Shannon listened to my descriptions, viewed photos, and questioned me regarding desired expectations. Shannon began with the hair cut. This was a first for me. Every other stylist I've visited have done my cut and style last. At the completion of the cut, I was perfectly content with the style and could have left the shop happy! Alexandra gave me an amazing cut and color that truly exceeded expectations! My hair has never looked this good, and I can't wait to see her again. I really appreciated her work and the time she took to explain the entire process to me. She also gave me some tips on which products would work well with my hair texture and recommended shampoo and conditioner to keep my highlights from fading fast or turning brassy. I think Alexandra's work speaks for itself, but one thing I really appreciated was that she made sure to ask about my budget and tell me what different options would cost. It was really helpful to get an idea of all the different possibilities, and I actually wound up spending less than I thought would be necessary to achieve this color. Worst experience from a hair salon calling themselves professional. Had highlights and color. Person coloring my hair didn Wiped dye off the back of the nape of my neck and on my front sides. The person doing my hair blowed dry my hair with dye in my hair. Have blotches of dark in my hair. I couldn't see the dye still in my hair or blotches in my hair in the salon. One would think the dye would be completely out. I spoke with the manager and she wouldn't refund my money. Said she has never had a problem before. In other words, she called me a liar. I wouldn't even give them one star if I didn't have to. Yes I am filling a complaint with the Cosmetology board. read more

After reading Catherine M's review I felt very strongly that I needed to post my own. I love this salon and have worked with a few different stylists there; I've always been treated with complete respect and really enjoy the overall vibe of the establishment. Please don't let Catherine's review make you question trying this place out; she was the problem that day, not the salon. I was a client at the salon the day Catherine was in. I have never seen an adult act like such a petulant child in public. She was yelling (I could hear every word she was saying even while the dryer was on me), sobbing and creating an awful scene. The stylists who were there that day were nothing but kind to her - they were trying to fix someone else's work so essentially going in blind. Catherine sobbed loudly, refused to let anyone even touch her hair to dry it, cursed and kept yelling about being sick to her stomach. She insulted these women who were just trying to help her. SHE made everyone in the salon uncomfortable with her needless dramatics and I felt awful for the staff that was there that day. All I kept thinking was if one of my CHILDREN were acting that way in public, I would be humiliated and remove them immediately, because that is NOT how anyone should behave in public; yet here was a grown woman screaming because her hair was too dark. I understand feeling unhappy and frustrated with a hair service that you don't love (I've had plenty over my 45 years) but, to act in such a way is absolutely disgusting. I saw her hair and while it may not have been what she wanted, it was still very pretty. I hope this woman can gain some perspective in life, learn how to handle problems like an adult and gain an ounce of consideration for people around her so others don't need to witness her public tantrums. read more

I cannot say enough about this place, especially my stylist. After years of going to different hair stylists and leaving with something completely different than I wanted, I have finally found my place! Lexi is who I've been going to for the past few months to get my hair cut and colored. The first time I went I cried tears of happiness because she was able to give me the hair that everyone else could not. Not only is she good at her job, but she's personable, a good listener, and gives good recommendations. To add, I did not know her until I started going to the salon. ive never been more disappointed in my life. Blondes-stay away!!! turned my hair grey and then golden brown. spent 6 hours one day and six the next: where they applied color remover and tried agian to get rid if the grey. The owner is refusing to give me my $400 back: said shell fix my hair "she is the best hair colorer is St. Louis" and it went from grey to golden brown (i am a white blonde). after just wanting my money back to get my hair back she is refusing saying it's the best work; and its nothing like my original haircolor. (i just want my hair back) and ive wasted my entire holiday weekend. just a nightmare experience from hair to staff, to pricing. ive never experienced anything like it in my life! read more

Thanks to Gabrielle Drennen who gave me the best hair cut I've ever had. I brought in a photo and she matched it exactly. I especially liked the extreme safety measures this salon has in place. In these days of Covid-19, I want to stay safe and protect others. All of the stylists are extremely careful, mask wearing and disinfectant wipe-downs are mandatory. I will be back. This place is terrible! I read the other reviews but ignored it all and told my friend to try the place anyways. Turns out that the one star reviews are spot on. They served her drinks and criticized her because they said she seemed not to be able to handle her alcohol. It might have seemed like a joke but she took it to heart and didn't need someone making fun of her when she went somewhere to feel pretty after a bad divorce. I saw a guy talk about them giving his wife drinks after she was intoxicated. It is illegal to serve someone who is intoxicated and the guy should have escalated this to the Better Business Bureau or someone else in the state because the company and that person serving her should be fired and fined. I hope he does. My friend was given a drink too and then laughed at because she said she felt tipsy. It's a trap! Then they said her bill was so high because of the shampoo and blow out. I saw another guy talk about how his wife was charged for every last thing. It's true! This is a trap! She was charged for so much and when she asked about the price being so high at the end even though the site says her bill should be a lot less when all she wanted was a trim and my friend was told it included the drink, washing her hair, blow drying and blowing out her hair which she even said she didn't really need and for the stylists time and their rent but had to pay anyways since they did it even after she said she didn't need it and said it was already done and needed to pay for it all. These people try and get every last cent out of you. You get charged for walking into the store and will be charged for every single thing they do. Don't go here and if you do tell them no and don't let them change your mind because no service even if it seems complimentary is free and then the staff is so unprofessional that they criticize women after they have given them free booze and a scalp condition which they act like is just part of their service but it is not! I mean she didn't ask for any of it and they hardly changed my friends hair at all! She hated it so bad she went somewhere else the very next day! She paid a fortune for nothing but bullying, a bad hair cut, and being made fun of. I hate I told her to try this place because in stead of feeling pretty she told me they made her feel ugly and the experience was terrible. These people are not good people.
