The best food in the market building.
    Rohan D.

The best stall in the whole marketplace, delicious flavors, choice of cones or cup, better service than the others as well. A little short staffed, usually only one young lady who sometimes closes up early, or has to go away to take a break without relief. There are a couple of stools, and on a nice day you can take your ice cream outside. On live music evenings, head upstairs and listen to some jazz.

The server was very friendly giving us sample to try then suggested a flight of ice cream 4 flavors which is what we wanted. The ice cream is very creamy and rich enjoyed cinnamon, butter pecan, cookies and cream and cherry almond . Highly recommend trying a flight around 9 dollars.

The ice cream flavors are delicious and unique. We were quickly served and got to sample everything that we wanted. The Mequon public market is a cool place. I got blackberry lime and my girlfriend got the lemon cardamom, and chocolate malt. They were delicious. The cones are not as good as joy social in Wauwatosa, but they are still good.

Within the Mequon Public Market, it's nice to have a place that sells a dessert. You have about 16 different flavors to pick from and each one has a unique flavor. Service is okay at best. This unique ice cream establishment is on the expensive side for those who are on a budget

On a lunch date, we found this ice cream shop inside the Mequon public market and it is now my FAVORITE! When the ice cream was so good you want to eat it in the winter! The customer service was great, they allow me try the ice cream before I decided. I didn't have to try much because I was hooked on the first one. Mountaintop cold brew blackberry chip is a must try! Super delicious! The chocolate chip and real black berry compliment each other well. The single scoop was a lot! Will definitely come back for more! Hoping the flavor is not seasonal or else I might need to buy a bucket!

Stopped in at the Public Market and was pleasantly surprised to see Purple Door as there's been so much talk about it at work. Sampled the lemon - and OH MY GOODNESS it was amazing and even tasted like gelato on steroids. Had to get the signature Purple which was very good. All flavors I tried were creamy/fluffy and very flavorful. Price is a little steep. 2 small cups nearly $9! yikes definitely not something I'd do too often, but it was a nice treat.

You can go in, get some fro yo and sit and do some trivia! Or even take to go. They change their flavors around. My absolute favorite is the cookies n cream mixed with cake batter. I love how the machines have pre mixed flavor or you can mix whatever flavors of your choice. They also frequently have a dole pineapple flavor very similar (better in my opinion) to the famous dole whip sold at Disney. It's self serve and there's a number of toppings from cereal, gummies, cookie doughs, and sauces like peanut butter, marshmallow, caramel and hot fudge. Pricing is based on the weight, at the register you weigh your fro yo(s) and pay based on the weight. Not sure what the prices is per ounce but I paid $4.98 for a medium sized cup (the green cup shown in the picture). I also love how portions of their proceeds (or all I'm not sure) on Tuesdays are donated to selected local schools. Give it a visit if you're in the area, you surely won't regret it.

I stopped by for a scoop of mint chip custard and it was creamy, rich, cool, and delicious. But - really is there no bad day for custard? No, there isn't! This place is busy all year round, and for good reason. For the custard, there is usually a flavor of the day, plus the usual favorites, vanilla and chocolate, plus a sundae and shake of the month. A sign outdoors advertises the flavor of the day and a monthly menu of each flavor of the day is available online, if you want to plan ahead for your visit. If you've not been to this Milwaukee icon, it's a must-stop; the custard is really, really good. The retail store is set up like a 50s type diner, and there are plenty of folks ready to take your order. There is no seating indoors, just a few tables for standing-only to munch and chat. However, there is outdoor seating like a mini amphitheater on cement steps, and when the weather is nice, it is not unusual to see large groups of customers sitting outside eating ice cream or other treats or burgers. The menu also includes burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, shakes, malts, floats, and sundaes, too.

I also love their rotating Flavor of the Day custard options, and they even post a three day forecast so you can plan ahead. Overall, Kopp's is a great spot for both food and dessert. Definitely recommended.

Well, if you live in Grafton, WI, your running days are over! Pete's Pops is open on the corner across from the Grafton Hotel facing John's Pizzaria and the plaza where the Christmas tree lights every year! Costing as little as $4 each, and yes, you can charge that, you can skip or walk right up to the window and order a frosty treat for yourself and one for your 4 legged K-9 friend! I had the root beer float and was not disappointed!!! Soooo, no these are not Good Humor flavors! They are MUCH BETTER than the sugar laden kid nonsense you remember on the truck! I assure you, however, your vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free children and friends will love being able to get an affordable treat on a hot day while listening to music from the plaza or just hanging out in Grafton. Parents won't mind the ingredients -- go on line and check it out! The staff in the window is friendly and excited to be here in Grafton all the way from down South (a.k.a. Milwaukee)! So make them feel welcome and tell them what's good here in the Village. Oh! Somebody go explain that Village vs Town thing! Make sure they know to which municipal hall they should pay their bills -- especially since one is only a block away and one is literally halfway across TOWN! LOL Alright, enough with the semantics. Go get the best popsicles you'll probably ever taste. I highly recommend the root beer float. Make sure you leave one for me, though!

I especially like Hefner's custard and shakes. (4 1/2 stars) For me, it's always the flavor of the day or vanilla. I love the vibe of this place, and while there, it's fun to drop some quarters in the pinball machines and play a few games. Takes me back to a simpler time, before video games. I also love that Hefner's employs mostly teenagers. It seems like a great place to work and develop teenage friendships. Probably the first job for many of these kids. Hefner's recently installed a Toast Point of Sale system. The teenagers will love this new POS as it will help generate more tips. Hefner's is a great local place to hang out; get some pretty good food that is reasonably priced. It's fun. Let's continue to give them our support as a local landmark.

They offer around 80 flavors of their delicious ice cream and their claim to fame is that they invented the now widespread "tracks" in ice cream. WI Campfire S'mores is an ambitious ice cream flavor comprised of graham flavored ice cream with crushed peanut butter cups and a marshmallow swirl. The marshmallow swirl is a little tough to see visually because its white color blends in with the light brown/tan color of the ice cream base. Trust me, it's there though. Separating a spoonful of the swirl out, it does have a texture that differs from the ice cream as it is more aligned to marshmallow fluff. Although the graham and marshmallow flavors tend to get somewhat lost in each other, the peanut butter really comes through when you get a piece of it. The problem is the peanut butter cups are few and far between. Imagine eating an actual s'more that's only graham crackers and a marshmallow. The chocolate (or in this case peanut butter cups) is needed to complete the experience. Cedar Crest is not the only company to do this, but the picture on the package egregiously exaggerates the amount of peanut butter cups. As good as this ice cream is, I think Ben & Jerry's (B&J's) does it better with their PB S'more pint. I'll leave it up to you, but for me this is a Doughboy approved if I have it pre-2024 when B&J's introduced the PB S'more flavor, but after already being exposed, it's just okay *Addendum: The bottom quarter of the container had significantly more peanut butter cups, so more of an equal distribution issue than quantity problem My favorite Cedar Crest Flavors: 1.
