tuna that was inedible and the pesto chicken ciabatta bread sandwich was so soggy (from sitting there), it was disgusting. I'm so angry that we paid the money we did and received food of this quality. There's also no customer service to contact to help with this bad experience. I think I found my spot for great healthy dishes while not breaking the bank. I checked out the Aventura location, which the ambiance is so gardenlike and inviting. I didn't have time to stay so took my food to go. However the service was impeccable. I ordered the mango salmon salad and added sweet potatoes. It was so fresh and delicious. The mango was just right and great with every bite. The pura vida dressing was citrusy and so tasty. It really elevated the salad. This place is very chic. Nice and relaxing ambiance. We sat outside and enjoyed the nice weather and good people-watching. (It was quite entertaining to watch people try to parallel park.) Oh how I wish we had a location in Saint Johns or Jax. The healthy options here are limitless and I don't feel like recreating these things at home. The CHIA PARFAIT, chia seed & almond mylk pudding base, coconut creme & mango puree, vanilla, natural raw agave, served with vegan gluten-free granola on the side was just what the Dr ordered, or rather just what I ordered. It was so tasty and filling without overfilling. I also got the iced Matcha green tea, Chlorophyll water and cold brew. I could literally feel my whole body relaxing and taking a deep breath as it wasn't having to process the normal gluten, grease and heavy foods I consume. I came here 3 times during our 48 hour stay and I would come everyday if I lived near one. I love that they have so many locations and are continuing to expand.
