Three things are always guaranteed here: delicious desserts, big portions, and late hours, which we love. It is perfect for satisfying a late night sweet craving. It can be a bit pricey, but the portions are generous and the quality makes it worth it. Everything we have tried has been tasty and fun. The service is always great. They are very nice people and the place looks really cute. It has some painted murals inside, It's a nice place to chill

If you have a sweet tooth, this has got to be your new favorite spot. I could barely finish my ice cream, and my friends ordered the bubble waffles which they said were super tasty!

Ordered Gordo's for the first time, my cousins love them. I had their Cinnamon Toast Crunch with adding biscoff Cookes inside. Unfortunately, my shake didn't have the biscoff cookies in it as ordered, but the shake tasted JUST like the cereal, super delicious!! Easy to eat, and hit the spot! I'd definitely be back to try their other menu choices.

No doubt delicious I just have a hard time paying $13+ for some ice cream. The guy working inside was busting it, he was all by himself! Props my dude!

Gordo's Bubble Waffles amazes me every time. I've had various flavors, but this recent visit has been by far my favorite. I ordered the Nutty Nana which came with Puppy Chow Ice Cream topped with Reese's peanut butter cups, nuts, Reese's butter, bananas, and whipped cream. It was delicious! 10/10 recommend if you are a peanut butter lover! One thing I love about their bubble waffles are they always come out fresh! Service is timely and the workers are very friendly. The store itself is bright and has fun characters on the walls which adds to the experience.

s'mores bubble waffle in a box with chocolate ice cream - so GOOD

LOVE Gordo's Bubble Waffles. It's in our neighborhood, so as soon as we tried it out, we inevitably can't avoid it now. It's become part of our Friday tradition - dinner, drinks, ice cream at Gordo's. I can't help but the get the s'mores buffalo waffle in a box, substitute the ice cream with chocolate. I intend to try different flavors, but for now, the s'mores is my vice. There are options to get a regular waffle cone or scoops, but if you stop by, I'd say it's definitely worth indulging on the bubble waffles! It freezes well too, so if you don't finish it all, you can save it for the next day.

This was my first time ever trying a bubble waffle, and wow Gordos made it worth trying! The waffle was made warm and had a very sweet taste almost melting in your mouth with the ice cream. They have a ton of different flavors. I tried the strawberry cheesecake and my husband got a Reeses peanut butter cup shake which was to die for. You can also get individual ice cream scoops or bubble waffle sticks. What a cool place! Parking is street parking.

Let me tell y'all something. Do not go here you're trying to get your life together. They won't let you be great! No but seriously they're wonderful.... I had a Biscoff shake and BF had a Resees and banana shake. That was Tuesday. I went back today(Thursday). 10 out of 5.

Gordo's Bubble Waffles: Located in the heart of Bay View (with a second location on the Marquette Campus), this trendy ice cream shop boasts not only a variety of ice cream scoops, but also their famous "Bubble Waffle" sundaes. The shop itself has a fun and welcoming atmosphere with friendly employees, striking artwork, and contemporary music. Although there were quite a few sundae options I would like to try, the one that stood out the most was their "Cookie Monster". The Cookie Monster is a scoop of cookies n cream ice cream topped with crushed OREOs, whipped cream, drizzles of Nutella & icing, all wrapped in a Bubble Waffle. I was immediately enthralled by the size and beauty of my sundae. To begin with, the crushed OREOs were not just a sprinkling of cookie dust, but almost entire halves of OREOs. Not purely for aesthetic purposes, the drizzle of Nutella and icing packed more sugar and flavor along with the light and fluffy whipped cream. Taking my first bite, I was startled to discover that the Bubble Waffle was still warm! In retrospect I probably should have expected that, but I've never had a Bubble Waffle and I was anticipating it to be similar to a waffle cone. The freshly made Bubble Waffle is not only warm, but soft and chewy with a slightly buttery flavor. Honestly, the contrasting temperatures actually works pretty well, other than the fact that it gives your dessert a short life expectancy due to the melt time. This brings me to my only two cons, which are both just personal preferences. First, you have to eat it quickly and I prefer to slowly savor my food. Second, I'm kind of frugal (I struggle with justifying $5 for Crumbl) and at $12 it is a bit pricey (ice cream scoops seemed on par with other area ice cream and custard shops though). I still say it's worth the indulgence to try at least once or on a special occasion. I know I'll be back for some of their other options at some point. Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

    Delicious Cookie Monster Bubble Waffle.

