My concern was not at a level to hire anyone and he gave me some some things to look for and reminded me of the positive ways that snakes could impact on our other critters. He could have sold me, instead he responsibly educated me. When I have a need for pest control of any kind, moving forward, I will be calling this conscientious business owner.

We have a problem with salamanders entering our home, and we hired Joe from Blue Tick to do a…read moreground seal of our house. For $1900 they sent a worker that spent 2 1/2 hours applying silicon, mesh, and a trim strip of sheet metal. 3 weeks later, we are still getting salamanders in our garage and home. While applying silicon inside my garage as a desperate measure to resolve the problem, I could see daylight along the length of the wall of a 1/2 inch. This was clearly the entry point, plus I could see the foot prints of the salamanders. I reached out to Joe to let him know that they missed a section, and if he could send someone out to finish the ground seal. Joe responded by telling me that was outside of the scope of the work to be performed. He offered to bid an additional fee to finish the "ground seal." Instead of doing the right thing and sending someone to finish the job, he wants to charge us more. This is literally 6 tubes of silicon and 20 minutes of work to close the entry point of salamanders entering our home. We are completely disappointed that Blue Tick will not finish the job. $1900 for 2 1/2 hours of work for 1 person is absolutely ridiculous. Trying to charge us more to finish the job, is even worst.
