Very helpful staff. I bought skates for my son and he had so many questions that were all answered very well.

This range is an embarrassment to the Cranberry and Butler County…read morecommunities. They need to reinvest some of those ridiculous bucket prices back into the business. Like repaving all the hitting box areas, the Entrance to the building is hideous and can and most likely caused people to turn an ankle trying to walk up to the purchase area. Invest in some covering over the tee boxes. Just sell it to someone with a love of golf, as this owner is not doing anything. Been going there since 1998, and it has no improvements at all since then.

You can hear people yelling, the siren, the players hitting the boards - just like a real golf course! All of the matted tees are set on a slope going uphill, many of them with dips in the middle of them, so when you stand on them, you sink into the mat. When you hit, the mats can slide around under your feet and you're always hitting with the ball above your feet. Unlike many ranges with mats going up a hill from left to right, they're not tiered/stepped - just on an incline. Of course, you can still hear the sirens from the hockey rink here as well. The balls are a mix of junk and less junk. There were a few decent balls in there, but for the most part, they're all shag balls. I paid $10 for 90 balls, which would have been fine if the environment were better. I would just go to Cranberry Highlands for a good range. They're pricier, but all of the mats are level and the grass areas are much, much nicer. The balls are in much better shape as well. You can ignore the dress code for the range as you're allowed to wear t-shirts and athletic shorts/pants.

This Dick's Sporting Goods is a chain retail store that sells merchandise such as sports equipment…read more(e.g., baseball, basketball, fishing, football, golf, hockey, soccer, and bicycling), exercise equipment (e.g., ellipticals, treadmills, and weights), clothing and shoes for adults and children, etcetera. My husband and I shopped here to browse men's outwear and treadmills. My husband commented that the prices of the outwear were too high. When we were looking at the treadmills, an employee nearby saw us but did not greet us. One of the treadmills did not have a price tag, so I asked her about it. She was not able to answer our questions well, so she said that she would find another employee to help. We did not feel impressed with her communication and job performance. The second employee could not find the key to turn on the treadmill, so he used a different key that thankfully worked. We asked him about the features of the treadmill, and I found the answers on the Dick's website on my cell phone before he could find the answers. At least he spoke politely with us. My husband and I decided to purchase that treadmill, which was name-brand and half-off for only $1,000 plus $175 for delivery and assembly in our home. The employee accurately rang up our purchase. He said that he could schedule delivery for weeks later, which was too long of a wait for us, so we instead waited for he delivery company to select a date, and that date was only days later.

Walked in and asked and got a snide attitude when I asked about buying a hunting license for my son, like they are above that. Another Company that got caught in the Woke culture. I Will never be back.. it may be good if you want to buy a $500 Yeti cooler or a $200 shirt for working out.. super lame, not an actual sporting goods store. Mainly work out equipment, it's like the JCPennies of weights and treadmills.

WAY different vibe than different similar branded stores, in a good way! Everyone was super helpful and knowledgeable, and even though they didn't have what I was looking for this trip I will totally be back next time I have something in mind. They had popular brands like Yeti, Vuori, North Face, etc. and when I visited they had clothing items 25% off so I would call before going to ask if a specific item you are looking for may be on sale!

The layout definitely reminded me of a Dick's Sporting Goods store. Everything was pretty pricey, as expected from name-brand outdoor gear, such as The North Face, Columbia, and Patagonia. I learned that you can actually rent all sorts of gear, including tents, sleeping bags, snowboards, bikes and kayaks. They also offer classes/events, mostly focused on rock climbing for now. I do feel that their climbing rates were a bit high for the limited space that they have. Their climbing wall has only 5 vertical routes with a very small bouldering area, and they charge ~$20 for one hour. As an avid indoor rock climber, I would recommend visiting one of Pittsburgh's climbing gyms instead. Their day passes cost ~$20 as well, and you can climb for as long as you like. I see the benefit of having the wall for trying on climbing shoes if you're looking to buy, but not so much for recreational purposes.
