Based on my personal experience with Rhino Roofers: My experience with them has been nothing short…read moreof a nightmare due to terrible customer service and shady business practices. First, they have a complete inability to show up when scheduled (3 times). When someone finally did arrive, the roofer was incredibly rude and flat-out refused to speak with me or answer any of my questions about my own roof. More importantly, they are trying to dodge their warranty commitments. A major issue was completely missed during their first trip out here, and they refuse to explain why it wasn't caught initially or why they are suddenly claiming it isn't covered under my warranty. To make matters worse, getting a straight answer about pricing is impossible. They failed to communicate their new estimate, and when they finally sent it, it was a confusing mess. It doesn't explain what the actual problem is, what work they plan to do, and provides zero breakdown of the costs. I have been asking to speak with a manager for over a week to get these issues sorted out, and I have been completely ignored. No callbacks, no explanations, no accountability. Save yourself the headache and hire a roofing company that actually communicates, honors their warranties, and treats customers with respect. SUMMARY: Requested a senior manager (for a week NOW) contact me regarding the following issues: 1. Severe Scheduling & Communication Failures: * Scheduled contractors failed to show up three times without notice. * Despite requesting a callback from management four times, I have received no response. * The scheduling process has been entirely inconsistent. I was told I was booked, received a text telling me to book, called to verify and was assured I was booked, and only on the fourth booking attempt did I finally receive a proper confirmation text and call. 2. Unauthorized Property Access: * The first team dispatched arrived without ever contacting me. They accessed my roof without permission and failed to ring the doorbell or knock. I was home at the time and had explicitly requested through scheduling to be phoned, texted, or have my doorbell rung. 3. Unprofessional Behavior & Disputed Work/Charges: * The most recent team dispatched was highly unprofessional; one member was actively rude and refused to speak to me. * This team simply guessed at the root cause of the issue and is now attempting to charge me for repairs that a previous team formally stated they had already completed. * Because of this contradiction, I now seriously question whether the initial sealing/repair work was ever actually performed.

My husband and I have suffered a lot with allergies and inflammatory issues over these past few months. Ori and his partner came out and discovered we had black mold in our vents and ducts. I can't speak for there work quality but 1 star for there customer service responses on yelp. *Update* - the owner did reach out and sincerely apologize for the response and personally came out and spoke with me and quoted me on my roofing situation. I cannot say any bad about the effort that was put forward to rectify is initial problem. Quote was very well put together and he explained everything very well. Overall, I have raised my initial 1 star review to a 4 star for the effort he put into to make things right and to correct this issue from happening to future customers.

They are coming out Friday, and we will see what happens, but I feel that Groundworks genuinely wanted to make me happy and accepted that their repair was not up to their standards. I don't normally write a review. I had to consider it this time. I had an experience that I felt…read moreshould be shared. I had a project done for a very large rainwater collection system (55,000 gallon tank) on my home. The installer for the rainwater system recommended American Hill Country Gutters for the gutters. This review is only regarding the gutter portion of the project by AHC gutters. Throughout the initial project Mr. Johnson was okay to work with, except for a few periods of long wait times, lack of communication, and an occasional grumpy attitude. I can certainly understand a few bad days, no problem. After the new installation, I discovered the elbows at the top were not secured, and a few splash guards were not working as expected. There was communication between my rainwater collection installer and Mr. Johnson about making the changes. I called Mr. Johnson to ask about his schedule, and I was surprised to hear they were coming that same day (luckily I was home). When his employees arrived they were very nice. Initially the employee thought he was only addressing a couple of elbows. I explained that all of them needed to be checked. I asked him if he could show me what he needed to do. I was trying to explain my concern about the removable screens that needed to function on the leaf eaters below the elbows. I asked if there was a way to make it work. His phone rang while I was standing there, and it was his boss Mr. Johnson. The employee handed me the phone. I was not prepared for what came next. Mr. Johnson proceeded to yell at me, belittled me, told me I was stupid for listening to other opinions, told me I didn't trust his guys, and told me to shut up and let his guys do their job. It was actually worse than that, but you get the picture. Then he to yelled at his employee as well. I was in shock. After going in my house to settle down for a bit, I came back out to work with the employee. I felt sorry for him for being part of this behavior. Once he was all done I thanked him for doing the best that he could. After having some time to reflect on this, I realize how bad the situation really was. It is possible Mr. Johnson wasn't happy that he was called to do this. Maybe he didn't think he should be fixing it. I have no idea. That's no reason to take out frustrations on his staff and the homeowner. I remained calm and professional to him, and his employee. I reviewed the whole thing on my ring camera to reflect on the incident. I am pretty sure I won't get an apology. American Hill Country Gutters will not be returning for anything in the future, which was probably Mr. Johnson's goal all along. In summary, if you consider a major rainwater collection system on your home, please do not use American Hill Country Gutters for that portion of your project. When you read the other reviews about rudeness by the owner, believe them. He will take your money for an installation, but if he has to come back to fix anything, he changes his attitude. He is not a nice person, especially to women.
