Aesthetic - 6/10 Definitely no frills but I do enjoy that they have TVs showing fun, wholesome TV channels, typically cooking or Antique Road Show. Staff - 10/10 This team knows how to do nails like true professionals! They are always super friendly, communicative, and take feedback really well when you're trying new styles! I had a great experience here for a gel manicure. I was able to make an appointment and was seated right away when I showed up. They had so many staff members working when I was there. The tech who did my nails was very kind and detail oriented. She showed me a nail after she applied one coat to confirm I liked the color. I have tried this place multiple times and have been holding out on giving a review. Today was my final straw. Between the commentary from the staff, not feeling comfortable, and feeling that the services were overpriced, I won't be back. Today, I walked out of the nail salon with a basic pedicure, which was $30 and a relatively basic design on my hands that was $75. I was not told of the extra cost per flower. The total cost was $105. Every time I come in here, I am met with commentary by the nail techs about short nails, always encouraging me to go longer. Short nails are required for my profession, but that's none of their business. Today , when I was asked to my preferred length by my nail tech, one of the other nail tech commented him to "not make them too short otherwise they will look like nubs" - in front of me!! She also said she could've do a French on my toes because the line would be too thin. I am off the belief that if you are paying for a service, no opinions should be made by the service professional. Today at my nail appointment, FOUR nail techs made comments about the acrylics I was getting done being short. So rude. Also today, there were two new employees I hadn't seen who may have been in training. They were HOVERING over my nail tech while he was doing my nails, making comments, and in my space. It was very crowded with 4 people at the table. For $105, I would expect amazing service. I was never introduced, I was never asked if that was okay that they sat with us for training. Again, unprofessional and ruined my experience. I've considered not coming back before, but was willing to give another shot. Very unhappy with my experience today. read more
