My friends and I were in this small town on a trip and we decided to stop by for spontaneous piercings on a Friday afternoon. When we walked in, we were greeted by Sarah, who was really helpful and sweet. I got a second lobe and my friend got two first lobe piercings. The price was $25 for one (any piercings) or $40 for two which is a really good deal compared to other shops. It was a clean shop and she used a needle instead of gun. One of my other friend had her industrial fall off and wanted to put it back in but the bottom had closed up. Sarah was extremely nice and offered to repierce it for free, so she only paid for the jewelry itself. She even gave us care packages with sea salt, shot cups to clean our ears, cotton swabs, and even candy. Sarah was super helpful and everything about the whole experience was wonderful. P.S. My brother being a truck driver we initially met with the owner Chris to decide on exactly what we wanted to have done. So he got it together in less than a day. Chris has been doing my tattoos since last year. I always bring my daughter with me hes always been really humble and now that he finally opened up his shop it's even way better than ever. He has a mini movie theater set up in the lounge so friends or family waiting can watch a few movies while you get your tattoo and also the cafe across the street is pretty good although they are a bit pricey. OK so bit of a backstory, I have gotten my ears pierced three times before and all the times they have gotten infected, not knowing previously that I'm allergic to gold. And every single time I've done it at either Claire's or piercing pagoda which is far from being the greatest place to go to apparently. So I had done some research into getting ear piercings done at a tattoo shop. Of course I was super skeptical and scared since I do have a fear of needles but I went anyways. And previously had gone into pure heart to get it done, but Sarah Jones (the body piercer/tattoo artist) was out until today, so I didn't mind waiting or stalling because I'm afraid of needles. I got in there and was greeted by the owner Chris, who I'd met before when I came in and Sarah. I did the liability/emergency form and she took me back to do the placement and piercing. I was incredibly nervous about it since I'm a wimp when it comes to pain. She went through the process and said she could hand do the piercing or get the piercing gun...at first I wanted it hand done but Sarah explained that it takes a tad bit more time and is a little bit more painful then the gun which is pre-loaded and then it's in. She applied numbing cream which really helped since it feels cool on the ears. She used Hypoallergenic earrings since I have sensitive ears, also she suggested to give me earrings with a longer stem so if my ears really swelled up then they'd have room and still be comfortable. All in all it was a wonderful, comforting experience! I definitely recommend getting your ears pierced at a tattoo shop and this one if you're near. read more

I have been into my share and have always felt standoffish from the jump but when I walked into Pure Heart and met Chris I immediately felt comfortable, like I was in the company of a friend. Went to get my ears pierced with a friend on Friday the 13th, which I know is a busy day and we were fine with that. However, we waited 2 hours to get our piercings because the staff was too careless to notice that we weren't waiting for a tattoo and we should've been pierced and out of there within 30 minutes because there wasn't a wait for piercings. This isn't even my biggest problem. I got my second lobe piercings done that day. I wasn't allowed to pick my jewelry, which may have been due to it being Friday the 13th, but the jewelry was bigger than I'd like. Since it was bigger I thought that's why it looked like it was too close to my first lobe piercing. Now, I have changed to smaller earring and put earrings in my first holes as well. I now know that my second piercings are way too close to the first and they are uneven. Even at Claire's they mark your ears and then let you look at them to make sure you like the placing before sticking you with a needle! read more

Went to get a scaffold piercing. The piercing was extremely crooked. I messaged the shop to discuss the matter and ask for a partial refund as I realized they would be out the cost of the jewelry. I received absolutely no response. Maybe he's good at simple piercings like nose but he totally messed up my scaffold piercing which tends to be a tricky piercing to pierce as well as heal. read more
