I've been attending classes 5-6 times per week for the past 6 months and it's unbelievable how much strength I've gained and how little pain my body is in now. The classes are tough depending on the instructor but I never leave super exhausted like I would if I did a weightlifting or cardio workout. I have been going to classes here for 3 years. The instructors are lovely and are very good about changing out routines regularly. I do wish that they would have a Saturday morning Level 1 class on Saturday morning at 9:30 like they had before Covid. It was always well attended. Also, watch out for some blonde woman/attendee who is going to tell you how to enter your reformer - Pretty shocking rudeness. Being new to Pilates this club exceeded my expectations. Not anything like other gyms. This is more of a boutique environment. Small classes (12) so the trainer can provide feedback to ensure each participant is performing the move with the correct form and pace. Having taken several classes with different trainers they are all very good! Loving Pilates! I have been going to classes for almost a year and I still love it! Amazing instructors, huge class schedule, with a variety of classes that will work for any ability level. Each class is different, even if it's the same class in name. You don't leave feeling like you have to crawl out of there due to muscle fatigue, but if you're doing it right (not flying through the exercises, and making sure to engage your muscles), you can definitely feel it! Overall, I've never had a bad experience at this or any of the local studios, and I've thoroughly enjoyed the community that's been created in town! read more

I would hesitate to ever sign up for a club membership again based upon my experiences here. I cancelled my membership in writing and received confirmation that I would not be charged again. However, the following month I was still charged. I disputed the charge after I was told it was a "glitch" and now am being sent late payment notices from them. The owner was unprofessional and rude and the manager was incompetent. At least the central billing office people are trying to help! They let me know this is a common issue with this studio. I also had 10 classes I had already PAID for left open and they still want me to pay for their mistake. BEWARE!!! read more

I think Peter Kilcullen has done a great job with this Pilates location. He has 2 locations one near our home and one in Sarasota. Clean. Great equipment. Needs better instructors. I've only been to one after the intro class. She's there all the time. She's terrible. I get it now. Its a bait and switch. They give you a great instructor for the first class then you get someone that is probably being paid very little and has no idea what they are doing fir the regular classes. AVOID them. read more

I love this place BUT I have to give it 1 star because they OVERSOLD their memberships and you cannot even get your classes that you paid for. So beware!! If you are paying a monthly fee, you probably won't get to take all your classes. The classes book up to 1 month in advance. They will encourage you to be on the waitlist. However, you may get notified for the class 1/2 hr before it starts. read more

I joined this club 3 days ago and this is my second class. I haven't done any kind of excercise in over seven years. Bad knees, hip replaced, and constant b ack neck and shoulder pain. I wish I found Pilates twenty years ago! I'm sure some of my pain comes from working out badly. The instructors ensure you are doing everything correctly, and the movements are very precise and low impact but you are working out better and smarter. I especially like that they have classes until 8pm. That is very hard to find. I work in st pete and I still have a choice of 2-3 classes when I get home. I had done pilates for 10 or so years up north. I tried to find a place near me but with no luck until two months ago. I love this place. the instructors are all wonderful, friendly and awesome. They take the time to make sure you are in the right position for the exercises. I actually enjoying coming here and try to come 3 or 4 times a week. A hard work out, but it is so rewarding. After not having ever experienced Pilates before, I had some major anxiety over even inquiring about classes at Club Pilates Braden River. Once I got up the nerve to go into the studio, all anxiety was gone! Right from the beginning the general manager and instructors made me feel so welcome. The classes are small and the instructors are concerned about safety first and no one injuring themselves from improper form. I started out paying for the 8 time a month package, but quickly upgraded to unlimited times a month because I fell IN LOVE with Pilates! It is safe to say I am addicted! read more
