I ordered a maracuyá smoothie, and after drinking almost the entire thing, I noticed there was a HUGE cockroach inside my cup. When my mom went to show the owner the cockroach, instead of being concerned or apologizing, he questioned how it got there and actually suggested that we may have put it in the cup ourselves. I was absolutely disgusted and shocked by the entire situation. We were so grossed out afterward that we ended up throwing away ALL the food we had purchased from the other vendors because we no longer felt comfortable eating anything from the market. Please stay away from this place. Finding a huge cockroach in a drink is bad enough, but the way the owner handled the situation made it even worse. I would never want anyone else, especially a child, to have this experience.

I really enjoyed the level of spice on that one and the shrimp were a nice size--no mini or small shrimp used. Thank you for that! :) It's a treat to watch the buns rolled out and steamed on the spot. And I appreciate that Between the Buns is the only place of its kind in all of the big YG Farmers Market.