We stopped to enjoy a bubble waffle for a yelp event. My husband and I shared a bubble waffle. We chose the Cookie Monster. The hot waffle with the ice creme was delicious. We didn't know what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The service was great, she was very patient with us and she was very happy we enjoyed our bubble waffle. It will definitely be on our list to take our guests when in town. Gordon's was a quaint little diner type restaurant. We enjoyed the restaurant.

We were in the mood for dessert after dinner and came across Gordo's on Yelp and decided to check it out. Love the concept and all the flavors seemed so yummy! Went with the Ferraro flavor (it's also a new one). You can ask to switch out the vanilla ice cream for chocolate, which was nice. The dessert was so good! The ice cream on top with the warm, soft waffle below was a delicious combo. I'd say for us, one cone was enough for 2 people. Almost $13 per cone does seem a bit hefty but not too bad once in a while. They also have shakes and regular scoops as well. Staff were very nice and helpful. The shop itself is a little small with only a few tables so we did have to wait a few minutes for one, but it wasn't that bad. Will come again to try the triple chocolate flavor :)

How fun! My kids and I weren't sure what to expect and we were so pleasantly surprised! The ice cream is so delicious. But on top of a warm waffle, oh my Delicious! The staff was also excellent. Everyone was very kind and each dessert was carefully crafted. I can't wait to go back again!

It's a fun space and felt very welcoming. The chilaquiles were fantastic! They make their own hot sauce in house that was a good addition to the dish, along with chorizo. Highly recommend this one. It was also a huge portion and ended up feeding me for two meals. Make sure you get here early to avoid the extremely long lines; we planned to be there right when it opened and by the time we left, there were already people having to wait outside. Worth the wait though!

We reviewed the menu while we waiting for seating, which took far longer than we wanted, more than 30 minutes standing in the cramped lobby area with a bunch of other people. Hats off to their host for being friendly and even a little entertaining and I like that you can order coffee at the register area and drink it while you wait. Too bad you can't get a cocktail out there. The menu sounded great and we were ravenous so we were excited to order. By the time we were seated we were limited to about 40 minutes to get to a ticketed event, all in. I told that to our waitress so she could pace the meal accordingly. While I understand that she can't control the kitchen time, I don't think she showed any expediency or attention to my statement. Spoiler alert - we were late. Two of us ordered the biscuits to start with jam. I was happy to try them and they were good. My coffee based martini hit the spot, but it was spilled a little when it hit the table and our server didn't say anything or wipe it off. My mom liked her bloody Mary and it was decent. When our food came I was immediately disappointed by the appearance. My chilaquiles looked like they had sat under a heat lamp for ages - the egg was dried and over firm. My chips were spicy, but 100% soggy and nasty. My black beans were - meh. Not a good dish overall. My mom actually didn't find fault with her Honeypie Benedict. I tried the hollandaise and it was fine. My cousin did not enjoy her Hopple Popple skillet at all. (Potatoes, bacon, caramelized onion, mushroom, bell pepper, cheddar, two scrambled farm eggs) She found it difficult to find any egg, as it was apparently shrunk into tiny bits. The potatoes were like fries and it was overall bland. Not a winner. We certainly won't be back. The dishes don't live up to the interesting descriptions of them and the hype seems to be from an earlier, better time for this restaurant.

I stopped by for a scoop of mint chip custard and it was creamy, rich, cool, and delicious. But - really is there no bad day for custard? No, there isn't! This place is busy all year round, and for good reason. For the custard, there is usually a flavor of the day, plus the usual favorites, vanilla and chocolate, plus a sundae and shake of the month. A sign outdoors advertises the flavor of the day and a monthly menu of each flavor of the day is available online, if you want to plan ahead for your visit. If you've not been to this Milwaukee icon, it's a must-stop; the custard is really, really good. The retail store is set up like a 50s type diner, and there are plenty of folks ready to take your order. There is no seating indoors, just a few tables for standing-only to munch and chat. However, there is outdoor seating like a mini amphitheater on cement steps, and when the weather is nice, it is not unusual to see large groups of customers sitting outside eating ice cream or other treats or burgers.
