Lovely experience at Pure Spa as a first time visitor. Danielle was a lovely host and provided a very warm welcome. Judy was also very lovely upon arrival and departure. I loved my massage and the space was absolutely wonderful. The changing room is small but I was the only guest upon arrival happily. A tea tray was brought over which was nice and a glass of champagne. The space is very small and cannot accommodate large groups of people. I am accustomed to spa amenities such as a pool, wet room, and sauna. Pure Spa does not have any amenities so the cost should be reduced by 20% to reflect only the services they are able to provide. I enjoyed my very relaxing massage but prefer all the bells and whistles for a spa day with a wide range of ammenities. Susan is an amazing masseuse! She is very professional and knowledgable. Her Swedish feathering technique is utterly amazing! The spa is quite small, with clean rooms and a great smell of rosemary lemongrass when I walked in. The spa offered a sitting room with a fantastic ocean view, for before and after the massage, with fresh water or tea. The front desk is staffed by a very pleasant woman who helped me decide on jewelry to purchase. They also have a great assortment of facial items and body lotions available to purchase, as well as a few high quality resort wear items. It is quite small, with no pool or sauna area. Also, you either need to pay to park on the street, or do valet parking. I highly recommend valet parking. Tell them you're going to the spa and it is only ten dollars for five hours! You won't need that long, but it is good to know. Finally, I didn't see any directions once I walked into the lobby for how to get to the spa, and there were lines at the front desk. You simply walk into the front doors, turn right and go past the men's room in the hallway to the elevators. Go up to the 11th floor. Get out of the elevator and turn left. We were in town on Superbowl weekend and wanted to end our trip with a SPA experience. We are spa SNOBS. We stopped here on our last day and prior to departing. Everything was amazing - from the front desk service, to the waiting area (with the cool chair) to our services. We didn't feel rushed when taking our bath OR after our massages were done. We were able to finish our bottle and strawberries on the patio after our services. While we did contemplate ordering lunch - we opted to simply go downstairs to eat - so that we could take in all of the sites. My package was supposed to be all inclusive and my wife was upsold over $300.00 by the consultant for a total of over $763.00. I can't believe this is how business is done with this day spa. This place is very sly, encouraging clients to get additional services in an all inclusive package and never mentioning a price that would be added. I called and they said this is how it's done. What an amazing gem! Booked an impromptu couples massage and it was everything we could want. Marjorie at the front desk was helpful, friendly and full of great suggestions. We felt at ease and welcomed right away. The atmosphere was serene and calm. Gorgeous views while waiting for our massage, enjoyed champagne and lounging in the hanging swings. We felt relaxed before the massage even started. The couples massage room was stunning. The view and set up is A+. I only wish we could have stayed longer in the room to relax and enjoy after the massage was over. However after your massage, there is an outdoor lounge and terrace you can use. First off, the spa, scenery, and atmosphere was fabulous. I can rave about the views for days! The staff was super friendly, inviting, and very accommodating. Savannah at the front desk was super helpful and followed up with me when I was accidentally double charged. I am disappointed in the way the price were listed on the website. Hindsight 20/20, I can see my Mistake, but it is not clear on the website. I booked a couple massage for me and my sister. It listed the price at $225. I figured (naively) this was the total cost. It said in very very small letters per person. Once you reserve it too on the website, the price remains $225. So it was very misleading and slightly disappointing. This is more a management problem. In addition; they already charge you 20% for tip. I don't like when places do that. For whatever reason it puts a sour taste in my Mouth. Often times I tip over 20% but when it's already included, I don't. I understand why they do this, to protect their staff because people don't tip. So PSA to everyone, tip the staff anywhere and everywhere you go! Overall, besides that unplanned expensive damper, it was a wonderful and very relaxing experience! This may be the Spa with the greatest view! Floor to ceiling windows overlooking the ocean, so gorgeous! I had a chance to stop by this Spa for a facial recently and it was everything I could ever want in a facial. My skin felt exfoliated, clean, and soft. The facialist addressed my problem areas and gave me great tips on how to better my skin. The entire process was smooth and everyone was so nice. They took my temperature and everything was immaculate. The location of this spa is worth it alone! I will definitely be back for another facial when I'm due! read more

I had a massage there today. The massage was good - very deep pressure. The massage was in a suite overlooking the ocean. The only drawback is that it wasn't like some spas that have additional amenities like a sauna or whirlpool or steamroom. I asked for a hair tie when I wanted to rinse off the oil after the massage and the woman at the front desk pulled a lone elastic out of her pocket. I wondered if it was her own as her long hair was down at that time. Either way, I appreciated her generosity and/or ingenuity. But the point is that this is not a spa with saunas or whirlpools or glass canisters of scrunchies available for guests. read more

I feel bad giving a poor review but I'm so disappointed in my massage. It seemed like the therapist was new and inexperienced to say the least. The only relaxing part was laying down for 80 minutes listening to soft music. He was very nice, which is why I feel bad giving the bad review. The front desk was very attentive to my disappointment and discounted my service 50% to help. But $147 for a bad massage is insulting to me as a customer. Booked the "mindful pedicure" with gel application (120$). To my surprise it did not come with callus removal-the sole of the foot does not get touched. I thought that is always included in a pedicure but apparently not. The equipment is outdated, for example the pedi chair wasn't stable so the poor nail technician had to push against it and i wasn't able to relax my legs for the whole time until my muscles started shaking. There were more errors in the nail room which i am not addressing now but all in all it is not worth getting called a Spa. I am still giving 3 stars because the nail technician really did a good job with the gel polish and she made the best out of the situation. I think she was aware that the room/equipment is not suitable. My nails look great regardless but the owner of the Spa needs to invest some $$$ to update the treatment rooms read more

