I have been coming here regularly for a while now and highly recommend it. The first time we stopped in was to get my son some Boba. The owner is very nice and accommodating. I noticed that they offer a variety of food and this has become my go to place in Clovis for papaya salad. I like that he makes it Laos style. He gives a generous portion, and the spiciness level is always accurate. One time when we were in, the owner spent about 30 minutes giving my husband a tour of his water filtration system and explaining how everything works. He has a great attention to detail and we plan to start purchasing his filtered water soon as well. They also offer Thrifty's ice cream. Definitely recommend this locally owned business. Ice cream is ice cream, nothing special. 2/3 bobas were mid, nothing special and would prefer other places. My niece really liked the pina colada boba. Now for the main event, the papaya salad. I had high hopes but it fell short. There's nothing good about it. Just taste like regular papaya. Their sauce wasn't really good. It was mid and nothing special. I usually come here for the papaya when I grab water and my experience has changed after finding out they do not use quality ingredients to make their papaya. I got frozen papaya once and after I got papaya with a garlic that was forming mold. I did not see the garlic until I was almost finished with the salad. Pure water has a new owners. No longer the same people who make those food. Try to not order their food because I ordered two of 3 spring rolls for $10 and my order of spring rolls lacked the size (was very very small), limited vegetables, and no noodles. They add a weird texture of watery Sriracha and mayo inside the roll which made my spring rolls all damp and wet. Not worth the total of $20 that I have to pay. Opt for the vanilla or caramel ones if you want some flavor but doubt it can help that sad coffee. This is an awesome find in Clovis, its like three business in one little small business, yes you read that right "Three" ; so this place sells filtered drinking water by the gallon, dryers ice cream by the cup, but the STAR or their show is their boba and their Banh Mi Sandwich. I was surprised they sold food and drinks too, like I checked 3 times just to be sure, and yes they do have boba milk tea's and also even snacks. This is a no frills store, so don't expect taipei 101 style of place; so what I'm saying is it doesn't look outstanding from the outside or inside in terms or decor, and if this is your first time, like it was for me, you might not even be sure if your in the right store for boba drinks, but believe me they have it all, so go in and explore their menu, they are really friendly. They have a wide range of boba drinks with various flavors such as milk tea, honey milk tea, taro milk tea,honeydew milk tea, thai tea, green tea and even cake batter with boba, all drinks are only $3.99. The establishment is clean and makes good Laotian-Vietnames snacks such as banh mi and papaya salad. Their Taro boba drink $3.99 including boba was perfectly mixed, had a good balance of sweetness and fresh milk creaminess, and was not too icy and their pearl or boba's was perfectly cooked, nice and chewy but not hard, yet not too mushy. While their banh mi was delicious $5.50, and used real thinly sliced BBQ pork meat, had an immense good flavor from the BBQ mixed with the lovely texture if the bread, and real nice mix in the middle of meat and vege, its not like the best banh mi in the world, but its definitely one of my favorite places to get Banh Mi for Fresno in the most unsuspecting place too. After seeing all the rave about how great the sandwiches and boba drinks are, I decided to give this place a try.. Maybe I have big expectations, but I was very disappointed.. The sandwiches are a great size but the taste is not quite as good as I thought it would be.. It is not bad but not also a "wow, I'm going to get this again." Maybe I'll give this place another chance if I ever come around again. But for the size, it's a great portion.. I was looking forward for the Thai Tea smoothie when it came. Their kao piak, homemade chicken noodle Soup, is good, generous. Noodles are a flatter fettuccine size. These noodles are glutton free, because they're made out of rice flour and must be eaten pretty soon after being made so they don't get mushy. Squeeze some lime, add some chile and you're good! I have to say that this time I tried a bahn mi sandwich here and I was very surprised! It was really good! I ordered it spicy and it was awesome!
