STAY AWAY- BAIT AND SWITCH!!!!!! This place is a legit bait and switch. I booked a spa package and they gave me totally different services and said nothing to me at all. When I was leaving and planning to give a tip - they told me I owed an additional 100. I paid 260 for their package and then said I owed more that I never agreed to at all! I've always heard of bait and switch but never encountered it. I paid it but I will NEVER be back. Crossed my mind it was because I had an Edmond address but that is almost too much to process on top of the bait and switch!!!! STAY AWAY from this place!!!!!!! read more

Amazing! My husband and I have never been to a spa or have had a massage ever (we are in our early 30s). I know, crazy. I don't know what took so long. But now that we have experienced it, we can't believe what we've been missing out on all this time. And Purity made that first experience so wonderful. My husband had a 60 minute massage with Lanesia. I had a citrus body scrub and 30 minute facial with Ivy. We both also had a foot soak. My husband earlier this year suffered an injury to his lower back and has had super tense muscles in one of his legs and glute area. His physical therapist suggested getting a massage, which is how we ended up looking for spas around town. He said his massage was great and Lanesia even did hot stones at no extra charge. She really focused on the areas that were sore/tense. I had a great time with Ivy. She was kind and explained the whole process to me since it was my first time at a spa. The body scrub was amazing and I really enjoyed the facial as well. 10 out of 10! I can't wait to come back! My husband and I might do the couples package next time. I do think having the waiting area be the same area that they do the foot soaks in is kind of odd. Not much privacy/relaxation when you have people checking in and waiting around for their service, (although I got lucky and was alone for the majority of my foot soak time). I think the areas should be separated and maybe more comfortable chairs to sit in for the foot soak. But that would be my only critique, and it's not like it was a big deal and ruined my time. Great ambiance! And just an all out treat. Brittany, who did my 120 rejuvenate facial, really is knowledgeable about what she can offer. I've had quite a few facials before but nothing like this one. I'm excited about the different med spa treatments that are in my near future, which will be microneedling and Lumecca IPL. I have one critique though: - So you fill out paperwork for different treatments, which includes medications that you are on. Well the person doing your treatment doesn't review them till a day or two before your appointment. If medications need to be held the facility should be looking at that well in advance and contacting the client before the day before. I had to reschedule my treatment, which made me less than thrilled. read more

I had an amazing experience at Purity Day Spa! When I arrived I was offered water, tea, coffee or wine and was given a robe and slippers to change into. I was then able to enjoy my drink and sit and relax or use the sauna while I waited for my massage. I got a 60 minute Swedish massage from Elijah and it was amazing! He asked me many times throughout the massage if the pressure was okay, and he gave me everyday tips for spots on my body he noticed were very tense! I also got the hot stone add-on (which I highly recommend!) and the scalp treatment add-on with lavender oil (which I also recommend!!) After my massage I was told I could use the sauna for as long as I'd like or I could do a foot soak add-on! I decided to do the foot soak, and I chose the chamomile and lavender salt blend. I enjoyed my foot soak for 30-minutes with a glass of Prosecco. read more

First and foremost, I love the location of this spa. It's in the heart of the Plaza District, which is (in my opinion) one of the best parts of Oklahoma City. The building doesn't look like much from the outside, an older house at best, but walking in to the smells and relaxing music was immediately a treat for my senses. The service was prompt and we were offered water and wine, which we both accepted the water. My partner and I had reserved couples massages, and both our massage therapists were clearly well trained in their craft - we both finished feeling rejuvenated from amazing massages and an incredible intimate experience together (my partner also opted into the CBD cream and left raving reviews for that.) I'd definitely enjoy coming back here, and hope to opt into the foot soak and sauna experience in the future. When checking out, I also noticed they automatically applied a 10% discount for my partner's birthday, which I wasn't expecting in advance and was a nice bonus. I really didn't want to have to do this, but I really don't want other people to have the experience I had at the purity day spa. I went in for my first ever microneedling procedure with very small pores on my face, but after the procedure, they got bigger. It left my face with an orange peel texture. They never went back to their normal size. They asked me to come in for after photos, so I did more than a month and a half afterward. They took the after photos with different and better lighting than they did with their before photos. They use a very harsh light for your before photos to make you look worse than you actually do to try to trick you into thinking that it worked more than it really did, when in reality, it made things so much worse for me. They wouldn't accept any pictures that they didn't take at their business with their bad blurry camera. My before and after pictures were more detailed and less blurry than theirs were. They refused to reimburse me at all. They claimed that since they noticed a slight "improvement" under my eyes that it worked. They refused to take responsibility for their mistake. I now have permanently enlarged pores from this treatment. Please be advised that the Purity Day spa is not a professional business and that you risk causing permanent damage by doing the procedures they offer here. read more

