However the tall blonde that was working when I came in at 11:30 seemed to be having a bad day because her attitude reflected and the smoothie that I ordered was made extremely fast and when I tasted it upon coming to work none of the ingredients were thoroughly blend and was not drinkable. One of my friends recently turned me onto pure & pressed. I like the pb&j bowl. It fills me up and is a better option than some of the other quick food around town. I've used the online website to order one time - I never did get a notification my stuff was ready, but when I walked in at the eta time it was ready. The location off Huffman has better parking. The one off C street is so crowded with all the other stuff in that strip mall. They have a points system, I haven't received enough points to see what it translates too to redeem. read more

On the south side of Anchorage. Came here to try the açaí bowls. Decided to do the Dragon Fruit. It's more on the expensive side but not a lot of places like this here. Service was good. The bowls themselves are on the smaller side. I feel like this place is more about pressed juice than an açaí bowl so it may be perfect if that is what you are looking for. The dragon mix was alright (not super flavorful) but what the menu does NOT state is that they are going to dump a lot of honey on top. Had I known that, I would have ordered without the honey! Inside of store is nice, clean and modern. Overall, much better açaí bowls in the lower 48 but was alright to try at least once. read more

Well isn't this place cute! It's very bright and has beautiful plants to admire while they make you your smoothie. I really enjoy a good smoothie made from fresh fruit, not sugar juice you find in most coffee stands. I purchased a Dragon Fruit Smoothie and two anti-inflammatory juices to enjoy today and tomorrow. Barista was super kind and helpful during my visit and helped me sign up for their rewards program. I won't be coming here all the time due to the $$ but when I want a healthy boost and don't want to go through the battle of getting my juicer out, chopping fruits and veggies, and then cleaning up, this place will be my spot. Next time I will try the smoothie bowl (first timer with that trend) and maybe even some fancy toast. read more

Out of town and looking for a great Acai bowl and found it here! Their Acai Mauna Kea is off the charts good. I added peanuts butter on top and it was the best. The girls who work here were super friendly and helpful with ordering. The prices are fair and the place is inviting and nice Ambience. I will come back next year when I travel here again. Two things I was disappointed by: gluten free granola was an extra $2, which I thought was really steep. It wasn't that much granola on the chia and smoothie bowls, and why not just make it all GF to start with? The prices already felt high to me for the size you got so I was bummed to have to add an additional $2 on top. They also did not have a public restroom, and we were on a roadtrip and that sure would have been helpful. Especially at a juice bar! Not bad for a fresh, healthier food option though. read more

Wow so so so so so so so ........ many options! I was given a few of the bottles by my boss a few months back and always like to check out places after i am given a sample. I am impressed! Place is clean and beautiful, the items on display are also very cleanly organized. Like an apple store loved it! I got the cold brew press and was impressed with it in so many ways! 1st was WTF is this the 1st time I have had this as an option! Coffee with a smoothly! They are going places! Also got a green something forgot the name sorry to go. I love juice and I think this is something anchorage needed. First impression, very clean. There's maybe about 4-5 two-seater tables. It was a quick in and out. I got the Pink Unicorn Smoothie which was made pretty well. Quite delicious actually. They also have fruit bowls, avocado toast and of course, juices. I'll be going back to try more stuff in their menu. read more

