This location is inside of Harbourside at the old Burger-Fi location. The inside is tiny for seating, but who wants to sit inside when you can sit on their covered patio and look out over the Loxahatchee River? This spot is ideal for parents, as kids can run freely in the amphitheater area just in front of the store. Location, location, location! Not only did my kids have fun running around, but we also took time after eating to walk on the docks along Harbourside. This was my first visit to a Pura Vida- and it hit the spot in every way! The falafel wrap is delicious, with so many veggies inside and a nice crunchy falafel. We tried a variety of different pastries which were all delicious. My kids ordered a kids meal- the kids acai bowls- which comes in a box for them. This box concept is cool but could use some creativity for making their kids meals over the top! My kids enjoyed the kids acai bowls, and tried some of our savory items with mixed results. Amazing breakfast/lunch spot. Finding a restaurant with quality ingredients and that does not use any seed oils is difficult. The attention to detail for allergies was wonderful. All of the staff are very friendly and we were checked on multiple times to ensure everything was perfect. I loved the pistachio milk option. The breakfast sandwich was amazing. It's a very nice place and atmosphere. The walk up counter service was fine. I ordered the pesto chicken sandwich that laughably came with maybe 6 chips on the side. The sandwich itself was close to $20. I would rate the sandwich as roughly the same size and quality as a pre-fab sandwich you can pick up at an airport kiosk for like $6. I guess the air conditioning was having an issue because it was hotter inside than outside on a 90 degree day. She is helpful and so friendly that I have made this place my #1 stop for coffee, smoothies and other healthier meal options for the last 3 days! About the food- spicy ahi bowl was FIRE! Fresh and excellent balance of all the ingredients. Banana bread was moist and flavorful. The slice was a generous portion- easily a shareable item with a large coffee. The empanadas are good. It was not well thought out texturally as the sweet potato and avocado were all warm but large chunks of mush and the broken up medium hard eggs just kinda added to the large warm chunk madness. Update for this location after 2 pretty bad experiences within the same week. The first one was relatively minor - we went during peak lunch time with 4 people, waited in a moderately long line only to arrive at the front to order and be told they were out of chicken. The employee was kind of rude and seemed annoyed when we took a minute to consult the menu again since most of us planned to get a salad or wrap with chicken. Ultimately we ended up leaving and going somewhere else. Not a huge deal. The next was terrible. My stepmom stopped in to order takeout. I know they make a point to mention the service charge, but in this particular instance, the employee said it in a rude way and made it seem as though adding an additional tip was expected. I totally understand leaving an additional tip for dining in since someone will need to bus the table and clean the dishes, but this order was for takeout. After the order was placed (2 salads, wrap, sandwich) , she went to move the car and when she returned, she realized that she forgot to mention a food allergy and the employee didn't ask - every time I've been to the other location in west palm, they ask. At the counter she said, "I just want to make sure that the dressing that comes with doesn't contain any nuts. My son has a nut allergy." The employee said, "I can't tell you what's in the sauce." She said, "I don't want the recipe. That's not what I'm asking for; I don't need a full list of ingredients I just need to know nuts are NOT in it." And the employee did not offer to check with the kitchen, just repeated that she could not tell. My stepmom asked to speak with a manager because this is a very serious anaphylactic allergy and the manager doubled down! Even after she said all she needed to know was whether it did or did not contain nuts and nothing else. She fumbled around trying to hide some paper and said it was their proprietary sauce. Eventually she said it does not contain nuts, but it should have been a simple yes or no. The complete lack of transparency/ unwillingness to be helpful regarding an allergy was very disappointing. This is a potentially dangerous situation and concern for allergy safety needs to be taken seriously. When we finally got the food home, one salad was missing the chicken, my stepmom got the toasted chicken wrap and it didn't have any cheese, and the other salad had no dressing. 3/4 of the order was messed up. They say the service charge is for "exceptional service and quality ingredients", yet the service was nonexistent and same for the ingredients! I hope that management can address these problems and the staff will be more forthcoming with allergen information in the future. read more

Really pretty place to hang out and get some healthy food. Loved the atmosphere and after ordering my lunch to go kind of wished I'd sat down to eat and enjoy the place. Anyhow I got the egg sandwhich and a cold brew and went to the beach. The sandwich was fresh, well made and tasted good, but was pretty basic. The sauce it comes with was good too but not crave-worthy. I don't see myself needing to eat it here again. Thing is, while there's nothing wrong with the food, the way they charge the customers is really weird and for me, it messes up what would otherwise be a nice experience. Theres a 5% service fee just for ordering plus an extra 10% if you dine in. So a 15% tip is mandatory, despite the fact that you stand in line and order at a counter. Then this fee was also applied to my already $7 cold brew, even tho it comes in a bottle and I had to pick up out of a case and pour for myself. Then they also charged me an extra $1.25 for a splash of milk in it. Not even a special milk, just plain old cows milk. So nearly $9 total for a good, but not at all special, cup of iced coffee. Obviously a few extra dollars here and there isn't going to financially ruin anyone, but having all these sneaky extra charges doesn't make me feel good about going there. Instead of feeling welcomed and valued as a customer it makes me feel like they're out to get me. If you want 5% more for the food, just price it that way on the menu. If not wanting to drink black coffee means a big upgrade, tell me. There are plenty of other small businesses in the area offering food that's just as good, without the tricks and personally, I'd prefer to support them. read more
