I was a loyal PureFormulas customer for several years and spent thousands of dollars with them, but I finally canceled all 12 of my autoship items after another frustrating experience with their autoship program. Their system does not allow you to add products to an existing autoship or combine separately created autoships, even when they have the same ship date. The only way to consolidate them is to cancel everything and recreate all of the autoships at once. As a result, I was charged $5.99 shipping twice on the same day despite having several autoship orders processing. What makes this especially frustrating is that I had essentially the same shipping issue a few years ago. At that time, I was also not refunded and was told they were working on improvements to the autoship system. Years later, the same problem still exists. This time, after asking for the shipping charges to be refunded, I was offered just one $5.99 store credit toward a future order. After years as a customer with 12 recurring items, that was disappointing enough that I canceled all of my autoships and will purchase elsewhere. I've had plenty of good experiences with PureFormulas over the years, which is why I'm giving 3 stars, but the autoship system and the way this issue was handled ultimately lost my business. read more

My husband ONLY uses Nubian Heritage Raw Shea Butter body wash (the original version of Shea Moisture's Raw Shea Butter with Frankincense and Myrrh), and the price has been escalating like everything else, thanks to the monster in the WH. I've been buying it via Amazon (and other places over the years) but the price here at Pure Formula was a bit over a dollar less than the next cheapest place, so I gave it a shot--4 bottles got me to the free shipping level. There was a 15% discount, too--I think that was for a first-time buy. Shipped promptly, very well packed, mostly recyclable brown paper protection inside standard cardboard boxes (the 4 bottles came in two separate shipments); each bottle had the screw top taped, and 2 bottles in a bubble wrap envelope. As I've had this product arrive leaking in the past, I appreciated this extra step (and they hadn't leaked). I'll definitely return for this product, and probably others. read more

I ordered something on a Saturday that I needed for a surgery Monday and paid for an overnight delivery thinking I would get it Monday (because it actually specified Monday on the order). I double checked before I placed it. Instead I got it Tuesday. I wrote and asked that they credit the difference between one day-business delivery and 2 day delivery since I got it Tuesday. Someone named Chrystian said no. That would have been maybe $10 to them. I have been a loyal customer for at least 15 years, so that was a really dumb decision on Chrystian's part. UPDATED to reflect customer service response: when PF saw this review, the company located my order (despite that my orders are not associated with Yelp account email or user name) and offered to resolve this matter. PF refunded shipping fees (I will take their word for it since I have no evidence yet) and were going to provide a $10 credit for my troubles. seems that my experience was a bit of an anomaly in that the customer service manager i spoke with did not have any other customers experience what i had. i don't know whether he was referring to the odd recorded message or whether he was referring to the UPS 2-day air fiasco. i explained having called the PF 1800# and the message gave customers two options for customer support from their "happiness and customer loyalty teams" (for help with placing an order press 2, for help with current orders press 3). i also reported how the recording was a British accented females voice but every time i pressed 2 or 3, there was literally no sound or message for a solid 10 seconds. a few times i just hung up and tried again suspecting a tech glitch but if i stayed on longer than 10 seconds, the British accented female voice said no one was available at this time and to try again later. this happened 19x in 5 days. i began phoning July 3 and tried several times daily until July 9, when the order arrived. i also sent 2 emails and filed a "missing order" claim, and even that did not generate the "automated" response for almost 24 hours. when i was unable to reach or hear back from the company, i actually initiated a fraud claim with the bank thinking i had been scammed or that the company had gone out of business. doesn't help matters that PF thinks i am making all of this up. needless to say, i am content with the resolution and will give PF another chance, especially given they have the widest selection of homeopathy anywhere. this ordeal was so frustrating and worse, the dog is battling fleas now due to the delay of this order containing his flea remedy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 8 yrs of being a customer and i am done. while this store has the best selection of homeopath remedies anywhere, and offers reduced price sales throughout the year, when there are issues with your order, they DO NOT RESPOND. they don't reply to emails, and no one on their "happiness team" EVER answers the phone, and not a single "claim" is ever handled. spent 17.99 on 2-day shipping (dog was out of flea remedy) and requested a refund since the order (shipped June 30) was not delivered until today. not sure what is going on with this company, but this is the worst example of customer service i have ever NOT EXPERIENCED. so so sad. i'll spend more money elsewhere to get the same products, bu my deserved refund needs to happen since my order was not delivered in 2 days, it was delivered in 10. if so i'll update this review. read more

Never again. I am glad others had good experiences, but did not. We generally order our product direct from the MFG, When we do purchase, we always get a 1 year expiration on our products without exception. But since PureFormulas was closer, we tried them. When we opened our items, not only was the safety tape not on the box of four kit, they all expired in 2026, and the most recent was 3/26. Two months from now. That means, these have been sitting around the warehouse for a great deal of time in a plastic bottle. We contacted them and asked about the date of expiration and they blew it off as "you still have time to use it". No, we are still using our last order and we are not one to run out before we order the monthly supplement. We never heard back, so they expected us to keep the product and be quiet. We had to ask contact them a second time for a refund because they never offered to replace them. This is not customer service. Be careful they dont sell you items with an expiration. We tend to forget these products are sitting in plastic, and who knows how hot it was when they sat in the truck or on a pallet when the company first had received at their location. This is not the first time they had this problem. We looked at the Google reviews after we had our poor experience, and found they had sold another customer a product with expiration issues. On 1-31-26 I added an update to their response. I want the reader to understand a bit more. Note how they contradict themself when they first say they take customer satisfaction "very seriously". But then note how it really isnt about the customer, it is about THEM. The spent the majority of their polemic telling me my concern for expiration dates is nothing to be concerned with. Let me ask them a simple question? When you (or any of us) go into a store and you see a product, with two different expiration dates, which one do you choose? Lets suppose it is another supplement? One expires in two months, or the other in 2027? Be honest, which one would you pick? And yet, when it comes to purchasing YOUR product, you want me to do what you would not do. Secondly, they did not address why the box of four has the tamper seal broken? When we ordered from the MFG, they always have a seal on the outside of the box. Theirs did not. While we appreciate their sentiment, a breached seal is a physical compromise of the product's chain of custody. The seal helps identify an attempt to protect the contents Thirdly, I disagree with you about the supplements and their shelf life. Isnt it true Results RNA products use specialized Advanced Cellular Technology and are often part of a 4-bottle system designed for synergistic health? Their dismissal is nonsense. Receiving items with only 2 months left suggests to me that PureFormulas is "liquidating" old or returned stock without disclosure. Finally, what adds insult to injury is you will not give us back our money to purchase a new set of products anytime soon. You tell us you will refund once you receive your products. This essentially forces us to provide you with an interest-free loan while we wait for your logistics team to process a return for a "mistake" you made. I am disabled and generally have someone drive me. To make matters worse, there is a great deal of snow to slow this return by almost 2 more weeks. This box must be brought to the post office in order to ensure it is documented that it shipped lest it be lost and we lose our money with the box. read more

The package was ordered on 4/7/26 and delivered on 4/15/26. if the package had been delivered a day sooner it would have saved us bus fare to have a family member return to Phoenix from Tucson and I would have hiked in Tucson.