Anchorage needs businesses to step up and be part of the solution in slowing the spread of COVID in our community. This is probably one of the only legit juice bars in Anchorage, if not the only juice bar. I'm a tad disappointed they don't make more of their juices to order. A lot of them are pre-made and they just pull from the fridge. At least they're dated with a use-by date. The food options are pretty limited. We went with the yogurt and granola. Way too much honey at the bottom was way too sweet. The $8 avocado toast was a bit over the top since they only give you one medium sized slice of bread, but at least it's tasty. Bring your wallet for sure. Eating clean in Anchorage does not come cheap. Also bring your patience. Our food order took quite a while even though they didn't appear to be all that busy. Entered the midtown restraint on 2/17/25 at 4:48PM wanting to buy a Cacao Chaser after my massage next door. The young lady said they were closed when I entered. When I told her they still had two minutes before closing time after looking at the time on my phone, the young lady with a heavy sigh said, "What do you need?". I told her and she was I'd that the blender was already washed, but she could sell me a juice. I left. The products are pricy but good, but the service like this will cause me to not come back. I realize these are young workers, but this seems to be more of a norm in more than one occasions. The owner and/or manager needs to improve on training as this has a definite impact on business. This place is pretty amazing! They offer a wide variety of juices, smoothies, and snacks. The juices are amazing and very refreshing. They also offer a juice cleanse pack that would definitely be worth trying. The price is a bit high but it is very high quality products and very fresh. So it definitely is worth it. This shop is very clean and very well kept. The service here is very quick and very helpful. Ended up getting the mermaid bowl, energize and pure blue juice. And they are amazing! I would not come here if you're in a rush.. I've been waiting for 20 minutes for a smoothie and I was the only one in here when I arrived. She appeared to be making phone orders ahead of mine so maybe call ahead unless you have 20-30 to wait for a smoothie. Give them a week or so to get things down unless you have time to wait. Mauna Kea bowl was delicious and smoothie Berry Boss was decent. I will give them another shot after they are open for a bit. This review is not about the food or the juices. Both of those are excellent. Have you ever been to a restaurant or an establishment that makes you really feel that you're more of a burden than a customer? That's how I felt while visiting this location today. If that's your thing, you may really love this place. It seemed that the employee taking my order really had better things to do than to take an order for 12 juices today. There was nobody else in the store and she had no intention of giving me the slightest hint of customer service. It seemed that all she wanted to do was go hang out with her friends in back. I come to this location a lot. We order a lot of juices, I like the avocado toast. Usually, it's a pretty good time. Most people are pretty friendly. However lately, this has been a growing trend and I've finally seen it enough that I decided to write a review. I really don't mind paying $10-$12 for a 16oz juice. It is definitely convenient to not have to break out my juicer and make one myself. That said at the end of the day, I own a juicer, and it doesn't take that long to make my own. Considering the current trend of customer service at this location, I might start using my juicer more and start visiting this place less. I wanna love this place so bad. I'm currently fasting and I have placed 3 orders all online. The first order I placed in advance as suggested. When I arrived to pick up my order. It was incomplete bc they were expecting a delivery that never came. I also tried to purchase the special they were running to be told. We don't have all the juices and we can't substitute. I said ok I'll come back to pick up the juices I paid for. Placed another order online arrived agin to be told we are out of an item that I ordered. Ok I'll come back reluctantly bc I'm fasting and I need the juice I've already paid for. Placed another order yesterday and when I arrived I asked her you're out of something aren't you. She said yes we were supposed to get a delivery and it never came in. I can call you when it comes in or refund you. Please refund me bc atp this is annoying. I'm not normally one to write a review on anything. This is actually my first yelp review ever. I have never tried juicing, but I figured with my upcoming road-trip to the lower 48, because of lack of food options along the way, I would try a cleanse. Initially I asked the super sweet girls at the front to assist me and they were so nice and so knowledgeable about everything and got me set up for a five day cleanse. I was told they would call me and I could pick it up before I left for my trip. It was actually noted on the order sheet that I was leaving town on Friday. I got a call from someone on Wednesday saying half of my order was ready. Thursday morning I called back, no answer but I left a voicemail. Stephanie, the owner called me back and told me the rest of my order could be picked up on Monday.... I told her that wasn't going to work because I was not going to be in the state. She was painfully rude and told me that it was not noted on the order sheet that I was going to be leaving town and this isn't how their process normally works. Then she called the girls that I originally spoke to and called me back. She said that two of the juices that I ordered would have to be substituted because she didn't have the right ones for the cleanse. Not a big deal but when she was talking to me, she sounded mad at me for not being able to do what she wanted (pick up on Monday). Stephanie then told me that she would get my juices to the store by 12 if not earlier. I came at 12:06 because I was in the area running errands and they weren't there. I waited in the car because the girls inside called her and she said she was just packing them up. 15 minutes later, she pulled up, dropped them off and left. I thought it was kinda weird that she didn't stay to give them to me or apologize (I had expressed my frustration to the girls prior as I'm sure she knew). As a business owner myself, I understand mistakes happen and things get missed (the clear note at the bottom of the order form that I was leaving town on Friday), although I don't think it's okay for a professional business owner to talk to a customer in this manner. Especially when I'm paying almost $300 for a cleanse. I'm definitely not a sensitive person but the way I was spoken to almost made me cry. She made me feel like I did something wrong. I was offered no compensation and didn't get an apology from Stephanie. Although I'm moving out of state, I will not recommend this place to any of my Anchorage friends, or clients. I support healthy living and there definitely needs to be more options for juice bars in Anchorage but I absolutely don't support business owners who think they are above their customers. One last thing, the prices are very high here, I assume it helps make the payment on Stephanies brand new Tahoe. Hopefully the employees are making above minimum wage. Still excited for my cleanse and hopefully my juices are good! Literally the only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because of the sweet girls at the counter (I think I forgot to mention this was the midtown location). read more

When it comes to juicing, you can do it yourself--buy a juicer, plan a menu or buy a juicing app, grocery shop for ingredients (sometimes you need to go to more than one store to get all the ingredients), prep the ingredients, juice the ingredients, store juices in containers, and then clean up--or you can support a local business like Pure & Pressed Juice. Something has changed and it's not good. The bottled juice is pre-bottled and good. But the smoothies and bowls that are made to order are lacking. Smoothies have been WARM!! Bowls have been runny like water! DO NOT... repeat... DO NOT order a smoothie or bowl without watching them make it!! They omit items and substitute items without telling you. We ordered Green Maca smoothies and they were gross! They were WARM not cold and there was no banana... and tasted like water and protein powder. The bowl was so much like WATER you needed a straw.
