I honestly cannot believe how poorly my experience at Evara Beach Spa was handled. This was supposed to be a special experience for my 5 year anniversary, and instead, the entire visit was stressful, rushed, and extremely disappointing. On the way to my reservation, I called Evara to let them know I was going to be approximately 15 minutes late. I specifically asked if that was okay, and the woman on the phone told me "no problem."Based on that conversation, I continued to the spa expecting my reservation to be honored. Once we arrived, however, they took 30 minutes off our massage and told us it was because of the timing and that they could not honor the full massage. If that was their policy, they should have told me when I CALLED and gave me the opportunity to decide whether to continue with the reservation. Instead, I was told everything was fine over the phone and then penalized once I arrived. To make matters worse, this was our 5 year anniversary, and instead of feeling welcomed or celebrated, we were rushed through the walkthrough and treated like an inconvenience. There was absolutely no sense of hospitality or consideration for the occasion. Then came the most serious issue and problem was the 900 DOLLARS THEY CHARGED WHILE ME AND MY WIFE ARE GETTING A 20 min massage I had already paid for the reservation through ResortPass. Evara still required me to provide a credit card for the reservation. Before giving them my card, I specifically confirmed that it would not be charged and was told it was simply required to hold the reservation. Despite that, while I was literally receiving my massage, they attempted to charge my card approximately $900 without my authorization. I was also charged multiple times. This is completely unacceptable. I brought the issue to Gina, the supervisor and her response made an already terrible experience even worse. Rather than taking the situation seriously, she was rude and dismissive and said that this happens all the time and that it was "just a mistake." Even after I explained that I had specifically confirmed beforehand that my card would NOT be charged, I was essentially told there was nothing they could do because it was their mistake. A mistake is one thing. Repeatedly attempting to charge a customer's card hundreds of dollars without authorization after the customer specifically confirmed that no charge would be made is another. Between the misleading information over the phone, shortening our massage after telling me being 15 minutes late was no problem, rushing us through the experience, failing to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our anniversary, and the unauthorized billing attempts, this was one of the most unprofessional spa experiences I've ever had. I would NEVER return to Evara Beach Spa. I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking here to be extremely careful about their reservation and payment information. What was supposed to be a special 5-year anniversary experience was completely ruined by the way this place handled our visit and to top it off had to order a new card with my bank for the 3 unauthorized charges over 900$ One star is honestly a lot for the experience I got. read more

Been the last couple years on my birthday. I hate to say it- but I feel it is degrading a little bit. For instance, shower doesn't get that hot, robe has stains on them, they had incomplete pamper area (missing mouth wash), and they don't cover valet anymore- to name a few. Valet was 15$- not bad, just a change I noticed. For my massage, the lady I had was very nice. However, I did the cupping add on and the lady did make me second guess my choice. She took me on a roller coaster saying it's not something I need if I don't have a concern related to the benefits. She did it anyway and then changed her mind saying it was good for me and my body needed it. It was weird. I am wondering if she sensed my anxiety in the beginning when she was basically convincing me it was a waste. I like massages to be peaceful with limited talking - so that was a little disappointing. This was my first time coming to an actual spa, like where you spend the whole day and hangout type of spa. In the past the only kind of spas I'd been to were the ones where you go get a massage or facial and leave right after. This was the perfect first spa experience, as this spa is super nice. They have $15 valet, and the entrance is right out front, so you can't miss it. When you get in, you head to the front desk and are immediately greeted by the receptionists. They offer a glass of champagne or a mimosa and take you up the stairs to the 2nd floor where the spa is located. The first floor is a gift shop type thing. They give you a tour of the entire spa, and introduce you to the spa associates that can help you with anything you need. They provide super comfy robes and slippers. In the locker room, there is a sauna, steam room, salt room, cold plunge, cold showers, regular showers, locker room, getting ready area, and relaxing area. Outside of the locker room there is a lounge waiting area, where you are to wait for them to come get you to take you to your service and where they bring you back to relax after your service. After your service, they always provide you with a little shot glass sized green tea, and a coconut bite snack thing. They also have an outdoor lounging area on a terrace with couches and lounge chairs and umbrellas that has a view of the ocean. They also provide you with a key card that gives you access to the beach if you want to go down there, and have beach chairs available. They also have tons of refreshment stations with water, hot tea, and healthy snacks such a trail mix and apples. I will say, the spa does get busy on weekends so I recommend going early or on the later side to avoid crowds. The locker room/getting ready area can definitely get overcrowded. I got a massage and a facial and had great services. I really liked this spa. It felt luxurious but didn't have to spend an arm and a leg. The staff were all super nice and helpful and kept the place clean, despite everyone leaving glasses and towels, etc. everywhere. They also replenish the towels pretty quickly so they don't run out often, and if they do they're replaced pretty quickly. I highly recommend this place. read more

