I had previously cruised twice after booking on my own via the cruise line website (Carnival) or Costco's travel agency website (Holland America Line.) Using a travel agent got us a fair price (possibly not the cheapest, but that wasn't my goal) ALONG WITH added perks and access to "full service" from my agent if/when I had questions. We had an "added value" gift from our TA on board that Crystal cruise, too. Now, in 2022 (hoping it is post-COVID, but maybe mid-COVID is more accurate...) we were grateful to book an upcoming cruise (HAL) with Admiral Pat again. We had a HAL cruise canceled in 2020, and the online travel agency we'd booked with in 2019 was impossible to reach. We felt lucky to get a fair result after months of frustration, had future cruise credit to use up, and decided that returning to booking with full service TA would add to our comfort with booking a cruise at this time. Admiral Pat answers questions quickly, handles transactions efficiently, and seems to care that we get a vacation we will enjoy. It crossed my mind to look and see if they have a website today, and the Yelp reviews popped up. Since none are recent, I wanted to give my personal evaluation of this agency. We live in the Boston area, but have never met our TA in person. I believe I initially found Admiral Pat's by looking up travel agencies in our state on a TA locator on the Crystal Cruises website, but that was years ago now.

I wish they had told me why! Are the destinations more expensive than my budget? Are the dates unavailable? I referenced "my partner" - do they not work with same-sex couples? I also said I was open to other destinations - did they not care to look into other destinations for the dates I provided? I would have been happy to increase our budget or look into other destinations - but I guess they didn't care about offering me other options. It just seems so weird that they wouldn't want to work with me. For a company with such good reviews I'm disappointed that they don't want my business. I hope others have a better experience!

They just returned my email with flights, no introduction, no "hi, my name is", nothing. They just kept emailing one flight after another with zero attempt at any pleasantries or interaction. Each flight was crazy expensive or not what I asked for. I asked twice that they call me and provided my number, yet they continued to just email flights. Then, they just stopped all together. Lazy, cold, unprofessional, and ignorant. I found them on Google, that's how businesses are found by new potential customers. Let them cater to their regulars, obviously they don't care to earn new customers.
