Had a taste for some authentic bagels in Miami and we found one. Bagels were delicious. Shining on the outside and chewy on the inside. I ordered the everything mini bagel with the lox scallions schmear. Hubby ordered the plain bagel with blueberry schmear. It was full of real blueberries and sooo good. More like 3.5 stars. Okay so...definitely not New York bagels but you can tell they're trying. The staff is very nice as well. I ordered two omelets and they were TINY and had a bunch of eggshells in them. The funfetti cream cheese was delicious. As for the bagels...I've had worse. They're a good size. The flats are bigger than my head. Tuna salad was basic. For Florida bagel standards this spot is probably fantastic but Bagel Boss in NY is still better. read more

First time here and the location it's in, is in a terrible intersection area which makes me mad to drive too lol. The bagel I got made me happier though, I got the French toast bagel which had chocolate chips in it, with a garlic herb cream cheese and it was fireee. They have a lot of unique cream cheese flavors, but loved this bagel and want to try more options next time. Regarding my ice coffee, I probably wouldn't get ice coffee here again. It was hard for me to get the taste I like with adding the coffee myself and asking for more vanilla flavor. Rather have my ice coffee made ahead. read more

I have been a customer here since it opened....store has everything you would ever want that's fresh and delicious for your Sunday bagel deliciousness. But I am often disappointed with their bagels. I have 2 problems with them. First (I am no baker) their bagels appear dull in color. I am used to a bagel that appears shinny not looking like a piece of bread. The bagels taste good but look drab. Appearance is important with food for sure! Their plain bagels especially look sad. Now for my bigger problem.....I love bagels with toppings on them. So let's just pick one bagel as an example. I love onion bagels. This week I saw two huge trays full of bagels with burnt onion topping. I have given up on their burnt taste. They are ruined. Often with other favorite topped bagels they to also taste burnt. Not the bagel of course but the toppings.i can not be the only one who see these issues. Thanks. read more

They have a really great gluten free bagel. The first order I had --it toasted wrong and the bagel was hard as a rock that I couldn't eat it. I brought it back and showed them and they set it right with a new gluten free bagel- no issue. I am glad I was patient bc the gluten free bagels are amazing and it's unreal that I can go to a kosher bagel shop and join in with everyone now. Thanks Bagel Boss for going the extra mile on that. Let me start this review by saying... I am a bagel snob! I know this and I accept it! I'm from NY and that's just the way it is! I've been in south Florida 20 years and still haven't found a bagel that compares but I continue to try!! Ok so having said this.. I will try not to be so judgmental!! Service- 5 stars Ambiance -5 stars Food -4 stars When I walked in, the place was open and spacious and the menu was delicious style above the counter. The bagels were in the wire baskets and they looked like they had a variety! Service was friendly and quick. I had a sesame bagel with classic tuna salad! Tuna salad was great! Served with a pickle and Cole slaw . Both would good. They put a good amount of tuna on the bagel so that was nice. Bagel was fine. Better than store bought and the chain bagel places but I expected a more NY style bagel in taste. My kids got their bagels toasted and I tried their to see if maybe that's why I wasn't wowed but no, it was the bagel itself that wasn't amazing. Nevertheless, I would come back here because everything else was great and ultimately these bagels are far better than what you can buy in the store and most other places! read more

When I say I want a bagel, this is what I mean! The bagels are made fresh daily, soft and have a thick delicious layer of your preferred cream cheese. Prices are really good for the size and they have free coffee before 9am. Unfortunately, service is not as good as the food. The girl is very rude, I have been here multiple times and they don't even say "Hi or good morning" , they always look bothered when you ask for something, and have an attitude. Brand new place and very impressive. Everything was very fresh and clean. They have a great app to order from that. Gives you a free bagel on your first order and also a five dollar credit for your next visit. My order was waiting for me and perfectly prepared. Lox was on point and sliced perfectly. The scallion cream cheese was the correct texture and the bagel was in the very good range. The hidden gem here is the pumpernickel everything bagel. This place is kosher, but you wouldn't know the difference. They have all kinds of bagel sandwiches and appetizers here. The other local spots around here, such as MO's and Bagel Cove are going to get a run for their money. I really love that. I can pre-order on the app and pick up unlike the other bagel places in the area where you have to wait in line. Service was friendly and quick. Their bagels were good, So why won't I ever eat there and why the four stars? Because they don't have regular black breakfast tea. Never can understand why a place doesn't have a normal breakfast tea (tea doesn't go bad so it's not like it would be a product that if it wasn't sold, regularly would be dumped). However, because they don't have tea, I'll have to continue to go down to the bagel barn on 123rd which has excellent bagels AND hot black tea. read more

Bagels are quite good, as are the spreads. Place seemed clean. Visited for the first time today. I arrived early due to apple indicating a Sunday open of 7 rather than 7:30. I was unaware of this until i paid. They opened the door for me without a response to my "good morning". Upon approaching the counter the young lady standing behind it walked away to the far end without a word. Just generally frosty reception. Zero ambience. Just takeout really. Bagel Boss Aventura has VERY DISAPPOINTING bagels!! I was recently in the area, purchased a dozen plain bagels (to take home, freeze, & reheat one-by-one). The plain bagels had an unpleasant aroma of "onion" & " garlic" and resembled what would be a large-sized, grocery store plastic bag of frozen bagels i.e. poor quality bread/texture and little or no bagel taste. How did I end up here? I had long cherished the wonderful NY/Long Island Bagel Boss bagels (which are excellent!!); I ended-up here as it's listed online under the NY brand.
