Multiple witnesses came forward. I was assured it would be handled. It wasn't. The individual was allowed back into the club and continued spreading false, degrading, and misogynistic comments about me to other members and staff. Despite months of detailed reports to senior leadership and HR, Equinox took no meaningful action. Instead, I was met with delays, deflection, and ultimately told they "cannot engage" unless other members contact them directly. Translation: the victim does the work, the harasser faces no consequences. Even more disturbing, staff appeared to tolerate--or participate in--gossip, reinforcing a hostile and misogynistic environment. For a company that markets itself as inclusive and empowering, Equinox chose corporate protection over member safety. If you are a woman and expect to be taken seriously when reporting harassment, this is not the place.

Arriving the woman running the place (i assume Betty) ignored us for at least 10 minutes. She was busy writing, with the other kids and ordering a teenager on how to do things. Kids that were already there for camp were exercising on machines built for adults like the elliptical. In my opinion completely not safe for anyone younger than 10. So for the Day... my kids said they were on the machines for most of the morning. Then they took a walk to a local restaurant eat lunch. Came back and they played games then watched a movie until I picked them up. Oh then they exercised again. My kids said that the teenager there ran the camp mostly. The adult (I'm assuming Betty) was behind the desk the entire time. I've written a review on here before and it always gets deleted. I say save your money. Spend a little more on a camp that you know you're kids will benefit from. Also... I was a subway one time during lunch and my friends and I had a couple tables they were saving. Betty and a group of like 12 kids stormed in and she was yelling that she had a reservation telling us to move. The employees told her that she didn't and were shocked at her behavior. She realized that we were not budging because we started eating our food and stormed out with her group of campers. This place should be shut down.

Crunch Gym has become dirty, poorly managed, and unreliable. The gym is advertised to open at 5:00 AM, but that rarely happens. Some days it opens at 5:10 or 5:20, and on January 2, 2026, it didn't open until 6:30 AM. Management is noticeably absent, and when members try to raise concerns, the response is dismissive--essentially "go somewhere else." Unfortunately, cancelling a Crunch membership is not nearly as easy as joining. Overall, this location shows a lack of care for cleanliness, accountability, and basic customer service.

I visited the YMCA today because I called and was asking about getting a 50m swim test done here…read more We were told to come in and make an appointment. Patrick, who works at the front desk, was extremely helpful and spent a good amount of time getting us to where we needed to go for a swim test. We were there to make an appointment but he called up Henk to ask if he could help us with this process. Henk was so friendly and helpful as well. Instead of making an appointment for another day, they asked if we had our swim clothes with us (thank goodness I prepared myself just in case) and had us do the swim test right then and there. Henk emailed us the letter with his signature a few hours after we completed the test. We were not charged anything for using the facilities and getting a test done. This was by far the best experience and the staff were so accommodating to us. I've been calling and emailing the Stamford YMCA for the same test and it was not as consistent as Darien (it took two weeks, two calls, and numerous emails to get help from them). Darien was extremely helpful and we are so appreciative of the staff there! Patrick is new to the YMCA but he was amazing. We greatly appreciate his help in contacting Henk for us. Henk's last day is Thursday so we came at the best time. He was incredibly friendly and excited for us as to why we needed this swim test. The facilities were amazing and the decor was beautiful. This was probably the nicest YMCA I've ever been to. Thank you Darien YMCA!! You really helped us with this!!
