The other two of us were just sitting soaking our feet until other technicians became available 20 minutes later. The pedicure itself was great, but it sort of felt like they take a factory approach and just take appointments and walk-ins even though no one is necessarily available to do the work at the time. I specifically went for work in my shoulder and pectoral muscles and back. I had to ask if she was going to do my pecs. When I paid I gave a $5 tip and then she said I needed to pay for hot oil because she used it. I told her I didn't know what she was asking. So I paid the $6. If you're like looking for a really good and qualified massage therapist I would recommend Bodywork by Erika. Pain be gone left me in more pain. It was busy, and that's nice to see...but I think due to how busy they were they put the receptionist on my feet because I received the worst service I have ever received today. She cut me...with a nail file!!!! Do you know how hard you need to be sawing on someone with a nail file to rub them raw and make them bleed...pretty hard! Then she nipped me with the nail nipper on the inside of my baby toe. That was on ONE foot. I did not allow her to finish due to the pain she had already caused. She was rough the way she handled me (twisting my foot and holding on odd positions). I've been getting pedicures for 25 years and this is the worst one I have ever received. I went to leave and another woman said she'd take over, so I said okay...the other lady stands next to the chair and just scowls at me, arms crossed, staring. After a few minutes I asked if she was going to continue to stare at me while I receive my service because she's killing the relaxing part of the experience. She just stood there so I left. I don't think she's a regular worker there as she was dressed differently and I saw no license for her. The gentleman who greeted me was super friendly, just like I remembered my first visit a few weeks back. I'm on the fence of whether I'm coming back or not. It's not like we have handfuls of options out here so the stark difference between the two visits has me divided.
