So utterly disappointed in this studio. Owner and front girls are out of their mind. They won't let me cancel my memebership.. even if you call and they TELL YOU you're not going to be charged, they will charge you anyways. I am in the middle of a case with my credit card because they refuse to let me stop! I am a business owner myself, and I work and live in bradenton, so I am in utter shock and awe that this is how the owner would treat a local with influence in this community. I tried being reasonable, I tried calling an ENTIRE WEEK before I was supposed to be charged, they told me I could cancel and then with no warning at all, charged my credit card AGAIN for $130. Did they call to tell me I HAD TO COME another full month? No. When I called to complain all of a sudden there is a 30 day requirement for cancellation, and she refuses to refund my money even after I was told I wasn't going to be charged. I cannot even express how shocked I was that the OWNER - Alex, would practice this kind of sketchy business. But beware. They will take your money and never let you stop paying. read more

Pure Barre is the best workout! They offer classes in the studio as well as virtually. Every class is different and you are able to work at your own intensity. The teachers are awesome! I highly recommend Pure Barre Bradenton Northwest! I visited this studio while on a 2-week vacation (I took 6 classes) and loved it! Michelle (the owner) and Morgan (on staff) are super friendly and helpful. The studio is beautiful / recently renovated. I'm a member of another Pure Barre studio out of state and was very happy with my experience here in Bradenton. Everyone made me feel right at home. I took the most classes with Cami -- she is an excellent instructor! She's knowledgeable, encouraging and fun and made me feel so welcome! I can't wait to visit the studio again on a future vacation for the fantastic workouts and feeling of belonging :). read more

So I have waited until class #70 in a row for this review. First impressions were daunting and in hindsight they were flawed by my insecurity. The Pure Barre location gives off a high end boutique feel and if you are the least bit insecure, you'll immediately feel out of place and like everyone around you knows you don't belong there. (Think Pretty Woman shopping scene.) I was greeted in a very friendly fashion and noticed that the surroundings were very clean and trendy. As I got set up by the instructor who was telling me about tucking and some of the basics moves, I quickly noticed that everyone around me could have been a teenie tiny spokesperson for Lululemon. Mirrors were everywhere and all I could see was my out of shape body. Suddenly the music came up and the instructor was telling us to lift our knees. Two minutes into the class and I was desperately looking for a way to escape this horrible thing called Pure Barre. All I could think was that I'd never make it through these "paper clip" moves. (I have been through boot camps, gone through intense plyometric workouts, pushed hard by my trainer and never quit...but I wanted to quit this torture.) I was now drenched ten minutes in and wanted out, but was stuck in the front of the room with mirrors everywhere and now the doors were closed to the studio and I was trapped. At the end of the 55 minutes I went home and vehemently told my husband that I'd never do that again...except after a week went by, my regular workout routine seemed so mundane and didn't give me nearly the burn and sweat that I got at Pure Barre in 15 minutes. So back I went. This time, I invested in their sticky socks and set my mind to push through the pain and the inevitable shake. I committed to myself that I would go for 30 days straight and then judge it. Over those next 30 days I have met so many wonderful people and have found the staff to be incredibly supportive and caring. While I don't have the Lululemon physique, I quickly realized the only one looking around was me. Pure Barre takes serious focus and a true PBer doesn't notice anything but what the instructor is saying and their positioning. After 30 days, not one injury and dramatic results came about. I also discovered that the class flies by. It is fast paced with great music. I then decided to continue this journey for another month vowing not to miss a day and here I am on day 70. I've lost 30 lbs and over 20". I have nothing but great things to say about PB Bradenton. The manager, Lauren, is a sweetheart who makes everyone feel special when they come in for the day and she offers killer classes. I take morning classes with Mandi and Bri - both of whom are amazing, fun and great instructors. (Mandi is always trying new moves so look out for some intense shaking and burning.) Yes, the price is much more than a gym membership-but you can't argue with the results. This is a great investment in me. The biggest tips I'd offer to those trying this out is to get a pair of shashi sparkly socks, take a towel, and get to class early for the best spots. read more

I was so nervous about joining Pure Barre because I didn't know what to expect, but I have loved every minute at Pure Barre Bradenton! Every single one of the instructors is amazing at what they do. I love that they walk around the class to help with your form and how encouraging they are throughout the whole class. I love this studio and I'm thankful there is a Pure Barre in Bradenton. The studio is new, very clean and so is their equipment. This is a hard and intense workout. I just got back into the studio after taking 15 months off due to having my first child. I'm pretty out of shape and this work out kicked my butt - literally. They sell cute work out clothes that resemble Lululemon. Bring socks with sticky bottoms. I did pilates for 2 years before becoming pregnant and a lot of these moves remind me of pilates. Your butt, thighs and core will be transformed from this type of work out! Looking forward to getting back into pre-baby shape with this studio's help. read more

I started barre classes for the first time to get in shape after having my baby 5 months prior. I primarily do yoga so this idea put me out of my comfort zone but I thought I would give it a shot. I'm so glad I did! On day one Lauren was friendly and welcoming. She gave me a tour of the studio and helped me get set up then taught class. The class was an unbelievable workout but also fun because of the great music and positive motivational feel. I was hooked and quickly then encouraged my mother in law to give it a chance. She loves it now too. I bring this up to point out that this is an awesome workout for all different ages. Classes are intense but low impact with subsequent low risk for injury. Since day 1 with Lauren I've taken classes with Mandi, Bri, Noelle, and Kymberli. They are all so friendly and helpful and teach great classes. I've already noticed positive changes in my body and my mood and would recommend this studio to anyone looking for a similar experience. read more
