They obviously didn't knock because there are dogs in the closest unit who would have gone crazy, but even if they had theirs basically two whole units in between sound wise. Calling gets you a robot that is mostly useless and just redirects to a virtual assistant via text message which can hold a package at their remote location nearly half an hour away or schedule a redelivery with a ridiculous 12 hour wide window. While having no means to address the actual issue of the driver arbitrarily going out of their way to a completely wrong door, which would essentially always fail unless I go sit on a balcony in the wonderful winter weather waiting for them to meet them for 12 hours. I don't know why the business sending me items has chose Purolator to ship with and I will be mentioning this to them as well. If they had just shipped with Canada Post they seem to be able to find the front door and even if it wasn't deliverable their pick up locations are centralized in town.

I went into this store last week to ship two parcels to friends. The staff member who helped me was…read morevery polite and attentive. He found me a box that was perfect size for the item I was shipping. Most importantly, one of the packages I sent was not delivered correctly (despite the correct label and shipping info), and when I called this UPS store for help, they were on it immediately. They tracked down the package, spoke to the driver, made sure the package would be picked up from the incorrect location, and delivered asap to my friend. They called back to let me know what was happening, and followed up with another call to make sure the package was delivered correctly. All in all, excellent service.

So I thought I would try UPS. I found the gentleman at the counter to be very knowledgeable about what I would need. The price point was actually less expensive than i thought it would be. The good news is that the package made there in a reasonable amount of time. No problems no issues. The service requested was what i needed. I don't send a lot of packages but in the future i will use UPS.