Awful service. They need to hire someone to do hospitality training ASAP. When we walked in the concierge was on the phone and ignored us. She did not show us the locker room and sauna room and we stood there with bags of things to get ready afterwards. My sister (it's her bday) didn't even get a robe and slippers. We told them it was our sister's birthday and they still did not treat us with any type of experience. We paid over 300 for our appts and received bottom level service. Not to mention the FULL body scrubs are just arms, calfs and back not full body and my sisters 1 hr massage was 40min long... The showers are tiny and theres only one. And the sauna is tiny. If you're used to a luxury spa experience don't go here. Not to mention they had my sister sitting in the foyer after her scrub for 15min by herself when she could've been in the sauna waiting for us to finish and relaxing and enjoying her special day. My parents also went to this spa later in the day and were not given robes slippers or shown to the spa room/locker rooms at all which is why my dad even decided to book in the first place. Purity just opened about a month ago. It's a welcome addition to the Plaza! I booked a 60 minute deep tissue massage. When I arrived I asked if I could also get cupping. They were happy to provide that service. All of the treatment rooms are upstairs. The massage table was almost as comfy as my bed at home! However, he reached out, and the owner promptly responded, was extremely apologetic, and invited me to come back for a redo or get a full refund. I reserved a couples massage for myself and my boyfriend a month in advance over the phone; the receptionist was kind and willing to answer any questions, but unfortunately that's where the positive customer service stopped. When we walked in for our appointments, we were not greeted. The woman at the front desk was more interested in talking to co-workers than us. They were having technical difficulties (which I understand) but got the impression there was more frustration towards us for scheduling a dual appointment rather than their own confusing system. We were not offered robes, slippers, or the sauna room - which I was previously told was included with our massages. The massages themselves were great and we adored our masseuses - they made us feel wonderful! But I will not be back due to the terrible customer service and cold welcome. read more

I really wanted to enjoy this place and maybe I was in the wrong mindset but I found more cons and pros visiting purity day spa. The first con is there parking lot is a little difficult to get into so I had ended up parking on the street which was odd. And then when I walked in, I got checked in, and I was handed a towel for my body that was damp, and then sandals that were very big and my foot kept slipping out of the front, and I was handed a glass of sparkling, which was really nice and a great benefit. I spent about 15 to 20 minutes in the sauna room in the women's locker room prior to my session and that was a wonderful touch. The only downfall the women's locker room is very small, and they tell you that their lockers don't work so if you want to lock your locker with your belongings, you have to tell the front desk agent next I moved into my massage appointment and I told her I really wanted to concentrate a lot on my back. I was having some tight muscles and pain in my lower back and she did a really good job and I did feel very relaxed. I wish I could've had a little bit longer so maybe next time I'll do a 90 minute versus a 60 minute she was very petite so I did have the thought. Would she have the muscle to get in and massage my back deep and she did a pretty good job afterwards, they didn't try and sell too much on their products or a membership or services which I did appreciate because after a spa the last thing you wanna do is field sales pressure. I am going to give them another try and book another session in the future and maybe it'll be more positive. read more

I was avoiding getting my eyebrows waxed for the longest time because I wasn't ready to try out a new waxer out of fear. I finally took a shot and booked with Brittany. I had a really good experience here as I planned a spa day for my mom's birthday. They were super helpful and willing to work with us as I coordinated a schedule and services for a group of three. The space is really cute and I know a previous reviewer mentioned wine, which they do offer, but just know that I was also offered other (non-alcoholic) drink options as well :-) The 60 minute facial was my favorite treatment. I have had facials in the past that inflamed my skin, but this one seemed really cleansing while still leaving my skin calm in the days after. They also have a great selection of foot soaks if you only have a short amount of time and need a pick me up.
