I can't remember the name of the sister I had, but she was amazing. I told her my past experience, she was 100% calming and told me she could stop any time I needed. The wax stuff she used was amazing, pain was extremely minimal, and the overall experience was nothing compared to what I expected (in a very good way)! I can't say enough good things about Pure Skin Spa. It is a one stop shop for ALL your spa needs! The spa itself is very accessible sitting in central Napa on the corner of Lincoln. There is always sufficient parking and you can't miss the adorable flower boxes and window shutters outside offering a very warm and welcoming entrance - inside is even cuter, the décor is beautiful and the ambience is very calming and comfortable. All the Pure Skin Spa ladies are very sweet and professional and are always friendly with smiles! I've been seeing Lacey for years now. I will NEVER see anyone else for my waxing. It's always quick and painless and hands down the best I have ever had. I never leave red or in pain- I get spray tans with Michelle and I could not be happier with the outcome. I am never orange or blotchy and the tan lasts! I got a great bikini wax from Natalie. Highly recommend! If you're looking for a really good waxer she is the one. It was my first time at the spa and I was very impressed by Natalie's skills. She made me feel comfortable, asked about my needs, and got to work! My waxing didn't hurt at all. Every little hair was removed & I wasn't red either! I've had lots of waxes and always had bruising and mucho pain~so when i read the reviews i was encouraged to check out this little place I've driven by a zillon times while in Napa. Everyone was right-Lacy is just amazing-no pain-no bruising--just a perfect visit. Cute and clean place too. Lacy has a bedside manner that is relaxing and makes u feel comfortable which is also a plus!! Had a great Brazilian wax here through a groupon deal. Lacey did a great job, was very thorough and fast! Location was easy to find and though it was small it was very nice inside. My only real complaint, which isn't that big of a deal, is that their walls are really thin and since there was someone getting a massage in the next room she kept asking me to whisper while we were making small talk. I've always been a low-maintenance type of girl. I never get my nails done, I color my own hair with a box from Target. So of course I'm not one who goes to day spas. My husband, tired of hearing me complain, bought me a gift certificate from Pure Skin Spa after hearing the rave reviews. Well, I'm here to add to them: As soon as I walked in, I felt comfortable. Lacey, the owner, warmly greeted me and had me fill out a skin history form so she could tailor my treatment to my skin type. The parlor was inviting and serene, but soon I was invited to join Lacey in the treatment room. Lying on a comfortable treatment bed, I was able to relax as Lacey scrutinized my skin and asked me about my daily skincare routine. I had scheduled one type of treatment, but after intense investigation of my face, Lacey recommended that we go a step down in treatment level to make sure my sensitive skin wouldn't have an adverse reaction. Seriously the best place yu can get a wax. I believe it was laceys sister that did my eyebrows. And wow! I was getting my eyebrows threaded before because waxing really hurt for my sensitive face. But...they always seemed to mess one eyebrow up at the threading place. I filled out a form about my skin care routine and was later led to the room where I would get my facial. Jesslyn was amazing. I felt very relaxed during the entire experience. I have mixed feelings about this spa. I've been here twice and had a facial with both Lacey and Michelle, I think her name is? Both ladies were super sweet and nice. I've dealt with acne for majority of my teenage years, so I thought I would see an aesthetician before going back to the dermatologist for another strong treatment. Lacy (my first facial) was very informative and gave a really nice facial without pushing products from their own store for me to buy. Michelle, however, seemed to advertise their products more than talk to me about my skin. I decided to buy one of the products and without changing any other aspect of my lifestyle, skin routine, or anything else, my skin became a lot worse. I know that everyone's skin can react differently to products, but it was frustrating for me to pay about 100$ for a facial plus another 25$ for a product they sell for my skin to become a lot worse. read more

Both are great, gentle, super professional, sweet and make the experience enjoyable. And they are really fast as well - they don't put speed ahead of quality but are super efficient. Don't get turned away but how small the place looks. It is definitely not your fancy resort spa, but the waxing rooms are very clean. This little getaway is a hidden gem. I was originally booked at another spa but was guided by angels to this wonderful retreat. I had planned a special day for my girlfriend's birthday and really wanted it to be a luxurious and happy experience, well Pure Skin Spa did not disappoint. I walked in without an appointment and Lacie was able to accomodate all of our needs last minute and with a gracious and welcoming style!!. My girlfriend received an absolutely AMAZING 1.5 hour massage with Aunielle, She could not stop raving about her the rest of the afternoon.
