This is a long overdue review for a really cool place called Re{x) Designer Furniture Store. I've…read morebeen going there since 2016, and I think it's amazing. At Re{x), there are three super talented people who work there (one of them being the owner) who know a lot about fancy furniture. They've been doing this for more than 50 years combined! They're really good at finding special furniture that's really old, really nice, or even one-of-a-kind. They're also on Instagram, where they share awesome pictures of each item (however come into the store where you can see the complete inventory...its a warehouse space and its HUGE!) They have a really nice website, rex.haus. If you like things that look really nice in your home, this is the perfect place for you. I also like the fact that the staff here are SO friendly, helpful and nice and I've always had great interactions with them every single time. There are many different styles of furniture at Re{x). They have stuff from a long time ago that's still super cool, things that look really modern, and even furniture made by famous designers. Some of these cool designers are Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Marcel Breuer, Vico Magistretti, Phillipe Starck, Knoll, Drexel Declaration, Saarinen, Haywood-Wakefield, Charles and Ray Eames, Paul Evans, Poul Kjaerholm, Florence Knoll, Goerge Nakashima, Gio Ponti, Hans Wegner, Charlotte Perriand, Eero Saarinen, Carlo Mollino, Marco Zanuso, Anchille Castiglioni, Franco Albini, and Gaetano Pesce. What's even more spectacular is that they have the famous and very Iconic UP Chair by Gaetano Pesce,... its the anniversary edition and in a silver metallic fabric. Love It! Check this store out... you won't regret it So, if you want to see really neat furniture, have a lot of fun, and locate that hard to find designer piece that you have been looking all over the world for....you should definitely go and visit Re{x) Designer Furniture Store in Palm Springs. You'll love it!

The store has a very wide selection of the most popular styles and the prices are slightly higher than in Italy, considering the fact that this is a premium furniture designer it is still very affordable. We recently purchased a set of bedroom furniture and had a great experience. The set arrived within 2 months as we were told upon placing the order and we were able to get a delivery on a Saturday (an additional fee, since this store partners up with an independent delivery service!). Abel followed up with us on the status of the order and answered all our questions immediately. I will definitely purchase from this store again when I start a new home project.

A couple of years ago, I bought a couple pieces of furniture from Pomp and after being overseas for a couple of years recently returned to LA and decided to return to this shop. Today, I visited the store and was never greeted or asked whether or not I needed any assistance. The person that worked at this store never said, a word to me and my family during our visit at the store. Not to mention, they are still carrying some of the same old furniture and art pieces from at least 5-7 years ago, from when I last visited. I wouldn't buy anything from this store/owner due to lack of customer service and outdated inventory. West Hollywood has better finds in italian furniture pieces. Pomp is not so pomp, but rather inelegance at its finest.

First of all, I am an interior designer for over 32 years. For my more budget projects, I've been…read moreshopping HomeGoods in various location in Los Angeles. I have always found the staff, friendly and helpful. A year ago, I decided to move to Palm Desert and and continued my Residential Interior Design here. I've been to the store a few times. I am not sure what is happening at this location, "Palm Desert CA " , but the staff looks extremely unhappy. specifically one gentleman who calls himself the store manager but he is not. I have seen him picking fights with different clients almost every time I go there. I have tried to strike a friendly note with him, trying to calm him down. At one occasion, out loud, he was telling a client that his job is what people call "choose wisely" at the beginning of ones career. Once he was staring down at a client to a point where the lady started yelling " Are you staring me down? may I talk to your manager?" With a great attitude, he responded, "you are talking to him." Long story short, last time I was there I was doing heavy shopping for a 85 year-old woman. Nothing big knickknacks and kitchen items and Home Staples. I was doing a small project for her here at the desert. she has various ailments and I had to be careful choosing the right products for her, which is light enough and easy to operate. Thus it took me over two hours in the store to do selection of various items.. I think that had raised a red flag with the staff. I was treated so poorly there. I had over five workers approaching me and asking " can we help you with something? it seems you've been here for a long time . Every time I would respond, yes I am buying for a client. I need to make the right selections for to clients situation. Sorry this takes time. I do understand store security is important and shrinkage is a problem, but not everybody is a thief . I do believe I dress up nicely and present present not like a bum, so not sure what the issue was ? At the end, yes, the same man approached me aggressively with the same question. May we hrlp you? You have been here for a long time . I broke out in anger, saying "is there a problem sir? " I'm buying over $800 worth of products here. Nevertheless, I was followed by him until I went to the checkpoint and paid for the products and left the building. Funny enough, he knows me from previous purchases from him, which always has been over five to $600. I tried to make a complaint to their head offices. I got a email saying that my concern has been sent to the store manager Jennifer Martinez and she will get back with me shortly . This was a month ago and no one did. again, it's a pity. I love the store and most probably I will be shopping at their other locations, but this one definitely has some major staff issues . I will not be returning there. Who would like to be treated like that?......