It is not clean, with paint touching my cuticles and skin. I waited over 5 hours to put on socks and shoes, and the paint still smudged. I requested a Classic Massage and a Foot Massage enhancement, but there must have been some miscommunication because I did not receive the Foot Enhancement. Took my hubby for his birthday today and we overly enjoyed ourselves. We were greeted as soon as we entered the building. Valet was free in accommodation to the spa. I booked us the Harmony Couples massage & a 30min body scrub shower. Our massage therapist were amazing. They came and got us exactly at our scheduled time. The massage was 50mins. My boyfriend took me here for a birthday surprise and I must say I was so impressed with this spa! Upon entering, we were greeted by the front desk which is littered with lux goods ranging from perfumes to hair products to even accessories. I highly recommend checking out the Oribe perfume collection they carried, each scent was exquisite. We were then taken upstairs and given a tour of the facility and all of the amenities. The ladies suite had beautiful showers, a sauna, steam room and salt cave, as well as, every personal/ toiletry item you could think of. I was able to store all of my belongings in a secure locker and was given a comfy robe and a set of slides. I was then led to the waiting area where my boyfriend was waiting for me. Regarding the services; we ended up getting a couples massage which was fantastic. My masseuse was super attentive to all my requests and helped take care of the many knots I tend to have throughout my back. After our massages, we were given a small plate of bites containing a cucumber wrap, fresh beet juice and a vegan coconut bite. We were then taken back to the locker rooms to change in preparation for lunch on their ocean breeze sun deck where the chef prepared a grilled chicken teriyaki bowl accompanied by a cucumber seaweed salad and fresh avocado. I am not sure where the actually parking lot is if there is a parking lot available. So that's why I accepted the valet for $8.00 The do refund you the money for parking in Spa if you let them know you valet parked. My daughter booked the cabana massage for me on the beach. I wasn't able to get the cabana massage on beach due to it being to hot outside in Florida. So the Spa closed the outside massage sessions and offered me to do it inside. I was told they explained to my daughter that the outside cabana massage would be conducted if weather permits. Normally when someone says if weather permits your are thinking depending on if it's raining or not. Not they don't do it if the weather is 85 or higher. The female locker was nice it had Sauna, salt room and steam room. The massage was amazing almost fell asleep. They did give you complimentary wine. I had a light Hors d'oeuvre following the massage. They don't offer a menu for food. They do suggest places you can walk to. The pool area is off limits to residence only. Bring that the spa is on the 1st floor of apartment building. Absolutely fabulous experience. This place is a gem!! We took our bride to be here for some much needed self care and relaxation. We opted for a message in the cabanas outside by the pool and it was a luxurious and unique experience. The staff escorted us to every place we went. They took exceptional care of us, offering tea and snacks and water with lemon everywhere we went. They didnt allow us to carry a thing. We felt like royalty for a day and it was amazing. We were able to get beach access which was set up for us prior to arrival. We dined at the delicious DUNE which was also set up by the wonderful staff. Not to mention this establishment is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING. The architecture and design is beautifully modern and chic it was lovely just walking around. Spa itself was beautiful, but the infrared sauna didn't have the light on and the steam room was intolerably hot where the steam came out next to my legs. This spa was overall just okay. My massage was extremely mediocre. The woman was nice but it was not anything special. My facial was the BR facial. I've had advanced BR facials before but this spa barely has any of the biologique recherche creams or serums. They only have what seem to be the most basic ones. My facial again was okay. But the girl that was giving me the facial was extremely friendly and warm hearted. The amenities are clean..that's a good thing. I wish they made their steam room smell like eucalyptus at least though. The lady that walks around in the locker room is a bit much. I know she's trying to help, but it makes me feel very strange when she keeps coming to me and trying to make sure "everything is okay" I'm just trying to relax and not talk to anyone. Lol.
