Date of visit: March 28, 2026 I am shocked and appalled that I have never posted a review of Purple Door despite all the times that I have come here. I live near Kopp's and I come here about as much as I go there even though it's not at all convenient! The variety of flavors, from old standbys like strawberry and butter pecan, to the more unusual such as strawberry hibiscus or road gravel ensure that there's a little something for everyone, and it certainly does not hurt that they make their waffle cones fresh on site. This is not a drill, people! And while I thoroughly enjoy the waffle cone smell, my heart is always set on a milkshake and Purple Door almost always comes through (there has been the occasional time that they are out of milk but thankfully that was not the case on this visit!). I got lemon, then berry, then almond cookie. It was amazing!
