Impossible to have conversations, ignored request from the family to turn the music down. No awareness of the space or acoustics or sound mixing. I visited Club Pure for an event, so the club was closed down for us. It's a nice looking place, spacious, the bathrooms are well kept. I can see how it may be a different story when it's not booked for a private party. We had an open bar for beer/wine and a cash bar for spirits. The spirits were overpriced, so everyone basically stuck with beer and wine (until about 3/4 of the way through the night when people started ordering shots). We also had stationed apps and a stationed meal. The food was fine - your basic fried greasy apps and then a decent selection of main course foods. If you are looking to host a party for 60+ people, this is a good spot to choose. They are well priced per person, definitely check them out. read more

If you're really bored....then maybe worth going. I've been there to see bands, and to dance. The drinks are inconsistent. My friends are who makes anyplace fun! Thank goodness we don't live far. Went to see Freak here on 9/30/17. Band was good, venue was pretty bad. First of all, they force you to use their valet parking. The layout is ok, and the sound quality was decent. The real problem was the incompetence behind the bars. The have a double sided bar, probably 7' on each side, that two to three bartenders could not manage(with bar backs). They even stopped serving on one side, and still couldn't handle serving people. The second bar near the stage was no better. Both bars kept running out of beer, so you didn't know what was available at any given trip. They either had none at all, or a different selection than the last time. Horrible bar management. With the size of the bar, one competent bartender should be able to handle it. This aspect of the venue was a joke. I don't see myself going back here for any reason. read more

I hired Pure Event Group for my son's bar mitzvah. They were punctual and attentive from the beginning. MC Ricky was phenomenal! He had both the boys and girls up dancing. The ENTIRE time! He was low-key, yet energetic and the kids all said it was THE BEST PARTY ever! He was adorable and personable to boot. His style fit our party to a T. Even my 83 year old dad was dancing! We all have different reasons for going to certain venues. In Amy from Freehold's review she mentioned that there was not many people there and the music was very loud. In my case these are the conditions in which I prefer to be in. Amy seems like a nice girl who is going out to meet Strange. I on the other hand go out with Strange in hand. I do not want anyone to see me with my new Strange and I also do not want to hear all of the small talk my Strange wants to say. The service at the bar can not be bad if the place is empty? Correct? This is an event center which has inconsistent days of operation and require different staffing for the myriad of shows they host. Real bartenders have real jobs not jobs where they say hey do you know anyone that can bartend this weekend we have a big event. These reviewers do not realize that the bartenders don't care if you do not like your drink? They will never see you again. Wise up genius they pool the tips. The hardest working bartender makes the same amount as the person who works the least. Your new world that you embrace. Everyone gets a pat on the back at the end of the night and a participation trophy. Not to mention an envelope of cash. Next time you are sitting in one of your undergrad classes looking out the window wondering how great it is going to be when you finish college and start at $100k plus benefits tell your "Professor" you want people to perform at their best but think they are just like everyone else. Pure Event group was absolutely amazing. The planning process was incredibly easy and their staff was super attentive and patient with us, even getting songs we wanted that weren't in their database. We had a New Year's Eve wedding and Joe and his team truly made it a party. Guests of all ages were on the dance floor all night long and they read the crowd really well to keep everyone happy. The timeline they put together was seamless and made the night really flow. They worked wonderfully with our venue and multiple guests told me afterwards that they were the best DJs they'd ever heard. Last summer we hired Pure Events to DJ/MC and photograph our wedding at the W Hotel Hoboken in Nov. 2017. We had a great experience from start to finish. Our first interaction and continued conversations were with Joe V. He was fantastic to work with. He was always very responsive, and we definitely hit it off with him when we met in person to discuss the overall vision for our wedding. He gave us great advice about how to pace the night to keep our guests happy and entertained. My wife is big into music, and it was really easy to use their software which lets you list your must-plays and other special requests. We were lucky enough to have Joe as our MC on our big day, and he and the DJ kept our guests on their feet all night. People danced that we had never seen dance before! We've had so many people come up to us and say they had a blast at our wedding, we couldn't be happier with how the night turned out. Our photography package was also through Pure, and we can't say enough great things about our photographer Peter Rigo (who we reviewed separately on the Knot). Pure Event group saved our wedding! ! ! We had booked a DJ about 8 months before our party and were aggravated with so many things I can't waste the time here. We contacted Joe Violante and he saved us. MC Mikey "Drama" Satira was incredible. The web page Joe sent us to compile information and get all our ducks in a row was incredible. The DJ provided exactly what we wanted. The staging and lighting added the effects we wanted. I can truly say that from top to bottom, Pure Event Group gave us the Adventure of a Lifetime we were looking for ! Everyone at the wedding raved over and over how amazing everything was. Attended an event 2/18/18 $15 charge at door/$10 with an online coupon.....but, no mention anywhere about Valet parking $10....no free parking....claims the township doesn't permit people to walk through the parking lot ????....many people angry over the deception and cost to park.....drinks pricey.....stingy with air conditioning....overall....friends had to make it an evening....we'll not go there again....clean bathrooms, good dance floor & stage....but, too expensive and unaccommodating....could be a great place to dance.... read more

Pure Event Group was amazing starting with the initial phone conversations with them. Once we chose them they set up your own personal client planning web tools. These tools include a planning form and online music request system. You review all of your inputs with one of their coordinators a few weeks before your wedding. They make it so easy. The music for our ceremony was executed flawlessly and was so beautifully done. From the ceremony, to the cocktail hour to the reception it was perfect. Everyone raved about the music at the reception and kept asking us how we found them. DJ Jason D and MC Mikey were unbelievable. Jason mixed and transitioned from song to song like a pure pro. MC Mikey kept everyone engaged but was by no means overbearing. He was personable and kept things moving smoothly with all of the speeches and special dances. We could not be happier with our choice of Pure Event Group, they made our wedding day magical.
