    Kitchen floor
    Gary C.

We had our dishwasher have a malfunction and leak water all over the kitchen floor and sub floor all the way into our basement. These folks where the top pick of our Insurance company so we gave them a shot. They came right out to house tore old floor out and put fans in kitchen and basement to dry things out for couple days (it was crazy loud). The insurance folks checked things out and we are the proud family of a new floor. We did have a couple things come up out of the ordinary but their Team came up with solutions to remedy those things. Just make sure to follow their instructions on picking mm size of floor out. I recommend scratch proof and water proof.

I ordered a Move Out Package which turnd out to be called the Vow Package for Bride and Broom. I…read morehad moved out so no furniture was in the house. I had preswept the bedroom floors because a rug company was coming to steam clean them. I also had mopped the kitchen floor a few days prior because of the mud the dog drug in. I stayed until the bathroom was cleaned as I had to return to work. When I went back the next day I noticed the laundry room, blinds and windows were not cleaned. I also noticed the brand new, still in their package, sink strainers I was going to install after the maid was done, we're gone. I sent photos and also asked if they could tell me what the maid did with the strainers and instead of an apology or a we will return to finish the job I got a lecture of how it took 12 hours to clean my house. Now mind you, this is a home that is 1032 sq ft. Very small house with no furniture in it. The dirtiest part of the house was the bathroom and she cleaned that while I was there and did so in about an hour. The refrigerator was the second bad thing, but shouldn't have taken an hour to clean, so how did it take a professional maid 12 hours to clean my house? I was talked down to by the person on the other end. I was not at all mad or nasty to her, I just wanted the job done and my strainers. What I got was gaslight by the person who answered the phone. Scolding me as if it was my fault the job was not finished. I'm handicapped, so yes the bathroom was not precleaned. I can't bend or kneel to clean. If I could I certainly would not have needed to hire a maid service. I paid $340 for this package. I really didn't think that was a bad price until I saw the service I received. If your expectation is a professional service, this is not the maid service for you.

DO NOT BOOK!!! If you do, DO NOT PREPAY. I'm currently out $155 for clean(s) that never happened +…read more$100 credit for poor cleaning the first time. See below for full details. Here's my full experience trying to use Bride and Broom this spring/summer. I reached out in May for a move out clean in a rental studio as well as a deep clean for my place. The clean was initially booked for 9am. The cleaner (Taylor) showed up at 11am to do two deep cleans. She told us we were our third house for the day. She on the 450sq ft studio for 4 hours and it was relatively well done. The small closets weren't opened and swept or vacuumed and there was supposed to be a fridge and oven cleaning as well that I paid for but didn't happen. Fine, no big deal. After a short break, she moved onto our space to start the deep clean on ~1400sq ft after 4pm. After 7pm she finished the upstairs but hadn't even started the downstairs yet. She was clearly exhausted and cut a LOT of corners on the downstairs - basically just vacuumed and moped and left at almost 9pm. She overall did a subpar job. I genuinely chalked it up to her being exhausted. I didn't plan to say anything and was just going to move on with life (and wish now I had). Since I had previously mentioned I was interested in biweekly cleans, Felicia reached out on 5/29 (after the clean) and I ended up sharing my experience. She was understanding, confirmed what's included on different cleans, and offered me a $100 credit off future cleans. She also shared her June specials. Given her accommodations, I felt comfortable moving forward. She'd shown up when I prepaid previously so went ahead with 2 prepaid maintenance cleans which was $155, including the $100 credit, Zelle sent same day. We scheduled for 6/10 and 6/24. On 6/9 she rescheduled for 6/18. On 6/18, she rescheduled for 6/24 and offered a free fridge cleaning. On 6/23 she rescheduled for 6/25. I accommodated and made it clear I did not want to reschedule further. Sure enough, 6/25 morning of the rescheduled date, her cleaner couldn't come and OFFERED ME A REFUND. She also offered me free cleans, which I declined. Said she'd send me the refund after the end of day and ghosted me. She hasn't responded to me via text, Facebook, email, anything. I requested refund via Zelle - nothing. So now I'm out $255 and forced to find a new cleaner. Book at your own risk.
