Most recently, this past year, they probably got some change in management, because the place has been amazing! I come here even for the boxing conditioning classes every week and never had a problem with the trainers. When it comes to injuries and fixing my sciatica, an issue I have had over the past five years, I recommend seeing Hope. UFC Fit definitely takes pride in hiring passionate and considerate trainers. Hope has done nothing but ensure that my priorities are met and always takes the time to hear me out and make me feel a lot better! As for their customer service, I always go to Chris for an issue, one of the operations manager of the gym. I have had concerns this past year in regards to the cleanliness of the establishment and he has always made sure my needs are met. And if anyone is interested in getting a membership, Chris is the man to go to! Love this gym and would never imagine myself switching!

I have tried every gym in the area (I used to do day passes at every gym within an hour radius while on school break so I have tried other golds gyms, 24hrs, pfits, retro, crunch, blink, powerhouse, you name it) and this is my favorite gym in north jersey. The new owner replaced a lot of the equipment including the floors and treadmills while leaving a lot of the old classic equipment which I love combined with new fantastic Atlantis machines. The gym also has a large turf area and basketball court which is a huge plus for athletic training. Also a sauna, but the best part of the gym is the community, a great mix of old classic body builders, young guys, and the staff is super friendly. My only complaints would be a new filtered water fountain would be great, there are multiple old ones that don't taste great and I've heard the town has given the owners a problem with replacing pipes. They put a gate in the front which was a big annoyance at first but it works well now and helps keep non members from sneaking in, and the parking lot has the largest potholes I've ever seen and they always come back despite them repatching them, it needs a full pave but I believe that is on the town and out of the gyms control. Also on some week nights one of the trainers runs an absolutely obnoxious workout class and blasts music on top of the gym music while taking up the entire turf area. She could easily use the empty studio room that they don't use at all. Still one of my favorite gyms out of hundreds I've been to considering a reasonable price!

Leaving members unable to sanitize items--machines, benches, cardio equipment, mats, etc. I attempted to contact the owner multiple times to voice my concerns--even leaving messages with front-desk employees for the owner to contact me. No response after multiple attempts. Finally, when I was able to speak to the owner in person--he completely dismissed my concerns about cleanliness. The owner stated that management cannot rely on members to throw away paper towels (full-grown adults by the way). So instead of a few paper towels to pick up off the floor, we get stuck with sweat soaked gear? STOP trying to nickel and dime your members. The rates for this gym are high enough to cover a few proper sanitizing stations THROUGHOUT the facility.

DECEPTIVE BILLING PRACTICES -- BE CAREFUL BEFORE SIGNING ANY AGREEMENT…read more After years of being a loyal member with no issues, I was suddenly charged an additional $19.50 fee with no notice or explanation. When I asked about it, I was told it was a "glitch in the system" that overcharges customers -- but that I'd need to talk to the manager to resolve it. To prevent future problems, I even put a new card on file. Before following up, I contacted my bank (Chase), and they confirmed there was no reason my recurring payment -- successfully processed more than 28 times -- should have declined. When I spoke with the manager (Andrew), he gave multiple conflicting explanations: first a system glitch, then a bank issue, then a declined card, and finally said he had no control because billing is through ABC Financial. When I asked how the issue would be fixed, I received no clear answer or solution. Instead, the manager became aggressive and ended the conversation by yelling: "GET THE F*** OUT, IT'S TOO EARLY FOR YOUR BULL****." Immediately, I asked again to speak with the owner or anyone capable of addressing the situation. I even reached out through social media. After one month, radio silence. Today, I received another notice: my card supposedly "did not go through," and there is no a $9.50 late fee and another $19.50 charge added on top. I'm genuinely disappointed. If the business needs to raise prices, be honest about it -- don't hide behind deceptive billing practices or "system glitches." I enjoyed being a member, but I can't support a company that refuses accountability, overcharges loyal customers, and treats them disrespectfully.

Like 2 cheat press machines, one shoulder one lat machine. About 2 bench presses and one incline and one decline other than that Dumbells have about 4 benches bu them so that is good. They have the EZ curl bars. Lots of cardio machines and a big CrossFit section. The leg machines are up on the loft on the right as you walk in. VERY CLEAN AND NOT INSANELY BUSY!! I had to wait for one of the two bench presses but mostly very good! Very nice and impressed considering how I've seen gyms by me in Secaucus are kept, so dirty and overcrowded.
