I wish I could give TEN stars!!! This is the one and only gym I crave going to Seriously though, I started out at PW on a Groupon to try something new back in 2011. It is because of PW that I realized doing endless amounts of cardio and marathon running wasn't doing my body good. I started doing more weight lifting and HIIT with Pure and my body was freaking changing in ways it never had before! I had suffered from years and years of eating disorders, and PW honestly helped me have a healthier body image and relationship with my body. A class there is like the best therapy, because you are surrounded by people who are your family. They come from all different walks of life, different levels of fitness, and so much love and support. The owners are so invested in everyone who attends, and are always so welcoming. Back in 2014-2015 I trained for an NPC competition. Had I never gone to PW and been surrounded by so much encouragement, I would have never had the guts to step on stage. Judah helped train me and I had NEVER been in such amazing shape before. Not only that, but he and his wife Kira drove all the way to Colorado to support me and cheer me on in my first competition. Who does that?? The dedication and genuine care they have for everyone is beyond what you will find at any gym! I sadly haven't been able to attend PW much since moving and having a baby, but many of my dear friends are people I met through Pure. I still stay in touch with the owners and I still tell them all the time how much I miss going there. I was able to do an online fitness program through Kira which was amazing to help me work on losing that stubborn baby weight and stay motivated as a new mom, wife, and working woman. The tools I've learned through the years from Kira and Judah are invaluable, and I will always recommend this gym to anyone and everyone I come in contact with! read more

Pure Workout - Personal Training Boot Camp - Boot Camps Near Me - Murray, Utah

I've been going to Pure Workout for about 8 months now. I can honestly say, I've never felt this good about myself as far as fitness goes. I have muscles I never even knew existed! The owners are always kind and show me proper form if they notice I'm not doing something correctly. It really is like family here! Every day I go workout, there are always fellow gym goers and the instructors greeting me, and happy to show me how to do the different types of workouts we cycle through. Every day is different! I myself started with a Groupon and never felt like I was treated badly. I'm here to stay! If anyone out there is interested in pushing themselves to the next level, I would highly recommend Pure Workout! Is it easy starting off? Hell no! I could barely do 5 pushups when I started and I'm up to 40 before I get really tired. I was totally out of shape, but persistence really paid off. Kudos to this amazing gym and the owners! I highly recommend this gym and I do all the time! Now my friends just need to sign up, you know who you are! The owners, Judah and Kira are amazing so are their trainers! You will never find a cleaner gym than this one!! And I don't know how they do it but there is not one person who goes here that is a muscle head beef head!! Lol, you know what I mean?! Every single member is so kind and if you don't understand the workout someone is always willing to help show you the exercise and the proper way to do it! I am a returning customer from a few years back but my husband and I have no plans on leaving! They truly care about helping you on your personal health journey at your pace! I give this place two stars instead of one for one reason two reasons: 1. The owner Aaron is awesome. He was at one of the workouts I was and he was helpful and really nice. Since I was new, it was a plus. 2. The overall idea of this gym is great. Totally awesome. However- Aaron does not attend all of the classes. There is another guy who does it who is not helpful and most of the time just rude. Especially if you ask questions. And ESPECIALLY if you do their groupon. Please don't offer a groupon if you are going to treat the person who bought it as less than the regular paying clients. I now go to a different gym similar to this one. I pay full price after trying it with a groupon... Something I would have done here if things were a little different. Anyway, if your not willing to pay full price you should choose somewhere else. My two best workouts was with Aaron and a sub. The regular guy is just there to watch, change the music & and glare at you for buying the groupon. read more

I just finished my first Six Week Challenge at Pure Workout. This challenge kicked my ass! This was one of the hardest yet most rewarding things I have ever done. With the motivation of the coaches and my workout comrades, I stayed strong and I met my goal! Pure workout teaches you the healthy habits that are necessary to lose weight and stay fit for life! The meal plans didn't leave me wanting. They are a perfect combination of proteins, carbs, fats, veggies, and cheats. I love the morning workouts! (As much as one can love having their ass handed to them.) They work muscles I didn't know I have. The coaches were positive and motivating, and actually made me laugh at 6:30 in the morning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. DON'T use groupon. I would have given them a 0 rating if possible. Aaron is willing to help you learn proper techniques, but Judah is the total opposite. He is condescending... very unprofessional. If you do not not working with people then you should not be a personal trainer! When you join a gym, you shouldn't feel scared to ask questions nor be expected to be an advanced athlete your first week. I wasted my money going to this place. Please don't do the same. read more