I loved the results but was a little disappointed in the experience I had when receiving them at other places. I was in and out in 25 minutes and didn't get the relaxing spa experience of it. I was a little reluctant to book this appointment because of my past experience. I have been cured.This was best of both worlds. When I came in Marjorie, Daisy and Flor greated me at the front desk and immediately escorted me to the ladies changing area and prepared a refreshing glass of water for me. My husband accompanied me to the appointment and they made him feel right at home as well. Daisy was my esthetician and I want to request her everytime I come in. She takes her time to listen to the concerns I had about my skin, didn't judge me when I told her it had been 2 years (lol) and took her time. She literally massage the products into my skin and gave me a relaxing shoulder and arm massage. *spoiler alert* she wraps your feet in warm towels and it puts you right to sleep. When I was done, my husband was relaxing in the lounge overlooking the ocean with a cool glass of water. I want to thank Jacklyn the manager for helping me choose and book this experience. The good: very cute little spot. Amazing views from the relaxation room! The bad: there is no soaking tubs, hot or cold. This was a big bummer for me, as this is one of my most favorite parts of a spa experience. My massage therapist seems generally annoyed to be there. I'd say most of my massage was enjoyable, but she was very herky jerky when moving my legs, bending my arms, etc: it was a bit odd. Seemed a little aggressive? Had a lovely experience here! I got a 60 min signature pedicure from Flor. She was so attentive and accommodating. I told her I was pregnant so she gave a gentler leg massage than normal with my request. She made sure I had food and drink! It was raining outside but the view was still so so peaceful! With magazines available it gave me time to lay back and relax! I love that everything was organic here, including the nail polish! I felt very comfortable using these products on my skin as a pregnant women! I even got a complimentary small nail polish that was the same color as my pedicure to touch up if needed!! Stunning waiting area. The space isn't very big but they try their best to make it comfortable and it's very clean. The only scheduling is very convenient . My husband thought it was one of the best massages he's ever had and we've gotten massages everywhere from Paris to Japan. My only complaint is I wish the rooms were darker. read more

We spent a lovely afternoon here to cap off a girls weekend. The service was so wonderfully friendly and accommodating. They offered our group champagne and strawberries with chocolate. There were showers in the changing room with plenty of products as we were showering and then heading to the airport to fly him. The roof top area is lovely to sit outside and enjoy the view while you wait for your service. If the weather isn't cooperating, their indoor waiting area is very nice. I loved the chairs hanging from the ceiling. It is a very small spa, but the couples area with the windows that lookout to the ocean is gorgeous. I had a hydrafacial and it was a lovely experience. My face looked and felt wonderful afterward and my provider was so sweet. The young lady who assisted us at the front desk was so helpful when we were scheduling our appointments last minute. I went for my birthday I spent $545 for a package I felt very rushed and it was for my birthday. nothing special was added. one person did all my services. my massage was basic .. it did not seem like you needed training to have this massage. it was not relaxing and was very very basic. I had a facial and again was basic. if she extracted 4 pimples that was a lot. it basically felt like creams were slapped on my face. again for the price,I could have gotten a more detailed and better facial at a local salon. my body scrub was ok .. nothing special it says full body scrub .. but it really was not. I was extremely disappointed with the actual services .. it felt like a fluff to over charge. the spa could use some modernizing especially with the prices. ... I do not mind spending money for what I want. but charging persons over priced for very basic massage facial and body scrub is very crazy to me. gratuity is automatically included so I basically over tipped the person who did all my services. one person did it all. Oye.. well hmm where do I start?? Spa is nice, quaint and clean. Beautiful view. Front desk inviting and polite. Once escorted into room for massage and initial intake took place I noticed bo questions were asked about any medical condition, allergies or injuries.... Total for any professional massage therapist. Spoke about areas of concern... "lower back" therapist pointed toward mid back and asked this area? ... noo lower "ohhh glutes" totally not hlutes but hey for your own reference if thats what you want to call them then sure... massage started to 1:50 actiually we got pucked up from relaxation area at 1:50 massage supposed to start 1:45 we ended at 3.05 so from time of pick up we already short 5 minutes but after intake consult really about 10 minutes short. My husbands therapist was decent. My therapist either is on way yo retitement and doesnt give a fuck or entirely new to the game. Massage was choppy, he kept taking hands off and wiling on table and sheets. Piking in atead a few effleurage moves and then he wipes his hands.. pokes shouldets a couple times and wipes hands a few effleurage swipes in one side of lower back and then a few compressions on glutes and moves on to legs.. completely misses other side of lower back... lower back being area of concern. Once at legs every stroke was followed up by a fight with the sheets pushing them back forcefully .. clearly draping is an area that needs improvement... did both legd then feet then srms and neck... crazy me but i find it santitary when therapist washes hands before going to the head neck and face area after touching feet but that may just be me personally.. yeah i could have gone to massage envy for that massage... this is not report spa material at least from my therapist and its sad because he was a nice guy. My husband was happy eith his but wished he had more sacral masaage done but thats more of a communication issue on his part. read more
