This has been one of the most frustrating and unprofessional customer service experiences I've encountered. The billing practices are unclear at best and misleading at worst. Even gym memberships handle cancellations more transparently. The cancellation process was unnecessarily difficult, and more than a month later I am still being charged for services that were never provided. I was billed multiple times with the explanation that charges would be prorated, yet the amounts were consistently incorrect. Even the very first charge did not match what was agreed upon, and the errors continued for months. Customer service only made the situation worse. Staff were dismissive and unprofessional, even going so far as to imply we were "too stupid" to understand prorated billing. We understand it perfectly well--proration typically results in an adjusted charge or refund, not repeated additional fees. Overall, this experience has been extremely disappointing, and I cannot recommend this business based on what we experinced. read more

Be warned: They will close for long periods of time and won't mention how thay affects the schedule or charges. On top of this, they implement a nonsense cancellation policy where they require 45 days notice. However, we cancelled and emailed, and never heard back. We then had to call and only 12 days later we had to sign the termination. That was not processed for a other 2 weeks and only then did the start these "45 days". You better believe that we were charged for all of this time. We kept calling to discuss this but ultimately the owner ignored and never bothered to call back. Beware - there are plenty of other businesses to try out. read more

This place is really bad. The staff is nice but my kids didn't do a lot when they performed. And the older kids got all the attention and none of the younger kids got any spotlight. Please improve. This dance studio is the cutest for toddlers and kiddos alike. My toddler and I came on a trial basis and omg, it was the cutest thing. The dance was partly storytelling and pretend. My little girl loved it. I didn't sign up because the studio was a little far from my home. If it was closer, I would've signed up in a heartbeat. read more

Can't say enough good things about Soulfire. Both his hip hop teacher (Ms. Dayna) and tap teacher (Ms. Maya) are amazing. They helped him prepare for a large dance competition and he did very well. Looking forward to their recital next week. Also Ms. Nadia takes fantastic pictures. read more

My three year old daughter loves coming here! Her teacher, Ms. Laurie, is wonderful and the littles get to play dress up while learning dance. So fun! Elsa even sends a little video to your child after their trial class, and the owner/staff have all been kind and welcoming. read more

Amazing environment, Gregory is incredibly engaged and motivated for each class, He gets a 10! Instructors are patient and understanding of each level of experience. Only reason for my four star rating is the following.... I pay a monthly fee for my daughter to take as many classes as time permits me to take her, she loves the interaction and her instructors, where I have the issue is one of the instructors has their child there at all times and many times in the classrooms, many times running up and down the hall, he is a distraction to the class and to those who pay a monthly fee to be a part of the studio, I of course am assuming the child is not required to pay a monthly fee, if I am wrong then I apologize, but if not, it's a big distraction and is causing me to think about relocating to another studio. read more

For privacy reasons I am not using my real name. If I was writing a review for one of their teachers, Miss Anastasia I would give this review 5 five stars, however I'm not. I have been with them for a long time and over the years the owners treatment towards me and other students has progressively gotten more and more abusive. There are numerous students, including me that have left Soulfire after their 2019 end of year performance. At first, I loved Soulfire, the owners were very kind, welcoming, and it was an all around positive environment. However, over the past two years things have drastically changed for the worse. The way the owners have treated me and other teenagers was extremely hurtful and so uncalled for! There was one student there that was targeted more than others, and everyone knew it. If we ever even politely questioned anything, we would get berated and name called. For example, the studio has ordered their required leotards that we paid for. The quality was very inappropriate! They were not an acceptable leotard for a female teenager to be wearing. We all politely addressed the situation to the owners and they responded by telling us that we were spoiled and entitled. They claim to follow the ABT curriculum, however this is not true. This became very clear to all of us when we were REQUIRED to compete in YAGP. (Youth American Grand Prix) It became apparent that we were way below the standard of the other dancers. YAGP was an embarrassing moment for us and it should have been the same way for the owners. Soulfire is a toxic environment and I do not recommend studying dance there. They are going to deny all of these allegations but they are nothing but true, because the owners feel they can do no wrong. None of us understood why they treated us the way that they did. We helped them with costumes, cleaning, classes, etc. But all we got in return was attitude. I hope this review brings light to the abusive nature at Soulfire Studios. read more

I signed up for Dance Fitness with Cassie through Classpass. Now prior to actually committing to the class I called the studio and inquired if it was similar to Jazzercise or Zumba and was it okay for beginners. I was told it was good for beginners and similar to Zumba. I'm not too familiar with dance studios but I could tell that they offer a lot of classes for children as there were dance related items for sale in the lobby for children and in a back room there were children's costumes. I met Cassie prior to class beginning and let her know I was new and the aerobic type cardio I had experience with was Jazzercise and step aerobics. Now I know I am no Beyoncé but one song in and I could tell this class wasn't for me. Cassie was nice enough but there was no real cuing and even if there was not sure I could have heard it over the music. About midway through class she explained that they start a new routine at the beginning of the month and that is why everyone else was familiar with the routine. Lucky me I decided to attend the last week of the month so you can imagine what a sh*tshow that was. Based on other reviews customers love this place and it appears to be a popular spot to enroll your child in dance classes. My review is based solely on my experience and perhaps if I had caught the class on day one of a new routine being introduced it might have been more positive. read more

My oldest, whom has been with this studio since the age of 3 and is now 8 years old, just had a dance "promotion party" as she is advancing levels and the dances and routines are getting more serious. They really took the time to educate parents on the history of ballet and what to expect moving forward. The owners are the sweetest and very involved in all aspects of the studio. The whole staff is wonderful! The front office has the best costumer service and they are always willing to answer questions/ help me get my schedule in order with juggling two dancers! All the teachers are such beautiful dancers and really take The time to get to know each dancer and help them improve on their skills. Not to mention the "storybook" dance classes are absolutely adorable and the reason we started with this studio! Love everything about Soulfire! read more

My granddaughter attends Soulfire Studio and absolutely loves her teachers. She is always so excited to perform for us and tell about the history of ballet. The conservatory is well balanced, informative study that not only teaches the student ballet it also give leadership and mentoring from older students. My grand daughter likes to watch the older girls as they demonstrate or help teach a skill.