DON'T COME HERE! WORST experience I've ever had at a gym.The owner is extremely mean and condescending, borderline racist. I bought the 6 wk Groupon over 8 months ago and I came back today, his wife recognized me & redeemed the voucher. Then 20 minutes into my work-out he kneels down (while I'm doing sit-ups) and interrupts in front of everyone to tell me I was not allowed there because I've bought a groupon before. If he cared about customers, he could have a least treated me with respect & approached me after the work-out. Then says "you don't respect us enough to pay full price" I told him that I asked his wife for a price sheet before my last Groupon trial ended and she never sent it, never got a promotional email or text. Then he proceeds to call me a liar. I honestly did. But that's besides the point, what kind of customer service is that?!! His entire demeanor and energy is extremely negative, you can tell he hates people and being there. He could have approached me differently & we could have worked out a deal but instead he conducted himself with so much disrespect and treated me as if I was scamming them?!! Like dude, maybe do your homework and find out what type of deals you're signing up with Groupon and learn what they mean before putting these deals out there. He has no idea what he's talking about. I have done this with so many facilities and they have never raised the issue of buying a Groupon after 6 months. The fine print is very clear. I asked then why did they redeemed the voucher? And to give me a refund. He refused and said I had to ask Groupon, it was not his problem. Even though they JUST cashed it!! This guy is clearly using Groupon deals to bring new clients in...because clearly he can't keep them. Maybe if he practiced being kind to others, people would want to stay at his gym. They don't even deserve a star. The first time I came (last yr) he yelled at me on my first day because I put my bottle of water on the floor next to me and very condescending told me "you can't do that here, I don't want you to spill water on MY floor" as he pointed to place it across the room. This place has seriously changed my life. I started here with their awesome 6 week challenge in February and went on for another challenge. In 12 weeks I went from 37.7% body fat to 25%. The trainers Aaron, Judah and Jae are incredible! They provide so much support and guidance and help with your form so much. Workouts are so intense! I have been coming here daily since I started, and am definitely hooked. The people who make up our PW family are an added bonus to everything you get from coming in. Not only do I get a kick ass workout on the daily but the camaraderie of working out next to/ with some of the most amazing people pushes me that much further towards my goals. I bought the groupon. Worked out until work got in the way. I will go back. I thought the place was great, owner was awesome. The other 2 guys that worked there were great too. I totally just beasted my first 6 week challenge (I'm planning on another one!) with these guys and I had to come on here to say how AWESOME this place is. Pure Workout isn't just a gym...it's an experience. I honestly believe everyone who has helped me train, Aaron, Judah, Jody, and Ed, really do care about bettering each person and making sure they're setting themselves up for a positive lifestyle change. Worst place ever! Maybe it was due to the fact that I brought it through groupon. I would have paid full price after my time was up if I was treated like a person. The first thing out of the ass mouth was my name in a bad seance. Since day one I was treated like sh***. So I'm not in the most perfect shape like the others. That was the reason I was there to get in shape not to be treated horrible for not being in shape. My only satisfaction was that I didn't pay the full price. Don't wast ur money here.. Here is the deal with Pure Workout...they will not baby you. Are you looking for someone to drag your butt through the workout and make you finish? If you said yes, then this place is not for you. Do you want qualified trainers who love their job and want you to succeed? If so this is your gym. If you are willing to put effort in they want you to change your life more then you do. They are knowledgeable, trustworthy and loveable. Now let's talk Aaron and Judah...Aaron is more in your face not shy at all. He may seem more approachable but I find it the opposite. I have worked out mostly with Judah for 18 weeks or so. He is way more reserved, but just as approachable. He is willing to teach anyone anything they want to know. I say this because I saw the other reviews on him and I'm calling BS. They don't care how you got in the door, they only care that you are there. So to anyone who had a bad experience, come back and stop making excuses. If they didn't sugar coat it and stroke your ego they were doing their job. read more
